(Not exactly what I pictured but closest I could find)

Intent: To provide a unique weapon in the police arsenal, because let’s face it, every cop needs a Billyclub.
Development Thread: no
Hero Unit: No
Manufacturer: Kolvo Weapons Corp
Model: B-11 Pulse Emitting Impact Weapon
Affiliation: Republic Law Enforcement
Modularity: No
Production: Mass Produced
Material: Durasteel, duraplast
Description: Just as most of the weapons and armor innovations made to support Law Enforcement, after the darkness, this baton was also made with that purpose. However, unlike almost all other innovations, this baton was not made under a government contract. Kolvo weapons saw an opportunity to cash in on the growing police community within the Republic’s sphere of influence and decided to create a new tool for their arsenal. During the early years of the Republic riots were a common sight, even on the highest streets of Coruscant. Police soon found that the standard shock batons were not enough to scare off angry rioters or enough to keep an adrenaline pumped maniac on the ground. This is the essence of the B-11 “Pulse Emitting Impact Weapon”.

It was no longer enough to shock fighting suspects or attempt to stun an pumped up rioter, police needed a hard hitting, no funny business tool that could be used less lethally. So was born the B-11. The baton is made from a 6 centimeter thick duraplast rod surrounded by a centimeter thick layer of durasteel. Nicknamed “The Boom Stick” in Coruscant slang, the baton got its name from the light pulse emitters found between the duraplast and durasteel layers of the stick. These pulse emitters are activated when an amount of pressure, equal to a baton strike, is applied to censor pads built into the durasteel. Once this happens the emitters emit a small energy pulse that sends a wave of energy throughout a two inch radius of the impacted area. This pulse moves through the skin and muscle to simulate a pain, equal to the pain of the impact, throughout interior and exterior nerves of the muscles and tissue. It goes as far as to rattle the bones for maximum pain output. The batons are made to add a menacing boom that sounds much like a sonic or ion cannon firing, to add to the fear factor of the weapon.

Classification: Impact weapon
Size: One or two handed
Length: Has personalized lengths, but standard version is a meter long.
Weight: 2.25 kilograms
Other Features: It maintains the average resistance that a durasteel, durplast mix offers.

I have no problem with the technical portions of this submission. However, a riot stick designed to inflict maximum pain may not be consistent with the Republic's positions on human rights. Please consult the factions heads and report back.
