As far as containing herself went Kaili found herself resorting to greater, more drastic measures and turned away as Allyson started to undress in order to get into her bodysuit. Obviously Kaili had already seen said body wearing far less clothing before, but just this once she had to contain herself and the way that Allyson’s body made her feel. There was that thought to just tear it all off and taking her there and then, but getting the armor done was far more important. The girl sighed and continued to push the thoughts away. In the long run she knew the importance of self-control, and giving in so soon since last wouldn’t be it. Silence hung for a few seconds and she turned around only to see Allyson standing with her back towards Kaili, offering the last stretch of the zipper for the young Talith to finish .

“Oh! Of course.” Kaili exclaimed as she quickly reached for the ziplock and closed the suit up. “There. All done.”

A deep breath filled the young woman’s lungs and a quick exhale let go of the tension building up inside. She felt worse than a damn rabbit and perhaps some part of Allyson would feel that as well as the tension cont. At least the bodysuit fit her like a glove. Pun intended. Kaili watched as the fabric as it hugged Allyson’s body. Each breath a testament that she had picked the best material for it. Elastic, skin-hugging and just right. That lower lip slowly started to pale again as the girl’s fangs applied more and more pressure to the point where she nearly felt pain. A hand brushed against the workbench table until she could wrap her fingers around a welding gun and extending it for Allyson to grab. Without taking her eyes off of the bodyglove she reached out for a nearby set of welding goggles. One pair for Kaili, another for Allyson.

Safety, first and foremost. Something the girl felt all the more luckier she didn’t have to say very often between her and Allyson.

A mental slap across the face had Kaili trying to stop herself again. The straps of the goggles hugged the back of her skull and applied pressure to her temples. Perhaps not the temple that she-

STOP! KAILI. JUST. STOP.

“There is more to life than the force, I hope you know how to weld, Allyson.” The girl said as she managed to strike actual conversation instead of idle daydream. She sighed once more in a final attempt to push the ‘emotions’ aside. “I value them both equally, but keeping both yourself and presence in the force as balanced to each other is the ideal way to be.”

“In that regard some of the people who were actual jedi would think of me as a ‘Sentinel.’ I personally think that sounds lame, but it’s tradition. I can’t hold it against them, you know?”

“So, hook the battery into the slots I had the metalworkers cut here,” Kaili pointed at two out of four spot Allyson had to hook the battery’s hooks into. “And here.” She finished with the last two. “Oh and, try to not get those sparks in your face. They can burn. A lot.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson watched Kaili, there was obvious struggle with something. Silence had fallen between them and knowing what was going through Kaili’s head, Allyson decided to just let it happen. A smirk as she felt and watched the girl struggle with the tasks she wanted to do and the tasks she needed to do. Either way, Allyson won in this little situation. Finally, Kaili’s responsible nature had won out her primal nature. Feeling still a bit worn out from earlier, Allyson welcomed the break and the moment to learn. Kaili was her Master in the sense of the Force, so to have an opportunity to study and learn was welcomed. Also it was a rare occasion, Allyson was usually the teacher.

Grabbing everything that Kaili had pointed out, Allyson set herself up on the workbench. There was an unamused look that was given when her Master had mentioned something about knowing how to weld. Taking the torch she shook her head. “I’m not an all powerful space wizard like yourself [member="Kaili Talith"]. Of course I know how to weld.” Allyson stuck her tongue out for good measure to prove to the mighty space wizard she was fully capable.

Grabbing the battery, she hooked it into the parts where the metal workers had left open. The battery fit pretty snug which for armor was probably a good thing. Kaili mentioned the sparks and Allyson smirked. “Well I’d feel more comfortable if I had a Master that could heal, but having you nurse me back to health is good enough.” She flashed the blonde Jedi a grin and then set to work, the torch lit up and Allyson adjusted the flame a bit till it was small enough to weld the battery into place. She leaned close enough,but remained far enough so she wouldn’t catch sparks. Stopping, she looked around and soon found the full facial shield. “Better, I can get close enough and my purdy face won’t get harmed.”

