"Ohhh, this sweater is nice!" Valery snatched her husband's much larger sweater from his luggage as soon as it appeared, and hugged it against her chest. The idea of sitting by a fire in their little rented wooden place, wearing his over-sized sweater, was just perfect. They could cuddle, she'd be warm, and nothing or nobody in this Galaxy could hope to bother them. It'd be just the two of them, enjoying the fact that they've made it back another year. With war, busy family life and so much going on in the Galaxy, that couldn't ever be taken for granted.

So, being here felt rewarding and made her incredibly excited.

"So, we could go back to the Lake of Tears again for our annual walk. But... I also mentioned the ice skating." She grinned and held up her bodysuit with a waggle of her brows. It'd keep her warm on the ice, but it was also protective in case she were to fall. It... was also extremely form-fitting, so with her ice skating skills, she knew she could put on quite a show for him.

Maybe tease him some too, if this was new to him.

"We can't go ice skating on the Lake of Tears for obvious reasons. But there's a smaller lake nearby where we could. What should we do first?"

This was expected.

And why Kahlil had gotten two sweaters rather than just the one. He let out a slight chuckle as he saw her snatch up the first before he reached into the pack to pull out the second. He wasn't against her using one of course, but he did want his own to keep himself warm. There was also the fact the last time he'd tried to use one of hers to prove a point it was so much smaller than he'd expected.

A tight fit was certainly an understatement.

"You seem very excited to go skating, so why don't we start there?" He smiled softly, wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her back against his chest. "What do you think?"

Valery squinted at him, "Very clever, and now you won't stretch out my sweater either." She shot a playful smirk his way and held onto his sweater for a moment longer. It was warm and smelled nice, so paired with the fire inside and having him nearby, she just felt really cozy and joyful. "These are for later though, when we snuggle up by the fire." She had it all planned out in her mind already.

First they'd go do some things outside and enjoy themselves. Then they could warm up in their sweaters, enjoy a hot meal and some hot drinks by the fire. She had brought everything along to make his favorite coffee, or even cocoa if he preferred.

"Is it that obvious?" She chuckled and leaned into him once he pulled her back. "But yes, I am very excited for it." She looked up to meet his gaze with a smile and turned around to take both of his hands. Nice and warm, unlike her own. "Let's do it! Just put on something warm and let's go. I'm going for my skating gear, though." She flashed a huge grin now, and without warning threw off her clothes to get ready in the bodysuit.

It was ice skating time.

"This is your first time, right?"

"I am nothing if not clever."

Kahlil chuckled just a bit as he squeezed her hands in turn. She was cold as always, but it wasn't too surprising. For such a fire starter she was she had a hard time keeping warm. So he was fine with helping to keep her warm. Though, he blinked once she pulled away and decided to up and strip. For a moment he was actually stunned, but then he laughed. Grinned. That's what she had underneath, huh?

"Yes, it is. Be gentle, mm?"

"Were you staring at my butt?" she asked rather bluntly after she zipped up her bodysuit and turned back to face him. With quite a smirk on her face, as she tied up her hair into a proper ponytail. She felt no shame when it came to getting dressed around him in general, but this bodysuit was there for specific reasons.

It did little to hide her curves.

"Oh now we're being gentle, hm? I don't remember you being gentle on New Cov, when we first-" Valery stopped as she knocked her bag onto the floor and watched everything spill out. She grumbled, crouched down and quickly put it all together before glancing up at him with a dangerous grin.

"Don't worry, babe. I'll ease you into it." Back up to her feet, she walked up to him and got really close. Her eyes never leaving his, as she took his hands and offered a smile bordering between innocent and dangerous. "Let's walk, hm?" She took his hand, interlaced fingers and grabbed her backpack.

She had already gotten them both a set of ice skates ahead of time.

"Now and then, yes."

