SPECIAL FEATURES
  • A Low Power Mode is available on the weapons to keep the droids from being Lethal to anyone using them for Combat Training
Strengths:
  • The droids have thick enough armor plating to be able to take the blaster bolts from training rifles without suffering any damage, the same being said for low power weaponry such as most blaster pistols and EMP Grenades.
  • The Droids are able to last much longer without having to charge than most Battle Droids, due to the option of a Low Power mode that can either harm or stun anyone hit by the bolts.
  • If an enemy were to attack, the droids could swap to a High power Mode that allows the weaponry they carry to be capable of killing their target, making the Training Droids a surprise defensive line that the enemy would not expect.
Weaknesses:
  • The two different types of Droids walk around with bright orange targets painted on their weakest parts, giving the enemy a helping hand unto where to shoot just as much as it would help an allied recruit who is shooting at them for target practice.
  • The Training Droids share a lower amount of Intelligence due to the simple fact that they're meant to be used as training, and that means they're supposed to be easier to hit and take down by a recruit.
DESCRIPTION
As the Crimson Hand grew in size, more and more organic recruits were needing to be Combat Trained. This would be perfectly fine if there was a method to train the new generation of organic army soldiers in trigger discipline and target practice. At around the same time, the idea of a surprise line of defense in the form of a B1 and B2 battle droid was beginning production, though the first batch was meant for hostile, enemy controlled worlds until the Recruiting Branch of the Crimson Hand Heard of the project. They quickly requested that the infiltration droids be repurposed for Training Droids, which was a simple and easily accepted request, soon letting the two ideas and problems combine into one pair of Solutions.
