HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Auric Basin always held religious significance for the Rishi natives. It was, according to popular folklore and legend once home, a cradle of life whose bounty benefited all who lived there, that was until the Rishi became greedy and took excessive bounty, in response the gods created the Maungur who preyed upon them until the tribes were forced to leave.

- Accessibility: Accessing the Auric Basin is a journey that can be made via conventional means. The area is home to a concentrated population of Maungur and Kell Dragons which compete for food and territory making it dangerous to explore alone.
- Description: Located in a valley the auric basin is a swathe of land dominated by dense rainforest occupied by proud knotted trees, it is known by locals to be one of the more dangerous territories on the planet and remains mostly unoccupied despite the presence of rich exonium deposits. Camps and old dig sites might be found, although much has already been reclaimed by nature. Despite this, the site is a place of pilgrimage for Rishi seeking spiritual guidance and rare flora used for traditional medicines.
