Auction Day - Coruscant

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name - Jane Cavara Midwin
Location - Coruscant Underworld, Level 1320, 'The Auction Fair'
Time - 13:00 Local Time
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coruscant, Center of the galaxy, and hub to all of its affairs. From space, and from a speeder flying through the up-levels, Coruscant looks like a dream destination; Skyscrapers, Penthouses, and Parties from which the eyes can see. At night, lights gleam throughout the skies from the thousands of penthouses in the city, touching the stars up above. Next to all of that, the Ornate architecture of the city was well.. something to be impressed with, whether it was the Grand Senate building or the Jedi Temple, Coruscant held some of the most impressive feats of Architecture in the entire galaxy. However, all of this gleaming beauty, was in place too.. hide, another portion of the massive ecumenopolis, that of course was its.. underbelly.
The lower levels, while very interesting in there own sense, were not for the faint of heart. The under-levels were the, in the sense of an Iceberg, the dark place hidden by the black waves. While most of the lower levels were, simply housing and or businesses, the farther you ventured down.. the nastier it began to get. For example, level 1313, or.. the crime station of the underworld. A Place far enough down that the law enforcement from above simply gave up on it. One could only imagine the horrors in which could come out of these realms, Nevertheless, the story of this tale takes place only seven levels above 1313 in level 1320.. 1320 was famous for simply one reason and one reason alone; its hidden black market auctions. This reigned from illegal weapons in which could never be imagined before, too.. well, slave auctions.
On this day though, a Massive slave auction was taking place in the 1313 level. The Hutt Crime Lord of Grovas Hog had ventured from his pit on Tatooine to the 'Auction Fair' in level 1320. He had before hand advertised his grand auction across the dark-dataweb in the hope he'd catch the eye of anyone willing to pay a high price for his exotic slaves. Likewise, with all this preparation he had done, he also put in quite the money to prepare a bit of a 'festival' for his coming.
On the 1313th Level Grovas had organized in a secret area, which was designated on the open invite on the Dark-dataweb to anyone willing to come, A large 'festival' this included; Open bars, dining areas, dancing areas, the whole nine yards for what was to be a festival under the levels. Next to that, he made sure to employ his strongest and most capable guards to protect this event, just to make sure nobody tried any funny business. And lastly, for the auction he had imported all his greatest Slaves, the 'products' in which he had gathered for five years for this special day. Men and Women of all species were to be gathered from across the galaxy, from all corners and rims to be sold here, for anyone willing to pay each slave was posted on holotables at the festival, showing of their looks and prices. Lastly, Grovas had imported his fast collection of speeders, and weapon models in which he had acquired from the Black Market in which he planned on selling here, and displayed all these special models publicly for anybody to view who had attended the event.
Moving on, Against the walls of the main hall of the event, were the slaves being sold. Each cell had a plaque on the side with the name, race, planet of origin, age, etc etc. Around the event hall held about.. 20 slaves in total, with eight being of alien decent and twelve being human. However Grovas had placed the main cell on the stage in perfect viewing distance of any of the patrons sitting in the dining main hall. In this cell was Jane, a young a beautiful 'human' girl. The hologram sign above her was showing of her details, along with a price of 1 million credits for starters, however many knew that price was destined to go up.
As the event moved on Jane would continue to sit in her cell, being of course.. Used to these kind of events, it was of course nothing new to her, she was used to being sold around however, not at such a festival like, she was usually only sold for less than ten thousand, and sold at Tatooine bazaars. Nevertheless, she would sit up and view the crowd around her, inspecting the loads of luxurious looking nobles with sick looks on their faces, and most likely even sicker thoughts in their heads. "Creeps.. I hate the way they look at m-" She would whisper to herself though, being cut off by the tinge of her shock collar going off as she was instructed not to speak unless spoken too.
Nevertheless, as the main event began after three slaves were sold off, Grovas finally exited on the main stage, with his personal protocol droid. "Chowbaso bu nestival, jee tweesha uba add broughta uta-sha crediitts" Grovas would say as he took his throne, laughing with his loud thunderous Hutt laugh. "Lord Grovas Welcomes you all, And says he hopes you all brought all your credits" His protocol droid would retort after Grovas finished speaking. As the two got into position, Grovas would press a special button activating holoprojectors, which displayed over all the cells of the slaves, which in part showed off the prices for each slave.
"Gushu nree browse, bu auction widd begin owah" The huge hutt would yell off as he laughed and craved his disgusting face with his grubb which was Just freshly served to him. "The Mighty Grovas says you may begin browsing, the main auction will begin in an hour." His protocol droid would translate and respond, before leaving the stage to act as a translator for any of the guests who now had the time to.. 'browse'.

Salis hummed to herself as she drifted about in the underbelly, she wore her typical armor, but left most of the helmet off, just wearing the rebreather that hid the scars over her mouth, leaving her white hair on her shoulders and paled skin visible. She was quite well armed, but who wasn't around here. She had zero fear of almost anyone around, and next to her was a droid with blasters for hands, while her others took care of the ship. She felt she was rather on the upper end of the threat levels for this type of place. However, that did not mean she was any less suspicious of every individual passing by. In spite of her scars, there was always going to be an occasional onlooker. She didn't particularly care, though, she didn't care about much except what entertained her in some way or made it easier for her to get her entertainment.

Coruscant underbelly, not the place she'd normally go, but today was a little different. Salis hadn't had a slave before, never really bothered. As a Knight it might have made sense, but she was just too busy and had no need, now however, she had both the time, and the potential need or entertainment one could bring. There was certainly quite the collection as she browsed along, men, women, numerous species and weapons. Today should be interesting.