Sparks flew as Allyson began to weld the battery in place. It took a bit, but once she was finished she looked over at Kaili who was just standing there. “Are you going to help or just watch me?” The Jedi couldn't see it, but Allyson grinned and while she went back down to finish the welding she gave her little bottom a wiggle.

“Right.” Kaili said as the sensation of feeling dumb set over her. “Somehow hard to forget.” The girl blushed. “Sorry.”

There was a life without the force too. Now that was a concept that Kaili was not familiar with. At least not overtly so. Her friends all had it, her family had it, every single person that she let into her inner circle had that connection. Even Allyson, no matter how miniscule that connection might be. For a moment Kaili’s jaw seemed to drop as that particular realization hit her. Was she spoiled on a metaphysical plane as well? Quite possible.

The kid watched as Allyson put the battery in place. “A favor for a favor?” She grinned as Allyson commented on her inability to use the force to heal wounds. The shield was activated and Allyson went to work. “Trust me, neither do I.” Kaili added as the other woman went to work.

Sparks flew as Allyson began to weld the battery in place. Kaili nodded her head in approval.

“Just watch.” She added and handed Allyson yet another layer of the back. This was the middle layer, the part where the heart of the frame for the motorized joints. It wasn’t entirely too unlike a power armor in that regard. It help mobility and preservation of Allyson’s physical energy. “You need to be precise here. You want to weld the frame to match the battery as well as the holes here, here, here and here without accidentally welding one of the metal joints to the back.”

“... Trust me. That would be catastrophic.” Kaili stated the obvious before stating something as equally obvious. “You look amazing in that suit, by the way.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

The shield popped up and Allyson watched as the sparks dissipated against the invisible barrier. A smile cracked along her lips as she shook her head slightly. Looking up from the welding tool, Allyson remarked softly. “I thought you were just going to watch?” Not that she really minded, the fact that Kaili was doing what she could to help and protect Allyson from the sparks of the welder was welcomed and appreciated. The next piece was brought before her and she paid close attention to the points in which Kaili was making sure she knew about.

Allyson’s brows moved inwardly into a frown as she listened to the possible catastrophe that would occur if she wasn’t careful. She had heard horror stories about power armors and the like being manufactured poorly and when the poor sap that decided to go the cheap route decided to use it...well we know how that goes. Allyson remained still for a minute as she remembered the stories and pondered how Kaili would feel if the armor exploded and tore Allyson into a few hundred pieces. Probably best to not think about things like that? The Corellian refocused her thoughts and began to weld at the points that Kaili, her master had pointed out.

Each point being carefully crafted, she paused and looked up at Kaili after hearing the compliment. She returned to work, mostly admiring her craftsmanship without the welding tool. “When I slipped it on I had my worries, but you of all people know my body, probably better than I know it.” A sultry look glanced up towards Kaili along with a very subtle lip bite and then returned to the armor before her. “How many pieces in total do we have? Any special features?” Allyson knew there were probably several, knowing how excited Kaili gets about machines and the like. [member="Kaili Talith"]

It was those horror stories that had Kaili on her toes about creating a powered armor for Allyson. Unfiltered holonet image searches were the stuff of nightmares. There was no way that a metallic spike should stick through the flesh like that. The mere thought would have been enough to make Kaili shudder, and for some reason she had the notion that Allyson shuddered at the thought as well. They both wiped it from their minds, focused on the task at hand and leaned in to observe the finer details that went into creating an armor.

Kaili smiled back at Allyson as the grin spread on her lover’s lips. There was a subtle tug at Allyson’s lips. Teeth digging in to stave off temptation, a sensation that Kaili herself struggled with less than a minute ago. Which wasn’t to say that she wasn’t still fighting herself over it. In the end it was all about self-control and looking as if you still had it.

“Well, no,” Kaili began in a more desperate attempt to retain the control. “It is hard for anyone other than yourself to know the limits and current state of your emotion without any kind of hardware or ability within the force.”