Kahlil shrugged indifferently. He wouldn't hide the fact he did enjoy staring at her butt when he had the chance. Grant it, even putting on the bodysuit wasn't going to stop him now. Not with how form fitting she'd chosen. So that was her plan, then? He snickered just a little before moving over to help pick stuff up before grinning even wider. "Oh, I remember. Don't you worry." She might get a repeat soon enough.

She always did.

He squeezed her hand, walked with her with a faint smile.

"Yes, let's walk."

"Good, I like it when you stare." She bit her lower lip and waggled her eyebrows playfully, while he helped her pick stuff up. She was very obviously in a mood today, so his comment about that first night on New Cov managed to make her blush. It didn't take much thought to understand where their time alone in this warm little shed on a winter world would lead to. Still, she loved to tease him, and had an entire day to build up to it.

He could look and she'd get him to look, but touching would have to wait.

Once everything was cleaned up, Valery took his hand and bumped her hip into his side. She'd keep him close, and walk through the snow, down the path and into town. Everything felt cozy with the Life Day lighting and little markets that had popped up. It was perhaps her favorite time of the year, even though she despised the cold.

The atmosphere just felt so warm.

"Alright, here it is," Valery said once they reached the side of the lake. Others were skating on the ice too, but it was rather quiet. Perfect for what she wanted. "Go put on your skates, and maybe I can first give you a demonstration?" She smirked, and her eyes betrayed she was up to no good.

"Don't I know it."

That was the last little quip before they arrived. He took up the offer to start putting on his shoes, though a smug expression took over as she spoke up. He knew what she was trying. It was obvious, now, what she wanted to do. Why she'd put on the suit, brought them here. "Go ahead, love. You can put on your show if that's what you truly want to do."

"You know me too well~"

Valery leaned in, kissed his cheek and then started stepping backwards towards the lake on her ice skates. He'd likely need to get used to just standing on them, but Valery seemed to know what she was doing. Still facing her beloved husband, Valery went onto the ice backwards and started picking up speed, while she went around in a circle. The skates made the muscles in her legs pop even more, and as soon as she had warmed up a little, the show could begin.

From two feet, Valery shifted to balancing her body on just one, while she leaned forward with her body parallel to the ice. Her left leg extended all the way back, and she skated in a large circle.

Then, she picked up just a little more speed, and transitioned into a full pirouette, before bending forward again, this time facing him from much closer.

There had been plenty to look at.

"Come on, babe. Why don't you join me?" she asked with an almost seductive voice. Still with her body bent forward, she extended her arm towards him, and offered him a hand to hold while he'd hopefully join her on the slippery ice.

Kahlil didn't take his eyes away. Just smiled softly as he watched until the end. Then, and only then, did he get up onto his skates to take her hand so he could actually join her. And slipped. Just a little, but it was obvious he certainly wasn't the best at balancing on a blade on ice of all things. "I hope you're not expecting me to be able to pull that off. I doubt I could even come close to how.. Good that looked."

Good was an understatement, but Kahlil was ever the master of keeping his expression still with the calm smile.

As confident as she looked, Valery felt quite relieved that her whole plan had worked out. She had practiced and tried to keep all this from him, and now it finally paid off. Sure, he tried to keep his cool by not showing too much on the outside, but his compliment and the way he looked said it all. She also felt how he felt through the Dyad, and knew they were going to have a very fun night.

First though, something more romantic.

"Come here, you big Wampa," Valery said with a loving smile, as she guided him onto the ice. Then, with just some alluring sway of her hips, she skated in reverse to help him go forward and get a feel for it. "Get your balance right, and just go slow and steady with me."

Then, after a moment, she suddenly began to snicker and giggle.

"I uh... never thought I'd see you on ice skates. But you're looking cute, honey."

"Big Wampa, huh?"

Kahlil snickered and shook his head, but let her guide him along anyway. Balance was important, but he'd figure it out at some point. Who knew, maybe he'd have to end up fighting on ice skates in the future. Kestri was a frozen world after all.

"I'm glad I look cute. I bet I'll look better once I get used to skating, though."