Finally the slaves advertised against a wall, and one however way up front. [member="Jane Midwin"]. 1 million credits, quite pricy, but...there was something special about this one. Her looks of course were to be admired, and no doubt many would pay the price for that alone. But there was something more that seemed to intrude the amoral mercenary. She went about her business for a time, and watched as the Hutt and his protocol droid mentioned browsing and when the auction would begin. She brought her credits alright, and proof of more if necessary. She was willing to expend quite a bit today, she had used next to zero money as a Sith Knight except what they gave her, and rarely paid for anything beyond what was necessary as a mercenary, which meant she could expend very large swaths of cash when the time came.

Salis took a good look at some of the male slaves, particularly a zabrak. Could be useful, she could use an extra hand, and Zabraks were always some interesting ones. Might make a good sparring partner too if she decided to practice without the force. But ultimately, she returned back around to the caged woman with 1 million credits, she leaned to one side and cocked her head at the woman, she could still sense something, something incredibly unusual, "Say, where do you come from girl?" she asked. Her voice was incredibly casual about the whole thing, neither demeaning, nor pitying, as if this was no different then every day life, "Surely you have some kind of story to tell me."

As Salis Approached, the two heavy guards which were standing present at Jane's cage to make sure the 'merchandise' wasnt damaged beforehand would step away, allowing her to have her to 'browse the merchandise'. While [member="Salis"] was wandering around the Hall she would've noticed some prominent wealthy figures coming around to look at Jane's looks, however none of them could really tell why she was worth 1 million credits. She simply looked like a normal human, however to any force user, they could defiantly sense why the price was so high.

Nevertheless, Jane would look over as Salis asked her a question, She scooted over to the cell bars and looked Salis in the eyes, nervously, however.. she somewhat felt safe with Salis as she wasn't coming off as 'harmful' besides for her looks. "I uh.. I um, come from.. Tatooine, and well.. I don't really have a story.. I was just a girl who was kidnapped by pirates at a young age.. you know, the average story that comes out of tatooine.." She would say as she looked back down, thinking back on her life before she was a slave, back when she was simply an orphan girl who lived in one of the Tatooine cities, well who knows, after these years she could hardly remember her foster home, nor where exactly it was. All she could really remember were her old orphan friends who she knew were either dead, or slaves like her, however, as dark as it sounded, she hoped they were dead as she believed nothing is worse than living a life where you have no control whatsoever.

As the two continued speaking, more and more patrons began to enter the festival, people of all races, all classes, and all professions. Doctors, Politicians, Nobles, Soldiers, and Scoundrels all wandered in with specific interests in mind. As more people also entered, Salis would notice that Jane's price would increase to two million to adjust to the inflation of more guests.

1313.

You wanted somethin' bad? You went to 1313. Less than 40 levels below, lay Razor's teams http://starwarsrp.net/topic/134323-the-shed/]"shed"[/url]. As if Setter Ryburn wasn't aware of something like this happening on Razor team's home turf. Setter was intent on waging a one-man war against any and all bad people on Coruscant. The Coruscant security forces were spread then, the latest iteration of some dickhead Empire wasn't exactly giving a crap about the down and dirty part of their sprawling metropolis.

But Setter did.

He prepared his vest, a typical Razor-team skull-mask, nine magazines for the RS16, a Disruptor pistol, his vibroknife, two frag grenades, a thermal detonator, a garrote- and a pair of Ultrachrome knuckle dusters. He always wore one on his left hand, so it wouldn't impede with his operation of the rifle, but he could still lay a whollop on someone if they got too close. He pushed the stock in and checked the suppressor on his rifle, before throwing the jacket over his vest. Making his way into the market, he didn't exactly stick out- there were a lot of men who looked like him walking around, long coats and shady looks.

But there weren't a lot like Setter-

No, Setter was here to kill a lot of bad people, and expose even more.

But, he would settle on killing a lot of them for now. Setter glanced around the market- then spotted a rooftop party. A good vantage point. He started to make his way upwards, intent on using that as his position to start the chaos. If he was gonna wage a one man war- he might as well have a good vantage point, right? He saw his first target, in the single space, dimly lit stairway that led to the rooftop party. A well-dressed security guard with an earpiece and a grim look. The humanoid put his hand up to stop Setter, probably to ask for his invitation. Glances to the sides and behind him produced a secure, quiet area for Setter to punch him in the throat. As the guard held his throat, Setter quickly took his garrote out, and wrapped it around his neck, before pulling the guard over his back, twisting his body so that Setter was back-to-back with the man. He was heavy, and fighting. Choking, flailing at the top of the stairs. Eventually, Setter found the sweet spot- and gave a sharp twist.

He stopped moving moments after that. Setter let him down easy, and leaned him against the wall. Any passing glances would've assumed he fell asleep on the job, or was just lazing about. He might've been just some guy on a security detail. But Setter needed to send a message. Slavery wasn't welcome here. Slavery wasn't going to be tolerated here. And anyone who wanted to work with these scum of the galaxy- needed a swift ticket punched to afterlife.

Setter produced his rifle, and prepared to breach the door. He sneered, mentally steeling himself for the massacre he was about to inflict on a bunch of scummy nobles and rich assholes. He pulled up the half-skull mask, sneering as he flicked the safety off.

Cue music.

1313.

Didn't speak anything to Amon. He had been quite disinterested in the overpopulated and seemingly infinite Coruscant. He had rarely visited ecumenopolis of the galaxy but they all looked the same as the insides of a ship. Confined, tight and almost out of air.

The Mandalorian had been stuck with Setter ever since Ranger High Command opened a subpoena against the Razor Squad leader. Why the heck were they chaining him to the man Amon did not know. He didn't ask for that and he was sort of reluctant to follow that order but in the end he kept his head down and here he was.

