Strengths:
  • The droid has an above average efficiency with the blaster it is equipped with, due to improved targeting computers built inside of the droid
  • As the name suggests, this droid is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, with a maximum safe operating range of 1900 degrees Celsius (3452 Degrees Fahrenheit), and is unable to melt until temperatures reach 2400 Degrees Celsius (4352 Degrees Fahrenheit).
Weaknesses:
  • This unit is one of the few that requires a central computer to operate, due to the pack that made standard Clone Wars era Battle Droids function independently was unable to withstand the high temperatures the rest of the droid could, causing serious malfunctions. The solution could easily be reversed if the backpack every droid of this type was destroyed or damaged too heavily to function.
  • The droid is not as intelligent as one might think it is, which is slightly more advanced than the standard processing power of a Clone Wars B1. This means they can easily be outwitted on the battlefield, although not as often as most would be used to with the template's form of intellect
DESCRIPTION
The first situation when it came to producing an army, at least with the ideas of what to prepare for, Volcanic worlds were the first idea. Thus, the B1-M was designed and created, using a combination of alloys and materials to make it as heat resistant as possible, so then if any enemy needed to be routed out of a Volcanic World, the Crimson Hand had the units capable of dealing with the heat. They only carry a specially made variant of the E-5 Blaster Rifle, allowing the weapon to sustain the same amount of heat as the droid itself can. The Maximum temperature the B1-M is capable of operating without any risk of failure is 1900 Celsius, with the sheer max being 2400 before the droid does begin to melt. besides the fact it is only slightly smarter than the Clone Wars area version of itself, the only drawback to the droid is that it is one of the few units required to be controlled by a centralized computer, due to the parts that allowed independent thought in each droid had to be replaced, simply due to the fact that the parts would melt in the heat before the droid's body would.