Poker face. Poker face. Poker face- DAMN!

Kaili snickered. A grin spread on her face, a fang dug into her lip as she scanned Allyson up and down.

“Yeah, I’m looking to make it a suit focused on mobility and accessibility. Finesse over brute strength, that kind of thing.” Kaili Shrug™ ensued. “Won’t stop a saber, but if we’re lucky it might be able to keep you away from it altogether.”

The grin faded somewhat. “Besides, you fly ships. If we’re lucky you won’t have any use for this, right?”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson couldn’t help but feel utterly powerful in this moment, the way she could feel the struggle within Kaili Talith. The woman was a strong Master of the Force and right now she was mastering her ability to control any sort of desire she felt. It was comical in a sense, Allyson enjoyed seeing the struggle and the attempt at keeping the poker face and to keep things on track. Musing over this, she knew exactly what she could do to make this move into a way she wanted. Though, she remembered the woman’s injury and refocused her own mind on the task at hand.

“I’m not in any hurry to be up close and personal with a saber of any sort, trust me. Its why I use blasters.” A hand patted against her thigh, surprise spread across her face as she realized she had left it back with her baggage. The skintight fabric clung to her face and she sighed softly, “Well if I was in my normal attire, I’d be able to show you the fancy tricks I can do with my pistol.” A grin and she went back to work finishing off the welding work in front of her. Tilting her head, she looked back up towards Kaili. “You have something right? To protect you? I know you’re not one for violence, but what if something happens? I mean yeah you’re right I do pilot, but you don’t…”

Biting her lower lip again, but this time out of concern, she tilted her head back and forth. “I’d rather be at your side than piloting, so I might get more use out of this suit than you hope for. So I hope it’s the best thing you’ve ever created…” [member="Kaili Talith"]

It became Kaili’s turn to snicker as her partner tried to pat her blaster only to find her hand patting against her thigh instead. Allyson was not in her regular attire which suited Kaili just fine. She had a pretty good seat for a whole other show. Those shoulders rolled again as Allyson showed concern. Not that Kaili didn’t appreciate it, but it felt misplaced. Kaili was after all Kaili, the kid who was utterly convinced that she was invincible to some degree.

“Other than the force, you mean?” She grinned. “I’ve got my brother working on that, actually. He is conjuring up a suit of armor for me, something he claims will suit my need and so far I have no reason to doubt him on that. He’s quite good at what he does, I promise.”

“I know you want to be by my side, but you have a job and I have mine.” Kaili said in the hopes of grounding the conversation in the bitter reality. “You belong up there just as much as I do, if not even more so.”

The way that sentence had played out in her mind was widely different until Kaili remembered her oath as a Warden of the Sky. She had sworn to protect the hyperlanes, and one day she would do that. She had simply gone on a few months of unscheduled, indefinite vacation. She had the rest of her life to repay what she owed the innocents along the lanes. That was her solemn promise to herself.

“This armor is my way of being there with you, always.” She grabbed the nearby bracer and handed it over to the weldmaster. “That’s a comms device. No matter where you are, no matter what you do, you will always have a link to me. Any time, any day, any hour.”

“Borleias is safe, for now. I will always be here to pick up the calls.” Kaili discarded the armor piece and grabbed Allyson’s hand. “Always.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

A soft smile, one that only Kaili ever got to see, spread across Allyson’s face. The warmth of Kaili’s hand forced her to smile and to forget the disasters that were occurring in the galaxy they lived in. The Sith knocked so close to Borleias, they both knew the danger that the planet was facing. Yet, knowing that the other was there and within arm’s reach always seemed to make that danger just seem like a story, a fairy tale if you will. Allyson’s hand gripped Kaili’s tightly and she reassured herself and the other girl of their connection and facade of safety.