A vigilante-by-accident.

He shadowed Setter as the man choked a guard before moving on to the door. Amon crept up beside him, the hilt of his darksaber now in his hand while the other held a vibroshiv. Very useful for intimate practices in the darkness. The Mandalorian looked Setter up and down, the man even when he was investigated for some sort of war crimes he'd still gone and done chit.

To Amon the man had a very Mandalorian attitude. Ironically, little did he know that the man despised bucketheads.

The Mandalorian looked up at him from his crouched position. "Breach already."

He hadn't really thought about the possible consequences when he'd return to the Rangers in Silvers space. He didn't care much.

Mandalorian stubbornness at its finest.

Salis looked at the two guards with slight amusement, but let them do their jobs. The mercenary nodded thoughtful as [member="Jane Midwin"] responded with her history, average story she said. Maybe it was. But there was more, there had to be. The force was with her in some way, she had to wonder if that was the reason for the price, it would make sense. But, why would her sellers know about it?

Glancing around, Salis could see more entering as they came closer to sale time, and groaned as the price for Jane went up, they weren't making it an easy decision. She hummed to herself and crossed her arms, she wanted this one, she seemed easier to manage then others. And that...connection to the force, that would be wonderful to learn about. An entertaining woman to have around one way or another. She spoke into her commlink to the police droid and stomach on her ship, "Get us ready, I want to be out of here once I'm done." she ordered. Her freighter would be flown to a closer location, an easier escape route, awaiting her departure, or further orders. She didn't know about [member="Setter Ryburn"], or [member="Amon Vizsla"], awaiting to attack. If she did, she'd have tried to make a deal right now, unfortunately, sometimes the force just wasn't enough to make everything easier. She was however eager to make the payment and get out of here, though she didn't have anything more then a casual appearance of interest in the moment,

She returned her gaze to the girl smiling underneath her rebreather, which could mostly only be seen in her eyes or the sides of her face as a result, "Rough life isn't it? Never actually had a slave before though. You seem pretty nice though, so, as long as all goes well," she held her arms out in a sort of shrug, "Might just end up with you. What would be your reaction? Or have you just gotten complacent about it?" she asked curiously.

Slavery. There were some things an organic could do that no droid could do. That was just the frank truth. There were occasions when a good organic's intuition was better than anything. Of course, He treated the few he had well. It had nothing to do with morality and everything to do with expedience; there was nothing more costly than a slave uprisings.

The Beskar-clad Mandalorian milled on the edge of the crowd of buyers and sellers. Some of the merchandise was his, but he was more in the buying market. On either side the Force-dead warrior was flanked by Alexa'ika and Virgil on either side. Around the trio was a pair of Godkiller squads, also encased in their thick armor, their T-slit visors covering their faces with the classic Mandalorian T-slit. Of course, on the ground coverage was great, but the general had long ago learned to cover his exits. Overhead the Atonement was waiting for the worst.

"A million for a single slave?" Virgil asked over the team's internal comm as the entourage approached one of the center cages. A single girl was in there. The stoic Mandalorian turned her head to look at the girl, her only indication that she was talking about her. "What kind of toy is someone looking to get with that?"

"Clearly one they can take for multiple rides, I would guess," Aries, one of the Godkillers chuckled with a knowing tone.

Ardgal took a step forward towards the cage. His helmet gave a polite nod towards [member="Salis"] as he stepped next to her. His HUD gave a deep overlay of the girl behind bars. He stood without a word as he looked her over. It was true, there was nothing that could be special about her, except her looks. And, while the galactic standard would hold that she was comely, even then, other slaves with similar appearances on the black market were only starting at half that price. However, a Force sensitive slave.... now that could go for quite a tidy sum. His cyborg implants calculated a 85.67% chance of causality between the two sets of data.

"Are you aware of the price on your head?" he asked her, his voice inquiring more than anything else. "And do you have an idea why?"

While all of this was taking place, in the balconies of the main auction hall, heavy guards stood in position with 10 different sniper balconies overlooking the entire room. Grovas had spared no expense on this building and was willing to kill for the defense of his grand auction under the city. Along with all of that, after suspicion was triggered by a foolish rodion at the festival entrance, Grovas had ordered his men to defend the perimeter making it even more difficult to either enter or exit as 3 groups of heavy speeders began protecting the area. Nevertheless, anyone with proper training could easily make it in and out, it was just a matter of finding the right exit and entrance and during the correct moment. Finally however the festival would've capped of as the flow of new guests began to stop off, the room had around.. eight to nine hundred inside of it, with all the dining tables and bars full of patrons. A Majority of the guests were nobles, however throughout the crowd fellow bounty hunters, mandalorians, smugglers, and people of all professions were wondering around viewing the other merchandise in which Grovas had put out at his festival.

Jane would look up to [member="Salis"] as she continued to speak, listening into her as she spoke into her commlink. As she began talking about 'making a quick exit' she began to realize, with such an event.. she was starting to think that something was gonna happen.. there was no possible way this event was going to go so smoothly. However, she disregarded this thought.. Grovas had ensured to all his slaves they'd be going home with a new master, so, she had no hope that her 'knight in shining armor' was going to show up at this event.

Nevertheless, she looked back up at Salis as she finished speaking. "I.. I don't care.. Anything is better then life with Grovas" She'd laugh, however.. only for a second or two, while she was a bit happy of the thought of leaving Grovas, she was still a slave. That was the sad truth of the matter, however she had come to grip with the reality of her situation. Likewise as the other group approached and [member="Ardgal Raxis"] asked his question Jane would've looked up, never actually seeing what her price was, only hearing rumors or thoughts. Before long her eyes would widen, and a look of pure confusion was across her face.

