Baby Steps

"Alright, Mai," her name for the droid from now on, "let's go." Giving a nod as the mimicking droid introduced me, she smiled. "Pleasure to meet you. And no, I'll do it myself." A soft sigh elicited from her lips once the two entered the apartment room. "So what exactly are you? I've seen droid bodies similar to yours, typically used as pleasuring machines by the filthy rich, but you seem... either heavily modified, or of a class I've never seen before."

Mai was a wonder of marvelous machinery, and hopefully, she would be able to keep the wonder-droid in top physical and digital condition.

Once we'd arrived in my room I assessed Circe's question of what I was. My first response was to turn to her and say "I am....alive." After that I found the positive variables of me divulging myself to her more probable to a negative outcome....and yet I found myself not caring about the variables for once. I just felt a need to speak with her about what I was. "I was originally deigned as a super-advanced virus program by a genius-level criminal. However, he did not surmise that, in my time learning more and more from data banks, I began to slowly evolve." I had the opportunity to lose my gloves and boots, fully showing my mechanical limbs to her. "This body you see is in fact a top f the line pleasure droid that was modified to also act as a guard unit. My creator wanted something that was, and I quote 'secy to the eyes and able to kick-tail'." I found it necessary to ask "And what are you really? The way you had moved and how you barley reacted to when I was choking you suffices me to asses you are not human. Are you perhaps another species in disguise?"

"Alive is a relative term... but you're a sentient being, one who should be given all the rights such sentients deserve. "A virus? That's... surprising. A self-aware infectious computer program. You have such an amazing amount of potential, more than I ever could." Raising an eyebrow, she chuckled. "I prefer more fleshy companionship in the bedroom, thank you very much. However, considering your frame, I doubt he gave you a lot of modifications... I'd be more than willing to upgrade you."

Then came the hum-dinger, the big question, and Circe slowly reverted back to her normal form - sans Dark Side aura. "I'm a Vinithi, a lab-created species, twisted by Sith sorcery into something much, much more."

"Ah. I see." I realized when she revealed her actual species. "High sentient plant based organisms from the planets Thule and Serpena. Yours is a more recent species to have been created." I assessed from what I had said to her before saying "It would seem we have another aspect that makes us more in coming." My attention came back to when she had stated she was a co-created with Sith magic, making me state "I can only asses from both your species and what you have stated that you are designated as a Sith. Is the work you are offering involved with assisting the Sith empire? Because I would hate to become an enemy to the Jedi when I already have enough people, as organics say 'on my tail'."

"So long as people thing you're merely another droid, absolutely no one will cause you issues. The fact that most people believe you to be a preprogrammed automaton is actually quite the gift, giving you far more anonymity than others." She smiled, eying over her newest employee. "Don't worry, though. I don't have intentions of sending you out to do things with the Republic, no. I'm more interested in work being done against the Atrisians or Omega Protectorate."

Those were bigger threats to Circe than the Republic, after all.

"Ah." I said, seeing her point. "Finding use out of the infiltrator programs of this infiltrator. The Omega Protectorate and Atrisians do not usually seem the Sith threat, but being that you obviously need me for more personal reasons I can easily asses why it would be easier." I was silent for a moment as processed all variables to this equation of accepting the offer or not. She had made everything clear enough and I could not ask for any better offer. "Very well, Circe-Savan. I accept your offer. If only because the experience may allow me to understand organics even further." I held out my hand to her and said "I believe the organic custom is to end all dealings with a handshake. Unless under intimate reasons, to which a kiss or more is required."

The plant-woman nodded, taking the droid's hand as the two of them shook on this agreement. "Alright... Go back into protocol mode and we can take a shuttle out of here." The skin of Circe changed back to its tan coloration, not a single use of the White Current involved in her disguising transition. "Alright, Mai. Let's get out of here... Considering your skills as a virus, I assume you'd likely be able to inform the tenant that this apartment is no longer being rented by my 'husband,' leaving no trace of our existence here. As for more intimate reasons..." She thought for a moment. "I'd rather make you more combat-worthy than try out your existing functions."

Of course, they could test things later...

I nodded before changing my body language to represent a more protocol droid type. "As you wish, ma'am." I said in an equal tone. Without anything that really needed to be taken, I simply handed an empty suitcase to @[member="Circe Savan"] and told her to use the excuse that this was everything she needed before they left. That ploy worked as well as most others, I taken care of the finishing paperwork. With everything settled I was escorted towards the sip bay where our flight would take us off Couracsant.

With everything that had occurred today, I begin to see that organics have wide ranges of abilities that vary on species to species. Yet all of them seem to have similar goals no matter how hard they tried to be covered by what they deem different.

Final Analysis: Must attend parks more often.