The armor was out of her hands and she rested the welding torch onto the work place. Slowly, she removed the goggles and placed them next to the torch. Adjusting herself, she stood and faced Kaili. There was nothing said between them, the understanding of each other reached a different plane and with that Allyson took a step forward to close any distance between them. Still a silent stare was shared and Allyson just accepted the peace between them, until she couldn’t bear it anymore. Leaning forward, she placed a gentle hand, fingertips caressing [member="Kaili Talith"]’s cheek, then her chin while she led her forward for a kiss.

Allyson couldn’t fight it anymore and she craved that reassurance, not with just words, but with the physical attention they gave each other. She knew the work on the armor needed to be complete, but she enjoyed the moment she shared briefly with her lover and Master. Pulling away, she unzipped the collar of the body suit and moved it slightly allowing some air to breath against her flesh. Looking back down at the work that needed to be done she smiled. “I understand that we both have places we need to be and that the Sith are literally knocking on Borleias’ doorstep, but right now just being near you is comforting.” Shrugging slightly she reached for another piece of armor, “I’m sure the comm works both ways, I’ll always have it with me - so in case something happens - I’ll do whatever it takes to come back, to be here…”

The smile that belonged to Kaili, spread once again across Allyson’s face, “I promised you know...to protect you and all that jazz...whatever it takes.” She picked up a piece of the armor and examined it, though instead of getting back to work, she slowly unzipped the body suit a bit further, for multiple reasons…

Of course.

Few things in life compared to the touch of the woman you loved. The touch of Allyson’s fingertips gently forced Kaili’s eyes to shut as in preparation for what would happen next. Their lips interlocked and the world stopped again. Each kiss was an otherworldly experience that Kaili wouldn’t trade for anything else in the galaxy. Allyson’s embrace was a comfort, a luxury that spoke of safety and care on so many more levels than just physical. She could remain like this forever had it not been for the bitter reality pulling both of them back. A soft sigh parted Kaili’s lips as they parted. Her eyes batted themselves open only to set themselves on the smile that she adored.

“I know.” Kaili hushed herself in a whisper. “I will always be able to reach you when I need you.”

They separated further, a longing gaze set upon Allyson’s hands as she reached out and grabbed the nearby armor piece again. Yet it diverted its course when Kaili had expected it to reach for the welding torch again. Instead it grabbed the zipper, pulled down to expose the flesh that the girl desired. She tried, but she failed. A quick hand grabbed the armor piece and placed it back at the worktable as she swiftly placed her lips against Allyson’s in a flurry of kisses. She wanted her and she wanted her now. The girl’s body shifted up and down against the fabric of the bodysuit as the moment grew wilder and wilder. Allyson drove Kaili mad in ways that no one else managed and what was worse was the fact that she knew that, used it to her advantage and turned Kaili into something she fought so hard to resist.

Their shoulders met, the bandaged shoulder dragged itself across the surface of Allyson’s bodyglove and with a sharp inhale, curved back and a cramped grip into the other woman’s shoulder Kaili knew she had messed up. It burned, bad.

“Fethinghellthat-” Her teeth gritted, the moment died.

The tensed back eased up, arms wrapped themselves around Allyson’s waist in comfort. Definitely not the comfort she had desired, but the one that was the closest that the Talith girl could afford.

“Maybe later.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson cursed silently as she could feel the strain from Kaili. The shoulder was being a bother and she did her best to try and fight the urge to beg for her to fight through it. Things with Kaili were so much different, the girl didn’t just think of herself when it came to the relationship. There was something more, something on a deeper level. Of course, she wanted Alec Rekali, but Alec would never be Kaili and she would never have a place in Allyson’s heart like Kaili does. There was just something different, something special and Allyson couldn’t let that go - she couldn’t lose it. The embrace was long enough to satisfy Allyson for the most part.

Still the body suit was getting warm and she did her best not to unzip it more. Despite her desire to torment the young Talith girl. Releasing the girl, she returned to grab the torch and the next pieces of armor. Moving it into place she paused and waited for her barrier to return around her, once Kaili got the notice, Allyson went straight to work. The welding torch came to life and Allyson continued to work. “Oh much later, I’ll have my way with you much much later. Just focus on getting your shoulder in working order” Smiling, she paused once again and looked towards the Talith.

