Kaili Talith
Forgotten, not gone.
“That’d be boring.” Kaili grinned before easing Allyson out of her lap. With a kiss she let the other woman’s back ease into the couch and with another they separated. “You are the most amazing smuggler I have ever met,” Also kind of the only one. Though Allyson could probably figure that one out herself. “If we just remained here on the couch we wouldn’t have much to talk about.”
The young Talith rested her cheek against Allyson’s chest. The sound of the Corellian’s heart brought a captivating sense of calm to her. It was like a rhythm that could soothe any worry and pain that life threw at Kaili. The near palpable, definite proof that Allyson Locke was still alive. Allyson took a breath, Kaili took another as if both bodies functioned in perfect sync. There was so much more the young woman would have wanted to say to describe how she felt about what the two of them shared, but all words were lost on her. For now she was just content with leaning on her rock amidst the storm and listen to the ways the winds was caught within.
The moment passed and Allyson was left without an answer as Kaili let herself bob back and forth for each breath her lover took.
“I’m fine.” She finally spoke as the world around her started to fade. “When I am with you, everything is better.”
Her eyes closed and the world faded in full until all that remained was Kaili and the soothing beat of Allyson’s heart.
“I could remain like this for the night though.” The girl muttered before passing out at long last.
And just this once, drool had nothing to do with it.