"I- I-, I don't know.. I- I'm just a human, I don't know why I'm worth that much. I'm sorry sir" She'd say with an apologetic tone in her voice, while she began to think on what Grovas had in mind, it made no sense at all on why she was being sold for that, unless Grovas knew something she Didn't about herself.

Before long however, as the other group prepared to breach Grovas took the stage once again with his entourage of guards and his personal protocol droid. His grub jar would've been served to him and with that a microphone set up for him. "Thanka uba uta-sha patienceee" The hutt would speak as he then laughed. "The Mighty Grovas would Like to thank you all for your Patience" His protocol droid would translate before returning to his attention position. "Ateema, bu auctionio maee begina" Grovas would finally cheer as he raised his cup into the air. As he did so, he signaled the beginning of the auction, around the room auction data-tables would begin going off as Auction droids counted off numbers, all tables going off except for Jane's which was being saved for the very very end.

The breaching charge was a low-yield explosive designed to take out the door and nothing else- at least, in a destructive, combustive sense. The shockwave produced by it was nothing short of jarring- and slightly destructive in it's own right. It was also, like most things Setter had, stolen.

He laid it across the door. It was a charge with two bags of water on the side with the door- and the det chord around the locking mechanic of the door. The water charge was often overlooked as a way to get into an area- even with a steel door like this. Setter pushed Amon back only slightly and made the motion for him to cover his ears and open his mouth. For those that weren't aware of explosives- being so close to a charge, and having the unequal pressure in your closed mouth suddenly shifted... felt like someone hitting you in the face with a baseball bat.

Setter grit his teeth and opened his mouth, and turned the electric fuse on the charge.

The initial explosion, the low yield det chord- only served to push the water out of the bags. The second charge- the larger case of explosives, damn near evaporated the door. In the enclosed space, shards of metals eviscerated the two nobles standing near the door. The woman was cut apart like the expensive cheese she was just eating. Setter moved into the room first, witnessing first hand the confusion. The glasses on the rooftop some twenty feet from the door, that were once in the hands of the nobles, were all shattered from the concussion of the charge.

Setter identified the two other security guards, and with two series of well-practiced drills, made their heads into canoes, and gave them two fresh chest holes. He sent the Zabrak guard tumbling over the edge, and impaled him on one of the stalls below. Setter stared at the nobles, who were once sipping happily on wine, about to buy people's lives for their own amusement or benefit. Setter was shaking with pure rage.

"All of 'em."

He said to Amon, before pulling the sights of his RS16 up to his eyes. And Setter just. Went. Off. He dumped an entire magazine into a variety of people, steel-faced as he slaughtered the unarmed rich assholes of the scummier variety. Once he was done with his magazine- which was rather quickly, Setter went to work bashing in the skull of one of the noble's face with his knuckle-duster-adorned hand. To say that he caused damage to the man's face was an understatement. You couldn't even tell that he was a Zabraki noble anymore. He just looked...broken. Setter grabbed him by the throat, while he was barely alive, and stared at him in the eyes. He wanted him to see that when he was in hell- the man who sent him there.

But he didn't say anything, no last words to that scumbag.

He threw him off the one-story rooftop, headfirst into the crowd of people bidding. Setter walked to the edge, and reloaded as he went, dropping the magazine onto the rooftop, and inserting a fresh one. He let the rifle hang and primed a frag grenade to toss into the waiting crowd of would-be buyers. He casually tossed it- safely away from the slaves, and watched it roll on the ground, before he hit the bolt catch on his rifle- and chambered the first round from his rifle. He took cover on the rooftop, waiting for the pop of the grenade and the screaming to start. You know- from when all those would-be slavers got blown the hell up.

Setter couldn't help but start to grin under his mask.

The ballroom was already in a stir before the grenades fell, Men, women, Humans, Aliens, All classes were wandering around, examining the merchandise and placing their bets. From around the room everyone could see the large numbers being placed. On one slave the idiotically rich merchants and nobles rose a slave which was only worth 30,000 to a staggering 600,000 Credits. One thing all these patrons had in common is that they had money. Likewise, Another slave was then bought for a little under 500,000 during the auction, and another for a little over 300,000.

However, the once beautifully loud room went to silence as the dead corpse of one of the nobles fell into the room. Everyone, from Gorvus himself to all the balcony guards went silent. Everyone would stand and stare, looking in hope that maybe.. the poor soul would've survived however everyone knew for a fact there was no way he did. As a moment passed everyone would begin whispering to each other before 'it' happened.

With a loud roar from the ignition of the grenade, the entire ball room shook, guards began scanning around, speeders outside went on full patrol, and the whole room went into chaos. All the patrons of the event began running for their lives, Gorvas himself began doing his best to escape at his very slow speed, screaming for his life as he flailed in horror. In the explosion about sixteen were killed by the grenade because of the sheer density of the crowd while twenty four were injured by the shock-wave. Luckily though, no slave was harmed in this whole stir however. Nevertheless, after that grenade hit the ground, the whole room became an utter chaos-zone.

Furthermore, Jane saw this as an opportunity nevertheless, while she did fear for her life as she didn't know if this was an imperial raid or some sort of terrorist attack, one thing she did know was the fact that she had her one chance of becoming a free woman. Quickly she would've turned to the two parties at her cage which were [member="Salis"] and the group containing [member="Ardgal Raxis"] and issued for some help.

"Please.. just let me out, I don't want to die in a bloody cage" She would've cried with her vaguely British accent, begging for either of the groups to free her from her durasteel cage in which she was trapped in.