“Because I know you [member="Kaili Talith"]...does this armor have your usual warranty?” Allyson raised her eyebrow and glanced towards the girl. Remembering what she had discovered when she was doing some work for Kaili because she was indeed the woman’s employee, she recognized some sort of “spyware” that was installed in everything that Kaili made. “Well Ms. Talith?”

“... No?” Shifty eyes. “I have no idea what you are talking about, Ms. Locke.”

Well, no, Kaili was very well aware of what Allyson was talking about. That, however, did not mean that she would ever admit to having installed spyware in any of her products. She liked that control, it meant that she could keep a close eye on the clients that she desired to keep tabs on, should she ever have a need for such things. Allyson went back to work and Kaili stood by the sidelines again and took her seat on a workbench right next to her. Part of her swore she could get used to this, just let Allyson do all the hard work and let the money from it roll in. Probably give the other woman a bigger share of the revenue than she already did. All things considered Allyson was a good employee.

Then again, all other things considered Allyson was already getting paid in plenty of other ways. Most of which Kaili was far too prude to mention out loud, should she have been asked about it. The girl looked at the Corellian, smug smile spreading on her lips and shoulders rolling.

“If the armor does it’s job you wouldn’t ever have to cash in on the warranty.” She winked. “I wouldn’t allow it.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson continued to weld together the parts of the armor, being particularly careful with the points that Kaili had pointed out. The reminder of the catastrophe that could happen if she did something wrong was buried in her subconscious. She wanted to not think about it, but it was hard, it was there and it was very real. Pressing her lips together she tried to not laugh while Kaili did her best to deny the fact that she puts spyware into everything she creates. The girl was nosey, she liked knowing what was going on with the droids and machines she created.

After Allyson finished with a piece that attached at the groin of the suit, she set it down on the bench and leaned against it. She gave the Master Technomancer a look that read, I know all your secrets girl. Shaking her head Allyson couldn’t help but give Kaili a chuckle. It was cute how she was trying to play coy about the spyware as if no one knew. Well no one did know, minus Allyson who at times did some of the work for the blonde especially when she passed out in the middle of working. Shrugging, Allyson pushed herself off the bench and headed towards a small data pad. “Well since you’re not going to just come out with it, I’ll show you what I’ve been working on.” Slipping a small drive into the data pad a string of code popped up. “This is what you’ve coded right? Now someone who’s smart who would go in and check their stuff would see it and eventually catch it. So what I’ve done, is mask it as simpler code that someone wouldn’t quickly recognize.”

Typing a few things in the code changed and read something basic for the droid or the equipment. Something simple as “turn on” or something along those lines. “I doubt you’ve been found out yet, mostly because I haven’t experienced anyone crashing down your door to demand a refund or anything.” Allyson offered the data pad and the information, looking quite proud of herself to her Master. [member="Kaili Talith"]

Oh boy. That wasn’t exactly what Kaili had expected, or wanted, but she would take it. Her head bobbed up and down as she concealed the panic. She knew she was lucky that time. Had it been literally anybody else she could have been in a whole heap of trouble, but not with Allyson. Kaili’d keep that in mind for the next version. The one that was modified on top of the modifications that had just been provided. Kaili grabbed the device and took a seat on the table while searching through the code. Skimming it, really.

“Good, uh,” Kaili stammered. “Good job.”

The welding torch hovered towards Allyson again. “Really good job.”

Kaili continued skimming through the code to check where the modifications were. The difference was always in the structure. What few ever realized was that coding was a highly individual activity, much like art. You could mimick, but even if you did you would create something with it that was your own. The name for your variables, the indentations and the flow in which you worked. External references and internal delegates, they were all designed from preset but arranged by the user.

“You touched up on the transmission process, I see.” Kaili skimmed through it again. “Your indentation is horrible.” She grinned and looked over at Allyson. “Properties always start with a capital letter.”

