After what happened on Coruscant, and the various encounters she's had with Sith since her awakening from stasis, Valery had made up her mind. It seemed that more than ever before, the Force called for her to return to her duties as a Jedi Shadow. Back in the days of the Old Republic, it was a secretive organization within her Enclave as well, one that only the highest-ranking Jedi were even aware of.

This seemed to have changed somewhat, but she was certain their duties largely remained the same.

Whether it was intelligence gathering or striking at the heart of the Dark Side, deep into enemy territory if necessary, the orange-eyed brunette had been trained for it. While the time in stasis had left her a little rusty, she had a great deal of experience and hoped to find her path within the Shadow ranks once again. For this very reason, she decided to contact the one person she believed could help her with this.

The Shadow Master Allyson Locke Allyson Locke , who seemed to be quite hard to find.

After boarding her modified Stealth-X, Valery continued her flight path through Alliance space. She didn't want anybody to listen in to this, just in case secrecy was still very much valued, so she would begin transmitting a message to the Jedi Master over a secured channel, which would be encrypted but no problem for the resourceful woman to get access to.

<Transmission>

"Master Allyson Locke, this is Master Valery Noble. If you hear this message, I'd like to meet to discuss the Jedi Shadows, and me potentially joining up with them. I await your message and coordinates for a meeting location, should you accept."

Valery kept the message rather simple and ran a hand up through her long hair while she sat inside the cockpit. Following a quick sigh, she jumped back into hyperspace and continued her path, hoping to once again find her way back into the Shadows.

Space was vast and held endless possibilities. It was easy to hide there, out in the darkness. No one to bother, no one to try and summon you for some great noble cause. It was peaceful and something that the Corellian Shadow Master had desired for some time. With Coruscant and the Council wanting to seclude themselves, Allyson had gone straight to work. There had to be some clue they had missed. If she hadn't been so obsessed with covering Zaavik's tracks, maybe she would have seen it.

There was no one for her to blame except herself. Zaavik was one distraction, but there was another.

In the silent depths of space, a comm device beeped. Its rhythmic pattern was easy to ignore for the first few minutes. As time progressed, the beeping grew intolerable, and Allyson pulled off the goggles wrapped around her head. "Who in Chaos found this line?!" She shouted at the floating comm as she kicked off the bulkhead and tossed the goggles aside. She had retreated to the outskirts of Confederate space - somewhere that no one would bother looking except the SIA Director, who already knew why the Corellian would park herself just outside Naboo.

Allyson snatched the comm device from the air and fumbled through keying in the passcode. Not many people had this line, the ones that did know better than to call it. If someone contacted her, it meant one of two things, they were in danger, or someone she knew was in trouble. She hoped that for once, the message was going to be a fluke and no one was in danger - especially a certain Obsidian Lord.

Floating in the nothingness, Allyson listened intently to the message. It was brief; she would give the sender credit for that. But it was suspicious. Shadows were rare; most wandered to the Silvers, getting their training there and ignoring the summons from the Alliance. Allyson didn't blame them; the program over with the Silvers had a lot more prestige; she even is a product of that training. She wouldn't be as good as she was without them. Time and again, the Corellian tried to grow the small batch of Shadows she had under her in the Alliance. They were all scattered now, which was all part of the plan.

"Curious," Allyson spoke quietly, not wanting to wake her companion. She was suspicious, but she responded, giving coordinates to what calculated to the middle of a forest on an undisclosed planet out in the unknown region of the galaxy. Allyson sent nothing but the coordinates, embedded in several lines of code and encryptions - if this Valery Noble was worth anything as a Shadow - she'd arrive on time, to the correct location.

"Bait, fire up the engines; we're going to see how good this Valery Noble is." Grinning, she looked to the droid as it did the prep work for a hyperspace jump. "Yeah, if she doesn't show up, I'll owe you pizza again."

A soft sigh escaped the woman's lips as she stared out into space from the confinements of her cockpit. Initially, there seemed to be no response to her message, which meant she had come all the way out here for no reason. But she was a patient one, and it paid off moments later, as her transceiver began to bleep.
"Hmm, it's encrypted. Must be her," she muttered to herself. There was no way anybody was transmitting some random message over this particular line, so shortly after her message. The fact that it was embedded in code and encrypted only further reinforced the idea that it came from the Master Shadow. Valery, however, was not the most tech-savvy person herself, but thankfully there was equipment on board to help her decipher the message.

She looked at the 2 sets of numbers and instantly knew what they were - coordinates to a planet, as well as a location on the planet. But they mapped to a place within the unknown regions, which was unusual. In other words, the perfect place for their meeting. With a grin, she set a course and began a path consisting of multiple shorter jumps - this made her practically impossible to track. The added stealth factor of her ship only made it more difficult.
As fast as was safely possible, Valery approached the forested planet and began a steep decline down through the atmosphere. Ships were much harder to track when they were close to the ground, due to interference. So she approached the planetary coordinates at a relatively low altitude. There wasn't any particular fear that she would be followed, but she wasn't going to disappoint Allyson at their first meeting.
Eventually, she landed in a clearing not too far from the meeting point. She hopped out of her ship and adjusted her vest as she took a look around. It was quiet and peaceful, exactly how she liked it. Normally, she'd cloak herself completely but that defeated the purpose of her coming here - they had to meet. So she only scattered her Force presence throughout the forest and approached the coordinates at a steady pace.
Allyson would not have to wait very long.