Another hum as the girl responded about not caring, fair, not entirely unexpected. She'd happily take her off the hands of those slimy creature.

Salis's attention was pilled as a group came up, she was instantly suspicious, though that was perhaps not necessarily noticeable, regardless, they weren't interested in her. But unfortunately, they were in the slave she was trying to have a chat with, seemingly, with similar ideas about her pricing. She made sure her droid was aware and watching,

Irritatingly, the woman wouldn't be put up just yet, that made things troublesome. But Salis was wiling to wait, that was, until she heard a blast, and sensed incoming danger as [member="Setter Ryburn"] set a door into pieces, along with a few individuals, her Paladin blaster rifle automatically rolled into her hands from where it was across her back as she turned to face their enemy along with her Z65_patrol_droid. People were dying fast, she let out a bit of a gleeful giggle. As much as she wanted to get involved, she also wanted this slave, with a flip she contacted her 501-Z_police_droid on the Astro Class LX Combat Freighter with an order to close in in the ship to a specific exit, she glanced a grenade fall, "Hold up on that." she muttered, flicking a wrist carefully out of view, it wouldn't send it far, just make sure it wasn't anywhere near her, she didn't need that seen just yet.

He wasn't paying attention to her, however, [member="Jane Midwin"] certainly had begin for help, Salis leapt up onto the cage and out of her back pouch emerged her Lightsaber activating one end and swiftly splitting a hole in the cage, holding out a hand to help her out as she rehid her lightsaber and returned her blaster rifle to her hands, she glanced at [member="Ardgal Raxis"], "You wanna talk about this, we'll talk later. First we're getting out of here. Follow if you want. But I might not suggest it," she stated simply tipping her head towards the enemy, "Don't need any extra attention then already.". If her goal was only to fight, she'd heavily enjoy it, but she needed to see what was up with this woman and didn't need him and his entire group who undoubtedly could pose a threat fighting with her over this.

She glanced up at [member="Setter Ryburn"] and where [member="Amon Vizsla"] would be and quickly tried to make sure Jane went with her to try and head into the crowd away from the group towards the dedicated exit of the ship her patrol droid in tow watching behind them for any attackers, if all went well she could get out with this slave easily. Or at least, with minor scratches, she'd let them do their damage to the slavers. She didn't really care their reasons why, but no doubt, the slavers would remember it. If they lived through it. But Salis hoped she'd just look like someone trying to help a girl escape.

Jane, as everything was going off would grab the hand of Salis in an instant, sure she was no 'knight in shining armor' and well, planned on just keeping Jane as a slave, however, one she wasn't Grovas, and two, Jane knew she just needed to get the hell out of there.

Likewise, as Salis cut the Cage open, blaster fire began to erupt across the room, Smugglers, Bounty hunters, armed guards and scoundrels all began to open fire on each other. Each and everyone of them fighting for their own life. While this all happened, some slaves however were sadly gunned down as they attempted to run away, which began to freak Jane out as she prepared to make her daring escape. Nevertheless, she manned up and looked her new friend in the eyes, nodding and thus making her way out of the cage.

"Th- Thank you!" Jane would shout as she was being pulled out of the cage, in a quick movement she would've fixed her slave outfit before heading with [member="Salis"] to the exit, while at the same time, protecting herself as much as she could being that blaster fire was no going on all over the place because of the insueing firefight. It wasn't long before the Black market weapons in which were being auctioned were finally broken into however, and thus started some real chaos. One after another escaping Nobles and Patrons began to disintegrate and Bounty hunters who had stolen Disrupter rifles began opening fire on Nobles who had most likely not paid them back after some contracts.

"Look, please just get me out of here.. I'll go wherever with you, I just wanna live" Jane would beg Salis as she held dearly onto her, holding as tight as she possibly could as Salis led her out of the Festival building.

Only three minutes into the firefight and already one hunread patrons had fallen dead to all the chaos caused by one grenade going off, sadly though for anyone trying to spread a message however, Grovas would've made it out safely, the slug passed into one of his hidden bunkers in the back of the stage and with that boarded his personal ship which was stationed in a small underworld hanger.

The game of subtlety was over.

All hell broke loose the moment Setter came through that door.

Death and carnage fell upon the patrons of this auction with Ryburn believing he was bringing down righteous judgement upon them. To Amon it all barely meant anything. He was brought up the Mandalorian way, the Vizsla. to believe that the strong survive.

Only the strong.

Vizsla activated his dark saber as he paced through the door. The eerie and characteristic to the darksaber sound was nearly muffled by the noise of war around him. The black blade danced and pranced through armed men, he did not bother with those who brandished no weapon. While Ryburn seemed in a murderous trance, the Mandalorian seemed far more composed and he had shuffled through it all to a security panel to seal the exits completely.

A blaster bolt grazed his shoulder and Vizsla nearly bit his own tongue in pain. He twisted his body at the direction of the fire and hurled the vibro knife with such precision it sliced through the man’s head in an intricately grotesque way. Amon hurried at the security panels located on another of the balconies and used a chip card the guard on the door hand to access the terminal. Mere seconds went before the exits were sealed turning the place into a dome of death.

His eyes caught a troupe of Mandalorians carving a dark frown on his face but he was not here for them. Near the Mandalorians a duo was trying to make its escape like everyone else.

But escape was not on the cards, yet.

“Exits are sealed” Amon told Ryburn through his comm earpiece. “But the Hutt you spoke about got away. What’s next?”

