SPECIAL FEATURES
- VT-Disruptor Lens: A feature that was added into his last lightsaber, Prazutis found it valuable and brought it over to his new pair. This device lets him cut through any organic matter that has a power gland, exclusively found in Yuuzhan Vong.
- Bifurcating Cyclical-ignition Pulse: This unique device found use in Darth Prazutis's first set of lightsabers. He wisely chose to incorporate it into his new pair allowing them to be used while submerged in water.
- Curved-Hilt Design: This was a design choice of the original wielder Darth Vitium who was a renowned master of Makashi. The curved hilt design also augments the chosen fighting style of Djem-So allowing him to capitalize on the power of overhand strikes, as well as the chance of unbalancing his opponent due to the slight shift in the angle of his attacks. It was kept by Prazutis due to how it augmented his fighting style.
- Qixoni Crystal: These rare crystals were carefully chosen by Prazutis for their unique properties. They augment the wielders force abilities by making dark side abilities less taxing to use on the wielder. The natural Qixoni also created a stronger blade. The crystals create a dark red blade.
- Yuuzhan Vong Begone: The VT-Disruptor Lens means these blades have no problem cutting through Yuuzhan Vong biots or anything with a power gland.
- Waterproof: The lightsabers work while submerged in water.
- Qixoni Crystals: They enhance the wielders dark side abilities making them less taxing to use.
- Not Lightsaber Resistant: The hilts of the blades are not lightsaber resistant meaning that if struck directly or indirectly, it will suffer damage and potential destruction.
- No Hiding: The unique properties of the lightsaber crystals mean that as long as the wielder carries them on his person, even if he hides his own force presence they will still project their own.
- Force Nullification: Any force suppressants such as void stone, ysalamiri, etc suppress and shut down the force enhancing capabilities of the Qixoni crystals.
The story of these blades began with the return of the infamous Sith Lady Silara Kuhn also known as Darth Vitium from death. She hastily constructed them from within her stronghold at Khar Shian with what was necessary, there were little design changes beyond the curved hilt design making them relatively plain. In her hands they sowed death in the Storm's wake across many battlefields.
Until one dark day on Khar Shian.
The Lord of the Sith Darth Prazutis arrived challenging her in front of the entire Sith Order. The Dark Titan even brought out and executed the Kuhn Matriarch's own daughter Lisette Kuhn baiting her into an intense duel. But Darth Vitium was unfocused grief distracting her normally centered mind and she made one mistake, and that was enough. Prazutis capitalized killing the Kuhn matriarch and taking her soul in the process ensuring her ultimate demise.
When the battle was over the Sith Lord took the fallen woman's lightsabers as trophies along with her castle. To the victor go the spoils. These blades first were trophies to adorn his mantle, but a dark idea took root in his mind. He took the blades as well as his own lightsabers and took them all apart to create an entirely new set of blades with Darth Vitium's being the base. Many of the features found in his original blades were brought over into this new pair, but there were changes. Instead of a synthetic crystal Prazutis decided to use Qixoni Crystals. When the pair were finally completed the new design of black and gold made these blades virtually unrecognizable from what they once were.
The creator of these blades held up his new creations and in true Sith fashion gave them a name: Asmenys iv tave Gimti, the Blades of the Fallen.
