DESCRIPTION

The Atiniir-type Q-Carrier is the Mandalorian Empire's answer to the problem of fortified worlds and shield-protected strongholds. Where traditional troop transports are forced to land beyond shield lines or rely on prolonged orbital bombardment, the Atiniir-type was designed to ignore such limitations entirely. Based on the Meteor-class hull but extensively rebuilt by Aether Systems, the Atiniir-type trades weaponry and maneuverability for speed, armor, and unprecedented insertion capability. Its silhouette - angular, broad-jawed, and heavy-set - intentionally mirrors the ancient faces of the Taung, the legendary progenitors of Mandalorian culture, projecting both psychological intimidation and cultural reverence. At the heart of the design lies the Evasive-226-R field disruption system, which momentarily destabilizes energy barriers and allows the carrier to pass directly through active shields. This enables the ship to deliver troops into the heart of fortified cities, shielded military complexes, space stations, and capital ship hangars - zones previously immune to conventional deployment. Internally, the vessel functions as a flying barracks and armory, capable of carrying hundreds of fully equipped Mandalorians along with droids and heavy equipment. The ship is also capable of carrying light vehicles such as speeder bikes, light walkers, and light repulsorlifts. The integrated drop-seat bay allows warriors equipped with jetpacks to launch mid-flight, turning the carrier into a moving deployment platform rather than a traditional landing craft. When landing is required, the Atiniir-type descends at extreme velocity, striking the surface on four reinforced skids engineered to absorb catastrophic kinetic shock. These "impact landings" allow it to touch down under fire, deploy its cargo in seconds, and either hold position as a forward command post or withdraw immediately. In Mandalorian hands, the Atiniir-type is not a battleship. It is a spearhead delivery system - a vessel built to punch through shields, survive impossible fire, and place Mandalorian warriors exactly where the enemy is weakest and most unprepared.