The exits were sealed.
Sweat formed on his brow. His grip on the rifle tightened. He took the slack out of the sling, bringing the holographic sight up to his eye. Sight picture, sight alignment. He grit his teeth- and squeezed. Again, and again. He discriminated against no one- there was no mercy from Setter, absolutely none. From his perched position, it was an absolute nightmare for the would-be buyers. Nobles were being canoed left and right, and lined up against the sealed-exits, panicking, on top of each other- fish in a barrel. Setter grit his teeth and kept squeezing off rounds, cutting down buyer after buyer, and slaver after slaver.

He changed magazines twice, no telling how many he killed just by shooting alone. He chucked the frag grenade again, watching it roll towards the crowd of panicked slavers. He might have been a killer, but he drew the line at morality somewhere, and keeping one's life hostage for profit was above him. He turned to Amon, dropping the spent magazine for a fresh one as he stared at the Mandalorian.

In total, Setter massacred 45 people with 60 rounds of ammunition. Setter was a hyper-lethal vector on the loose. He turned and sneered at the bleeding, broken, and screaming slavers, stopping for a moment. Some might've called it an artist admiring their work-

Setter was assessing where he needed to reattack and focus more to inflict the most amount of damage. But among the colors, light stood out. Light and movement were the one key factor to any person's sight, and a combination of both in a carefully-watched baseline sent Setter's eyes downward. A flash that was over like that wasn't return fire from a blaster- and the lack of impact meant that Setter was looking at the distinct red and white-hued blade of a lightsaber. The culprit was a woman, and she stole a glance at them.

He nudged his head at Amon.

"Sith. Eyes up."

He flexed his hands, and began to simply jog to the stairs. He was going to face the Sith, her droids, and whoever else wanted a piece of him down at the market level. The destroyed market had plenty of spots of cover. Overturned stalls, flipped tables, credit chits spilled everywhere, and blood. Lots of that. Setter was walking in almost a pool of it, stepping over dead bodies. He began to walk towards the Sith and her woman, leaving Amon to deal with the Mandalorians he saw. He knew the kid had a grudge against them lately- he'd let him have his fun. He brought the RS-16 up to his eye again, and with a shrug of his shoulders, dropped the coat into the blood-soaked floor.

Two shots went to the droid, the immediate threat- right into it's visual processing hub, or at least- intending to. The RS16 was powerful enough to drop most targets with a few well-placed shots. Setter wished he brought a more destructive weapon, but the weapon was effective in his hands, however lacking in volume of fire that he had. He grit his teeth, waiting to see if his shots were enough to drop the combat droid. The only reason he hadn't gone for the Sith was because she hadn't yet presented a threat- and on the list of things to worry about, a droid with guns for hands ranked higher than a chick with a laser sword that had to close the distance on you to get really dangerous.

She was going to be providing some level of support for this mission. Frenzy was no stranger to the Core. She wasn’t at Coruscant when the Alliance fell, but she was over at the battle of Fondor, finding herself taking refuge on Corellia until she felt it was safe to contact Alliance High Command. And she was very shocked when it all seemed to have gone to hell. IN a hand basket, as they said, from time to time. She still made her way to D’Qar, learned what the goal was and had returned herself to the Core. She was keeping an eye on Corellia, but doing what she could for the forces of Light, be it the Order of the Silver Jedi, Corellian Confederation, or the Alliance.

And that meant doing the missions others didn’t want to take, but with the understanding that she was now part of the Underground. Help those who needed it. Expose and remove those that she could.

Hearing about Razor and his team, the woman had been keeping an eye out, making sure to offer her own assistance when she could. And heading to Coruscant? She had been dressed down, not in her typical gear. She had items that looked like heavier gear, but was going to hopefully mitigate damage so she didn’t need to reveal her other powers. Between that, a pistol on her hip, and a vibroblade, she was putting up a guise that she was going to do something. In truth, it’d be Force enhanced and Teras Kasi. Keeping with the team, she didn’t even flinch when the guns went off. She wasn’t taking part, but she didn’t exactly see it as wrong.

Just thank the Force she had her mask and nothing about her was tracking back to her own identity. Her own ears perked as she heard the word Sith. That was why she came places.

“You guys want a piece of that? I’ll keep anything off your back." Her right hand held her pistol, her left, with the knuckler, was glowing a bit orange now. Just enough fire to add to the punches she was going to make to anything that got close enough to her.

In a matter of a few seconds things had gone from bad to worse to a sheer blood bath. As the bodies began to fall rapidly, the Godkillers moved instinctively like one massive organic being. Hermes and Aries grabbed a nearby table and flipped it over in sync, giving them all a cover to take. Virgil, Homer, and Ceres all took cover behind it. The Godkillers were bred for combat, super soldiers who's blood cooled with the rage of battle, rather than burned brighter.

"I spot two, one T-visor, one mass murderer," Virgil said.

"Confirm, eyes on Rage Murder," Homer echoed, drawing his Charric Hand cannon. He thumbed the safety off as the grenade exploded.

"Eyes on Mando," Virgil peered over the cover, her Ghost rifle trained on him. "Give the word boss."

"Hold! Eyes on a blonde woman, she looks like a Forcie," Hermes barked, his eyes lighted on [member="Danielle Stellaris"], "Priority target."

Ardgal nodded to [member="Salis"] as she had mentioned talking about it later. His words that followed were a business proposal that she would likely not refuse, "Half a million to help you both get out and the girl is all yours."

She would of course, more likely than not accept. After he spoke, the doors came down and they were locked in. Or at least, most would have been. He turned his T-slit visor and looked to [member="Amon Vizsla"] through the haze of battle. He hadn't attacked them. He hadn't assaulted them, he had sidestepped the vod. He was a composed professional, and possibly it was familial ties that had dictated his sidestepping of the Raxis makeshift fort--or maybe it was tactical guise to let someone else take the fall. Either way, Ardgal gave him a nod and two fingered wave of respect from the other side of the field. They likely would meet again sooner than later.

