STANDARD FEATURES
  • Standard systems for any modern ship of its class, due to the underwent extensive overhaul.
  • Computer systems lacks some functionalities - namely, navcomputer and automated weapon systems interface.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Amazing retro good looks and an impressive blue paint job.
  • None.
STRENGTHS
  • Fast ship for its kind, particularly given its cargo bay's size.
  • The ship's computer is sentient, giving it an edge over 'passive' models.
  • The ancient line and model, paired with modern technologies under the hood, makes the ship prone to being underestimated and overlooked by some.
WEAKNESSES
  • On the other hand, being an old-looking model it tends to attract unwarranted attention by others.
  • Lacks navcomputer and automated or advanced weapons systems - or even the ability to install them, unless the onboard main computer is revamped or replaced.
  • Ship's computer is temperamental and sometimes has a will of its own.
DESCRIPTION

Modern versions of standard sensors, sublight and hyperdrive engines, deflector shield generators, laser canon, and reinforced plating, makes this otherwise subpar relic from a bygone era well suited for modern freighting, even across inhospitable space. Its efficiency for hauling cargo through perilous sectors, is mostly due to its high maneuverability and speed, rather than armor and armament. These latter, serve mostly as deterrent than actual obstacle against hazards, since it was impossible to go considerably beyond what the ship's original hull allows to - case in point, the single (yet potent) manually-operated laser turret.

Even those portions of the hull where the defensive plating was upgraded with variously sized plates of titanium, underwent such modifications due to necessity rather than intention. Specifically, the metal plates were scavenged from the ship's old hyperdrive.

The computer systems, obviously outdated and otherwise incapable of handling the modern retrofitted components were, nevertheless, completely fried. A droid's brain module was fitted to serve as main computer [link to droid's future character profile to be added, pending ship's approval], alas missing navigation capabilities. The current captain and owner, Spek Zhio, resorts to his Instinctive Astrogation to navigate a course through hyperspace. Lacking supplementary systems to fall back to - which the ship and owner currently do - or in a case of a complete lack of connection to the force from Zhio, course correction or planning is utterly impossible. Furthermore, and although the computer is fully capable of operating and maintaining the ship in a fully functional state, as any other would, it lacks any sort of weapon interfacing and projectile trajectory computability. As such, automatic weapons cannot be installed with the current ship's computer, unless an upgrade to the brain module is performed - to which the current one is unwilling to do.

Since the ship belongs to a very old model, not in active production or circulation, it may be missing from common current galactic databases. That, and the fact that on databases where it does exist, it is listed according to its standard factory specifications - and therefore inaccurate ones, due to the modern overhaul - the Azure Alcyone is capable of eluding third parties regarding its actual capabilities.

Lastly, since modern drives and shield generators are more efficient yet smaller and lighter than the original models, the already light frame of the ship allows for it to gain an improvement in both speed and maneuverability, as well as spaces for additional hidden caches to smuggle cargo.

You forget to link the picture into the spoiler, if you want you can edit this.
Sorry, not quite following. I did link the picture on the second line, under 'image source'. As per my understating of the rules.
I grant you that formatting is not my strong suit, but I can work on it afterwards.
Please write a list of what will gives the protection's high rating.
To tell you the truth, I don't quite care about the armor and weapons for this particular vessel. I gave those two ratings because they were the bare minimum in order to make the ship a balanced one, according to the provided spreadsheet tool.
Anyways, if a description is required, I can just write down something like durasteel or reinforced durasteel, maybe titanium (adding it to the materials list), or instead mention something about shielding, etc... Whatever you feel is most adequate.

Thank you for your time.

First, thank you!
Second. Not mandatory to reach the balance, the point is only the submission will not to be overpowered. So please, yes add to for example the the "reinforced hull" or "deflector shield" to your list.

Fixed it, mate.
Also added the titanium alloy to the ship's materials, decided to also include the transparasteel, and made that section more clarifying.

Even those portions of the hull where the defensive plating was upgraded with variously sized plates of titanium, underwent such modifications due to necessity rather than intention. Specifically, the metal plates were scavenged from the ship's old hyperdrive.
Also included this new paragraph on the description mentioning the reason and origin for the titanium.
