HK-42
Grievous II
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
As the Development teams were trying to come up with newer versions of Clone Wars Era battle Droids, one of them suggested the Grapple Droid, which soon everyone agreed to do. Enhancements had to be made, of course, as using the blueprints word per word would be foolish, especially for a droid capable of going toe to toe with Lightsaber wielders and not get cut down right away. It was decided to make the pincers slightly bigger, to add the Red Variant's flamethrower into the design, and to make the electrical output of the droid higher than the previous one.

- The Pincers the Droid has are capable of crushing or impaling enemies and obstacles, or they could be used to smash through stone walls. The B2-GP grapple droid excels at close-quarters combat and its embrace is quite lethal. The droid is dangerously efficient against Lightsaber Wielders, who were unable to utilize their blades to attack in this embrace.
- The Electrical charge the pincers produce can also be used to create a small shockwave that can be shot out about 10 feet away from where the droid slams the pincers into the ground at.
- The range for the built-in flamethrowers can reach about 6 feet away from the droid and can be used as a defensive tool, or a distraction.
- The electrical output from the Pincers can be used to power up generators, though this requires stabbing one of both of the pincers into the machine.
- The droid can be flanked due to its slow movement speed and can be attacked from behind.
- There is a serious risk of the flamethrowers melting the pincers down to being useless stubs, depending on the environment that the B2-GP is in.
- If an arm is somehow ripped off of the droid, the Pincer can be used to stab into the B2-GP, effectively killing it depending on where the pincer is jammed.