The warrior placed a hand on Alexa'ika's head. The Basilisk wardroid gave a mechanical hum of excitement as it sat by its master's side. "Oya tenn Kurshok."

The droid bound forward, its massive chassis plowing through anyone or anything who dared stand in its way towards one of the nearby doors. A quick blast from its Pulse cannon damaged one of the blast doors, making it buckle. But Alexa didn't slow down. The Basilisk war droid barreled forward, slamming into the massive door. It caved in completely, shattering and sliding across the floor.

"Get out," Ardgal didn't bother looking back at either [member="Jane Midwin"] or the stranger bounty hunter. "Virgil, on me. Homer, escort the women out. The rest on me."

Ardgal stepped boldly forward, closing the distance towards the apparent new hostiles. In his left hand, Ardgal gripped a Punisher Pistol, the other hung empty by his side. Several sparks arced around the general and the 4 troops who followed him. A haze of smoke drifted through the air from the grenade. There were several alarms going off for the smoke, the blasts, the lock down--everything. Patrons scurried away, doing their best with sobs of horror to avoid the impending fire fight. The Mandalorians paid them no care. None of them believed in bloodshed for no reason, but if they didn't escape--well, they should have hired RMIA for their protection.

The HUD in Ardgal's helmet locked onto all three of the primary targets that seemed to be making this assault as he came to the center of the floor. He stopped right next to one of the gambling tables that had served as an entertainment commodity for the buyers during the assault. His free hand rested on a nearby abandoned chair. He didn't intend to fight off or kill these murderous crusaders. All he had to do was buy time for the others to get away in whatever way possible.

"Good evening," he said cordially towards the attackers with a nod of his head. Just because they were probably about to shoot at each other didn't mean there wasn't room for manners. His head inclined towards the stranger who had done most of the shooting, "Your gentleman there is quite fond of killing." several sparks arced from the ceiling above, cascading harmlessly off Ardgal's black and red armor, "But thing is, the four of us actually shoot back. We all have a moment to work out an agreement before this has to get out of control."

TL;Dr
Ardgal is moving front and center to talk with anyone who is willing--or shoot. Or whatever ya know. He offered to make some sort of arrangement but isn't exactly sayin' "Come at me bro."
Alexa - knocked a door down.
Hermes - with Salis and Jane.
Virgil, Ceres, Aries, with Ardgal.
Ceres, Aries, Homer are Godkillers.

Things were heating up fast, the doors were closed. Salis could cut through them of course, or use the force, but that'd be just another way to attract attention. She'd gotten [member="Jane Midwin"] out who seemed quite grateful to which the mercenary smiled and nodded, but there was a lot to work with at the moment. And the longer it took to get out, the more of a target they were.

[member="Ardgal Raxis"] Responded to her comment with a price, half a million, "Done." she answered watching the men work, quite some excellent teamwork indeed, she'd remember these people if they all made it out. The droid got ahead of them heading to the door along with one of his mean and Salis followed with Jane, however, she caught sight of [member="Setter Ryburn"] on their tale, Shoot, he saw the saber. she thought. Normally that would be a lovely moment but she wanted out right now, following quickly behind the droid she used the one hand to shove people out of the way with quite considerable force.

She looked to Jane, "Don't worry, gonna get you out of here in one piece." she said with a chuckle as if it was just another regular day, she didn't sound particularly terrified even among all the chaos as they ran she looked at the Z65_patrol_droid, "Aid defense, target." she stated pointing at [member="Setter Ryburn"], the droid started adding the fire of what was already flying around into the mix from his two arm mounted blaster cannons Hermes was with them, which made it easier to pay them if they had to make it out faster. And also provided more defense if the enemy closed in before they got to the door.

However just as it got a few shots off two blasts rammed into its head heavily damaging the sensors though because of the heavy build of the head and Quadanium steel it hadn't fallen, but was completely unable to track anything or even follow Salis. She gritted her teeth, slinging the Paladin Blaster rifle to make sure it was on her back steadily she used a hand, lifting the droid which split into several pieces the head com pletely crushed and launching them at [member="Setter Ryburn"] while racing to the door, they'd be there soon enough, they just had to keep these guys occupied. Salis flicked her wrist and sent two Stun Pearls rolling across the floor to Setter to try and deal with him or get him distracted, each with a three meter radius on either side of him, so she hoped as long as he was not wearing protection against it he'd either be forced to run or get taken down

Telegraphing was a mean son of a queen.
While [member="Salis"] had been lifting up the droid, Setter slid into cover- and the heavy chunks of the droid slammed into the overturned stall (and the squishy body of the would-be buyer that Setter had recently turned into a fine exhibit of religion, because of how holy he made him). The shots went wide, unable to be properly aimed and controlled. But Setter's eyes went downward at a specific set of movement.

Pearls?

He moved his head back upwards to re-engage the Sith, but then, a bright flash enveloped him, and a loud bang. The shockwave of the flash was absorbed by the bodies around him, but the stun effect due to the noise alone sent his body downwards, hugging the blood-soaked ground, rapidly blinking. See, the thing was (and the movies, games, whatever) not got quite right was that it was never the flash from a flashbang that got you. It was the damn noise. Messed with your brain hard to have a sound that loud, your balance, everything. He vomited, dropping his rifle. His fingers felt numb. If he hadn't been behind a table and behind a body, he probably would've been out cold. Which, might've been preferable. He fell onto his back, trying not to scream. She might've not seen him take the effect of the grenade, but he was feeling it, oh boy. The word of the ne'er-do-well Mandalorian fell on deaf ears. Trying to have a discussion during a firefight rarely produced a tangible result. Setter was a professional and focused- he only talked when there was a lull or screamed at the top of his lungs to carry his voice- trying to talk to him during a firefight wasn't going to get the Mandalorian anything.