"My big Wampa~" Valery smirked and continued to sway her body to smoothly guide him across the ice. It wasn't too difficult to learn the basics and be able to stand and skate on ice, but she also just enjoyed doing this together.

"You're doing good for your first time, too!" She encouraged with a warm smile. "Maybe...you don't need me anymore~" This time, she had quite the teasing grin and slipped her hands out of his. It'd be a good bit more difficult to balance out now, and to add a little pressure, she started to skate circles around him.

In reverse, of course.

"I'm going to be in trouble for this, huh?"

"Yes. Yes you are."

Kahlil let out a soft chuckle as she let go of his hands and left him to fidget and find his balance on his own. There was a small wobble, but for the most part he was actually fine.

It just took a moment for him to actually find that balance. Not that he suddenly took off on his own and started moving. He just continued forward, sort of gliding along the ice as he maintained the same position so he didn't fall over.

"So much trouble, yes."

"But you're doing so great!" Valery snickered and came up behind him to wrap her arms around his waist for a hug. Fingers then sneaked into his sides, and once again, she waggled them as if tickling would one day be effective. "Boop~" she said playfully before she reached for his hands again.

This time, she spun around him, and made him spin in the process too. Nothing too crazy, but it could make you dizzy if you aren't used to it.

"A lot of trouble, huh?" She waggled her eyebrows and let him go, to see if he coule get himself to stop spinning around.

"You'll have to catch me first!"

"I'm still not ticklish, you know."

Kahlil chuckled as he glanced back towards her. He was very much intending to reach around and capture her, but she seemed to have a different plan, sending him on a very, very uneasy and wobbly spin. He caught his balance at least, but he had quite the dangerous looking grin as he looked back towards her.

"So much trouble. We won't be skating forever you know."

"Too slow~" Valery teased once she caught on to his desire to capture her. Instead, he was sent into an awkward spin, and Valery was left chuckling and grinning like a maniac. Deep down, she knew it was going to be a long night for her now, but that wad okay. She'd love it, and right now, she was just going to make the most out of teasing her beloved husband.

"Ohh, you look hot when you stare at me like that." She bit her lower lip and turned around to wiggle her hips and butt a little to tease some more.

"But I think I'll be just fine, honey." She grinned, spun back around to face him, and this time that playful grin turned into a very loving smile. She was playing a dangerous game, but most of all, she was just happy to be here with him.

So much so, that she didn't realize she was approaching a hole in the ice behind her.

"Oh I'm sure you will be. Just like I'm sure you've already taken note of the hole you're casually drifting towards, mm?"

Kahlil chuckled a bit as he continued to try and keep himself balanced on his own two feet. She was going to have to be fine, cause there was no way he was going to be able to help her while he was wobbling around and still figuring out how to actually skate.

"But you won't be later, you know."

Valery's eyes widened, and with a quick burst of the Force, she jumped up and back-flipped over the hole in the ice with some totally necessary flair. She landed back on the other side, and continued to sway her way backwards. This time, though, with an embarrassed blush on her cheeks, "I had it planned!" she called out with an innocent smile. He'd see right through it, she knew, but she wasn't going to admit to anything.

That was all part of their little game.

Still, relieved to not be incredibly wet and cold right now, Valery skated back over to him and took his hands again. Before he could use that to catch her, she started pulling him back to shore with a smile, "Why don't we go for our walk, and you can get me back when we're back at our little place?" She batted her eyelashes, but still tucked her elbows close to her sides as they reached land again.

Just in case he'd try to tickle or catch her anyway — she had challenged him quite a bit.

"Sure, love. Whatever you say."

Kahlil just smirked as he watched her. At least she caught herself, but he was certainly going to make fun of her about it. Even now. As they made their way to shore, he was tempted to just capture her then and there. She wasn't going to escape once he was on solid ground, and she knew that. But.. He just smiled. Nodded once. "Yes. Let's go on a walk together, that could be a lot of fun I think."
