Description:

The Baar'ur is designed with rescue and medical treatment in mind above all other things. The ship is very standard in it's combat capabilities and is vastly under powered compared to other ships of its class. The design was for the express purpose of providing medical assistance to the Mandalorian Navy. One of the main features is the many tractor beam projectors which is intended for use to rescue ships and pilots that have been hurt in engagements. MandalTech's Owner through several purchases obtained a large enough number of medical droids from Cestus Cybernetics to supply a small number of medical frigates. After numbers had been crunched it was found that there would be enough in the first run of ships to provide a frigate for each system fleet with several left over for rotation. The few defenses are designed to allow the ship to make minor defense before either a jump to hyperspace or reinforcements arrive but lacks the direct firepower that most shipbuilders overload on to modern ships.

Another feature is the advanced air scrubbers that serilize the air before recycling it back through the ship. The ship also has sealed medical areas to prevent infections and diseases from spreading to other personnel. Outside of the medical areas in also a mandatory sterilization unit to help ensure safety of both patients and crew.

Hello, it seems your image is broken in some way.
I'd also like to point out that it's 10 defensive gun batteries, not just guns. Though medical frigates typically run under-gunned and I applaud you if that was intentional.

Could you also explain the reasoning behind the long-range sensor array?

It is deliberately under gunned but I did change it to point defense batteries. The long range sensors are for search and rescue operations either after or during battles.
