WEAKNESSES

Bulk & Weight - The AT-M15 is heavy and unwieldy, making it ill-suited for close-quarters combat, quick movement, or fast reaction shooting - it is best used from a fixed position.

Limited Rate of Fire - Single shots only - not ideal in close combat or against multiple fast-moving targets.

Power & Heat Constraints - Each blaster bolt - especially at high power - drains more from the power packs and gas canister, and sustained firing risks overheating.

Bolt Dissipation - Even with an optimized barrel, the blaster bolts emitted from the weapon gradually lose coherence over great distances; hitting small or mobile distant targets - especially if unstationary - becomes more difficult past the optimal range of this weapon, and accuracy and power may drop.

Logistics & Ammunition Load - The high-capacity gas canisters and power packs are heavier, bulkier, and may be harder to resupply compared to those utilized in a standard blaster rifle.

The AT-M15 uses high-quality galven circuitry and precision-ground focusing crystals to compress tibanna-energized plasma into a narrow, tightly stabilized bolt.
