CORPORATION DESCRIPTION

As events across the galaxy continue to unfold and nothing remains the same forever, so too is that true of Corporations and their constantly tenuous futures. Astraeus Naval Ordnance was established following the recent reorganization of Von Sorenn Industries - maintaining many of its former facilities that were dedicated to the construction of Capital Vessels, specifically those on Fondor, Bestine IV, and Yag'Dhul. Operating from the massive Astraeus Space Station - utilizing the extensive Drydocks and Hangers there to continue manufacturing Capital Vessels and Smaller Craft - they also expanded to a singular additional location in the Outer Rim Territories, the planet Eos, as a means to secure the materials required to construct their vessels as well as utilize the region in the system as a testing field for vessels and naval ordnance. Much like its parent corporation - Astraeus Naval Ordnance is held to a strict standard of safety when it comes to its employees, while also adhering to a Confederacy First mentality in hiring - in which the company actively hires from the citizens of the Southern Systems first before considering applications of individuals from the greater Galaxy. Even still, the Corporation ensures that its employees are well taken care of - with many that reside on the Astraeus having a higher standard of living than many individuals on other planets or living on similar corporate-owned and controlled stations. Maintaining close ties with the government of the Confederacy of Independent Systems - and to an extent - it's Military; Astraeus Naval Ordnance has a propensity to decline outside contracts or offers from other Stellar Governments or Organizations in favor of providing exclusive production lines and manufacturing to the Southern Systems.

HISTORICAL AND GENERAL INFORMATION

With the recent reorganization of Von Sorenn Industries from a corporation that focused predominately on the production and manufacturing of Capital Vessels, Vehicles, and Repulsorcraft to a Parental Holding Corporation and Financial Institute - which coincided with the completion of Project Epsilon | The Astraeus - many of its former functions were reorganized as well rather than shuddering the holdings and locations as would be common. From this reorganization and reestablishment - the Astraeus Naval Ordnance corporation was founded to take up where Von Sorenn Industries had left off. The Corporation was directly founded on the orders of Amelia von Sorenn - the owner of the Parent Corporation, Von Sorenn Industries - with additional support provided to the small, fledgling corporation.
