Intent: To provide the Mandalorian Armed Forces and the open market with an incredibly intelligent and deadly droid capable of rivalling even clone commandos.
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: ArmTech Systems Inc.
Model: AT-1T
Affiliation: Mandalorian Armed Forces, Open Market to reviewed individuals.
Modularity: Yes, with a few extra credits the droid can be reprogrammed for Security or Assassin droid tasks, plus the color can be modified depending on the battle terrain or personal preference.
Production: Minor Production
Material: Titanium/Alusteel internal structure with Duraplast externals, flexible Armorweave on the forearms, palms of hands, kneecaps and elbows along with the neck, basically most joints and vital areas.
Description: The AT-1T is the first of its' type Commando Droid released by ArmTech, finding instant success with their FSX-30M Fire Support Droid, and decided to expand on the droid market with this.

The droid has Titanium/Alusteel internals designed for not only lightness but incredible durability for all its internals, along with a Duraplast "shell" to cover them and on some parts of its' construction it is equipped with a flexible armorweave on top, mostly on the joints and parts requiring the flexibility.

So its' construction is a wild blend of materials, which is interesting enough but that's not the juiciest part of this droid, what's really good is its' brain, equipped with multiple droid servos (more than 10, actually) it is capable of "learning" at an incredibly fast rate, the droid is programmed as standard to know how all ArmTech and Mandalorian weapons work, but by simply analysing it, any foreign weapon can be used, if it can be used by a Human, it can be used by AT-1T.

The same "Learning" program is also valid when it comes to battlefield experience, as it will continue to learn new things about its' enemies and surroundings, and also its' comrades. Allowing this droid commando to work just as well with the proud Mandalorian soldiers than with its own kin. So this is a droid when even straight out of the factory is incredibly powerful, but the more battles it partakes in, the smarter and more intuitive it gets. And using a "hivemind" system it broadcasts this information to other Commando Droids, so when one droid is progressing, all the others do slightly and it offers them much more insight on the enemy in battle.

The droid has Masculine programming and speaks in much the same way as Jango Fett does, only it sounds like his voice was coming from a laptop. This is so the droid doesn't seem TOO artificial and encourages co-operation and friendly relations with its Mandalorian comrades or indeed, other Humans or races. No one likes the annoying, tinny droid voices.

While it can "learn" it has no dedicated reparation or medical servos so don't try teaching it eye surgery or "how to repair a Star Destroyer 101", as it won't work, but if you need to teach it how to fight Jedi, it will learn. After all this is a droid which is supposed to attend meetings discussing battle plans, it has to keep up.

Due to it being a droid and with much tougher components, it is much stronger than the average human, capable of deadlifting 800 pounds, so needless to say in hand-to-hand combat this droid is absolutely deadly.

It can also run at a very impressive 31km/h and also with advanced hydraulic systems, can jump rather high and is capable of incredible athleticism.
Obviously as its' a droid it can survive in the vacuum of space and doesn't perceive pain, so that's not going to slow it down.

All the droid's limbs can rotate 360° degrees, including all fingers which have several extra joints for added dexterity.

The droid has several disadvantages, including its' obvious weakness to ion technology, while the droid is smart enough to try and avoid these dangers, its' still immensely effective at dispatching them even with all the Duraplast covering them.

What's also a disadvantage is their complexity and usage of multiple materials, making repairing a damaged Commando Droid absolute hell for your local repair droid or droid repairer, expect complaints especially for the armorweave and Alusteel

The droid, while waterproof has a tough time underwater due to its' immensely high density, it'll sink immediately. Same goes for bogs, it can't swim.

As said, the droid gets better with time, it won't be decorated Commando quality immediately, time must be spent on the battlefield or away teaching it.

We've got a super strong battle droid that's durable and even slightly resistant to boasters and lightsabers in it's joints, that can learn, and shoot electricity from it's hands. That's a lot for a mass produced battle droid without a dev thread that you could make armies out of.

The electruction arc is only upon contact there's no real range to it. And just how many of these could I produce per annum if it qualifies as "limited"?
In any case I edited.

Limited means not a whole army of theses. I'd say these would qualify as super battle droids in my opinion. Super tough, and amazing, but not compromising your entire army. Anyway, keeping it within that capacity I approve.

Pending approval.