“Other than that, solid work.” Kaili lowered her voice, made it as gravel-like as she could. “... My apprentice.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson watched intently as Kaili judged her work. Of course Allyson was quite sure she had done a near perfect job, which would make sense since she had really brushed up on her coding when she had been taken in as Kaili’s apprentice and lover. The welding torch floated towards her and Allyson sighed. A part of her was jealous that Kaili could use the force in ways such as that. Life must have been so easy, to be able to lift heavy objects with the unknown entity. Either way, Allyson had grown to like her own affinity towards machines and the Force. She wasn’t able to lift anything with it, but she could read and download a ship in seconds.

Hopefully under Kaili’s tutelage...if they ever got that far would nurture what she had developed so far. Kaili continued to work through the code while Allyson busied herself in the continuing assembly of the armor. Sparks flew as she continued to listen to the praise from her Master. Said sparks quickly faded as Allyson set the gun down at the criticism. “What? What are you talking about, I started everything capitaliz--” Allyson stood up and hovered behind Kaili as she read the code. Sure enough she had failed to correct what she had meant to correct after she had written it all through.

Bad habit and Kaili was of course going to point it out. Allyson frowned, but soon realized her vantage point as she stood behind the blonde. A grin swept her face as she leaned forward and wrapped her arms around the blonde’s slender waist. Her lips drew closer and soon nipped at the tender earlobe of the Technomancer. A soft whisper brushed Kaili’s ear as Allyson spoke quietly as she tempted the younger girl, “So Master are you going to show me how to properly capitalize all my indentations?” [member="Kaili Talith"]

In the end indentation was a thing that really fell between the lines of personal opinion versus code standards. Following the standards was more optional than people made it out to be, but was usually adhered to because of the simple fact that it made things just a little more easier to follow and get into when the code was handed over to someone else. Thankfully this project was one of those that would never (hopefully, knock on wood) find its way into the hands of someone else. Kaili grinned at Allyson’s disappointment and turned around to return the loving embrace. She knew very well where her apprentice wanted to take this, you didn’t have to be a genius to figure that one out. She locked eyes with her lover and the grin thinned out into a faint smile. Inside of Kaili’s mind there was a debate going that was about as heated as the warmth between the two women’s bodies.

She knew where the day would lead. There was really no arguing that by the end of the day they would end up sharing more than just warmth, the only real question here was whether or not they would have anything to show for it. Kaili wanted to skip to the good part already, but she knew that if they didn’t do the work on the armor now there was a chance that she would be putting it on the sidelines and strive for the more ‘exciting’ alternative instead. It wasn’t the way to run a business, and right now that was what she needed to regard the armor as. She leaned up against Allyson’s cheek. Her lips planted themselves upon the Corellian’s cheek in a quick kiss. Her lips slid towards the other woman’s ear. A quiet, staggered inhale parted her lips.

“The faster you finish this armor, the quicker we can get to it.” Kaili perked her brows for a second and the sly grin returned. “Just this once, we need protection for what we want to do.”
For once Kaili didn’t grimace. Maybe because it wasn’t a particularly dirty talk, and maybe because in the end that was what usually made her recoil and feel like an idiot. Allyson would have to show her how, or rather why, people did that kind of thing at some point.

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Allyson felt the closeness and the regretted rejection. It made it easier knowing that Kaili was struggling with being an adult in this situation and making sure that Allyson stayed on task as the employee also as the student. Pulling away, she chuckled softly at the comment. Kaili was an odd one and when she tired to be dirty or something along those lines she never sounded as hot as she probably thought she did. Allyson shook her head and ran her hand through her own brown locks. “Well if that’s how you want to play, we’ll play.”

Parking herself back at the work bench she pulled a few tools towards her and rummaged to find the right parts to them. One of the powertools fired up and she began bolting the shoulder panels and the back together. Pausing, she pointed the gun towards Kaili, “No being disappointed when I’m utterly exhausted from doing all this work.” The tip of the drill waved back and forth as she spoke and a smirk followed. The Corellian pondered on faking being tired at the end of the day, mostly to see the false-god’s daughter squirm from anticipation.