He rolled onto his back, curled up into a ball. The view of the high-rising buildings of Coruscant came into view. And so did something else, something that Setter was not planning on this far down-

Imperial Dropships. Two of them, probably filled with Stormtroopers, Death Squads, or whatever they called their pipe-hitting assets. Probably called in due to the War Droid (as it would happen, it was the exact reason that it was called in) blasting holes where it shouldn't. Setter needed a minute to recover, but now- needed to get out of dodge from the AO. He'd done what he came to do, in the ensuing chaos, he'd killed most of all the slavers, or wounded them, and they were at his feet, bleeding out.

But this Sith lady had made it personal. He just hoped the incoming Dropship would make it easy. He and Amon had an escape plan, but it was risky, and didn't exactly fit in the 'guaranteed' department. Setter rolled back onto his stomach, fumbling for his rifle. He had to get back on his feet, had to keep fighting.

It was nothing less than a warzone in these confined quarters. Everyone with a gun, whether they knew how to yield it mattered not, was firing to everyone else. A perfect moment for some to settle scores and debts and others to unleash their murderous behavior without a reciprocation of disgust from society.

Despite its infinite levels and eternal crime hives Coruscant hosted with the Imperials turning a blind eye to it, a bloody mess such as this one was hard to overlook. The arrival of Imperial dropships from above proved that.

They would be heavily armed, typical for Imperials to drop an overkill on someone's head but Amon didn't blame them. His eyes drifted to the bes'uliik accompanying the band of Mandalorians. One of the men, perhaps their head honcho had stepped out to the center of the hall, he called out something but Amon barely heard him from the balcony over the commotion of the firefights. Vizsla wondered if he was an idiot bringing a bes'uliik to a slave auction and strolling in the middle of the battlefield or was he brave enough to do so.

Amon wasn't really sure. His father, the Alor, often told him the line between stupidity and bravery was extremely thin.

And in all honesty the Mandalorian couldn't care less.

He adjusted the mask and headpiece Setter had given him as he noticed the door cracking under the pressure of the war droid's pulse cannons. If the Ranger's helmet took him some time to adjust to from the change of the T-visor, this would probably take him twice as much time to adapt to.

The comms crackled with Ryburn alerting him of the presence of a Sith, his actions pointed that the Sith would be the odd female accompanied by a slave and a droid. The latter torn to junk by Setter's rifle.

Amon climbed over the balcony's railing and dropped down right in front of the punched exit. The repulsor soles on his boots preventing him from crushing his knees from the height of the jump. His darksaber deactivated right after he stabbed an armed man in the back taking his cover. With the dropships spewing out heavily armed stormtroopers which logically began scurrying around the place to form a lockdown, the Mandalorian wondered the use of the mysterious lady that had accompanied them ([member="Danielle Stellaris"]).

Vizsla barely had enough time to ask himself that question when stormtroopers exploded through the various balconies dotting the upper floor of the hall and some behind him. Blaster bolt struck the back of his durasteel blastplate forcing him to find another cover.

There was no mercy in the actions the Imperials.

A ruthless sweep and mop up operation of eliminating vermin.

Anything not shining in bright white armor on their crosshairs was hunting season open.

"Well," Virgil said as the imperial troopers began to descend into the hell of criminal vice, "Damn."

"Exfil, Exfil, exfil," Ardgal barked through the team comms, his voice carrying the seriousness of the situation. What should have been a simple day on the sales floor had turned into holy hell. Well, that was why you came ready for anything. He didn't come to start a war with the imperials, and Ardgal had no plans to upset major powers that be now.

Ceres and Aries didn't have to be told twice. Their training kicked in, both the Godkillers backpedaled to join [member="Salis"], Alexa, and the slave girl. Virgil, however, was as stubborn and loyal as Ardgal. Ardgal hurled the chair he held in his hand at one of the approaching troopers, knocking the man unconscious with the blow. He raised the pistol in his hand, firing a smoke grenade that filled the room with a thick, covering haze. One of the troops came closer, Virgil slammed the butt of her rifle against his faceplace, KO'ing him on contact.

"I told you to go," Ardgal chastised her as he weaved his way to the exit Alexa had made for them.

"Screw that," Virgil said, not far behind him. "First in, last out."

"Over here," Hermes pulled [member="Jane Midwin"] behind a pillar for cover once they had made it out of the exit. Hermes was a Godkiller, but before that he was a field medic with as many notices for saving friendly lives as he had for taking enemy ones. A blaster pinnged off the duracrete over his head, sending flecks of the molten material down. He grunted, giving her a body scan with his HUD, "Are you injured? any pain?" he didn't of course leave it just to her and his scanners, the medic looked her over for wounds too. There wasn't time for a full treatment, but anything that could keep her from a swift retreat or kill her before she arrived--well, that, would have to be resolved.

"Looks like we are doubling on guard duty, ma'am," Aries said as he slid to a halt next to Salis. He raised his rifle and began laying down covering fire with Ceres.

"That doesn't apply with direct--" Ardgal's reprimand was cut off mid statement by a blaster shot to the back of his left shoulder. He grunted at the sting, "We'll finish this later."

The duo caught up, Ardgal and Virgil each took cover behind either side of the door frame Alexa had knocked down. The haze of the fight wasn't over yet, they still had to get to a transport. With Imperial involvement Ardgal's calculations placed getting off-world as 295% harder than it would have been before.
