This weapon was made by Raphael to be a second blade, when needed, or a replacement in moments where he might be disarmed otherwise. It is a short sword with a single straight edge and a winged basket hilt. It easily meshes with Raphael's preferred form of combat, as it enables quick slashes and thrusts and, due to its makeup of Songsteel it is much lighter, allowing for near lightsaber speed combat.
- This blade is made from songsteel, allowing it to be able to resist lightsaber and other energy based weaponry.
- Balance is a single handed blade made for ease of use and combat efficiency.
- This blade is force imbued, allowing it to cut through many materials as a lightsaber would.
- Being made of songsteel, it is able to resist energy based weaponry, even without being imbued by the Force.
- The sword is a basic, single edged, straight bladed weapon and being a short sword, only about 50 cm, it doesn't have the greatest reach.
- Being force imbued it can lose the power of the Force, were it to come into contact with anything that removes the Force.
- Being a sword it cannot be hidden as easily as a lightsaber can be.
