The need for a standard amphibious rifle made itself apparent when the Seiarenei formed the hypothesis of intelligent life invading their world. Tasked with the creation of such weaponry, the Zeltrons of Palamir came up with the idea of the B-30; firing powerful ammunition and capable of operating efficiently underwater just as well as outside of it, it is a simple, yet reliable ranged weapon. It possesses an ammunition counter on the small display below the scope, keeping track of the bullets left in the magazine. It is most effective at medium range and still somewhat useful at close range, although it is useless at long range, which walls for a switch to a different weapon - a painful aspect when fighting in the great open areas of the ocean.
