Kaili Talith
Forgotten, not gone.
Love was lukewarm soup delivered at the right time.
“You’re so hot right now.” Kaili grinned as she fought against her closing eyelids. “And so am I,”
“... Literally.” Her head fell to her side and leaned against her shoulder. Bait brought soup, Kaili gave him a pat on his head before collapsing in the sofa again. As far as pains went Kaili was great, though to say the fever was messing with her would be an understatement. It brought out the worst in her, not even wonton could fix that. Yet nonetheless she grabbed her soup and raised the bowl to her lips and sipped.
“I’m sorry,” Kaili began before taking another sip. “I had this plan to make you that armor, but with my shoulder…”
“Yeah, it ain’t happening just yet.”
“Thanks for staying though. I know I will get on your nerves but…” Slow dramatic headshake. “I love you, you know that, right? I made the trip for you, to learn about the people you work for, and learn I did.”