Once a few more bolts were put in, the upper chest piece and the shoulders were finally finished - for the most part. Still in the body glove, Allyson stood and slung to the best of her ability the suit of armor and moved her arms. Feeling around, she found the straps that were attached to the metal pieces and pulled them gently, allowing the armor to snug itself around her frame. “Hmm it's a lot lighter than I expected.” Allyson continued to move her arms about and then paused.

“What metal did you use?” [member="Kaili Talith"]

“Yeah, well, I already have a session to repay you for.” Kaili said and flexed her brows repeatedly. “So, try to stay awake until then at least.”

In reality it was doubtful Kaili would have that kind of energy herself. Between her arm healing up and Allyson’s earlier show of skill it was fair to say that the girl was worn out. Perhaps she could ride on the promise of returning a favor, but it was highly doubtful that the girl would be much of a fighter for the next few days. Getting shot in the arm did that to you sometimes. Infections doubly so and in the end Kaili was just glad that there was no need for an amputation. As much as she was a fan of cybernetics it was not one of those things she wanted to install upon herself. At least not unless it was a design she had made herself.

“You are looking at a durasteel set-up treated with one of ATC’s ‘Plastiray’ sprays that’d protect the internal systems from EMP.” Kaili prodded hard against Allyson’s armored upper arm. “You will feel when things hit you, no doubt about that, but you won’t die.”

“WIth the internal motors you will also find that movement will seemingly take care of itself for you and lessen any potential falls that you stumble into.” Kaili snickered. “Like if a force user pushes you into a tree and you get hurt.”

“Because as fun as that might have been,” … Or not. “That is a luxury I would much rather reserve for myself.”

“... Not that I would actively seek to throw you into a tree.”

“... Again.”

[member="Allyson Locke"]

Ally stuck her tongue out at Kaili as she mentioned returning the favor, “I want the favor returned when you have use of both arms, makes things more exciting” She left the rest of what she was thinking alone and focused her mind on the equipment she was building in front of her. Rotating the armor she examined it after hearing what the material it was made out of. A small smirk formed at the corner of her mouth as she looked over at Kaili. “ATC? You favor them a lot? Any particular reason?”

The armor clanked down and she leaned back then folded her arms and sighed. They were almost done which was a good thing. She had finished welding everything and all that was left to put in were the pads that would make the armor comfortable and sit well on her shoulders. Returning her attention the armor she smirked and became proud of her accomplishments. Musing over this she put the torch down and continued to rotate the armor piece. “Looks pretty good. If I don’t say so myself.

Remembering the comment about being thrown into the tree, Allyson’s face dead panned and she stared at Kaili. The tree wasn’t the funnest part of that courting with [member="Kaili Talith"], but it was something that needed to be done, especially since it made Kaili realize that she cared about Allyson. A small smirk formed once again as she remarked, “Throw me in a tree again? You might find yourself tangled up in some sheets later.”

“Not really, I just haven’t found a solution to the EMP problem that was as good as the Plastiray spray.” Kaili shrugged as the armor came off and was placed on the workbench. Piece for piece was placed on the bench while Kaili ran another look along Allyson’s ‘handiwork.’ The master’s head began to slowly bob up and down in an appreciative nod. Allyson had a reason to be proud, it was good work. Hands wrapped around the edges of the armor and put it up closer for Kaili to observe the way the metal was knitted together, the mobility of the motorized joints and the overall design.

Allyson might have been proud of her work, Kaili was proud of the design she had made.

Kaili shook herself out of her moment and looked over at Allyson just in time to catch her retort to the tree incident. A quirked eyebrow later and Kaili placed the piece back with the others. She let on a quick exhale and a quick snort.

“That’s not much of a threat, Miss Locke.” Miss Talith whispered as she got closer. “It’s quite the opposite. Makes me wish there were more trees around.”

A sigh, a quick glance over at the table and then at the small space between them.

“I think the armor is done.” She said and took yet another step closer. “We can let the droids do the rest.”
