- Jack: An all around starfighter capable of performing numerous functions...
- of all trades: ...but specializing in neither.
Nonetheless, while not a sponge for damage, Stellarwind's excellent capabilities in salvaging operations have made it possible to craft an up-to-par hull in the cheapest way possible. The durasteel used in creating the hull is near equal to that of an X-wing.
An all around starfighter with a long warranty period offered by Stellarwind makes the Bandit an incredibly desired starfighter for smaller and poorer governments which most in the Outer Rim are. While stripping the Bandit from any means of comfort, customers have praised the Bandit's balance. It is simple to operate both in and out of combat, while being relatively reliable in terms of maintenance. Many have stated the Bandit's true potential can only be unlocked by ace pilots who can use the starfighter's great balance in performing tasks at first seeming impossible for a starfighter of its caliber.
Yet, the Bandit still remains an average starfighter most fitting and most utilized as starfighters complementing budget fleets. Due to its unregulated distribution, scores of the starfighter have ended up in the hands of pirates. A political response from bigger governments is yet to be seen regarding. Will there be sanctions? Pressure?
Maybe. Maybe not.
In the end, the Outer Rim is a wild, wild place.
