Ashiin Carde Varanin is a clone of Ashin Varanin, the Sith Empress. She was created without flash-learning beyond the standard package -- Basic, arithmetic, dressing oneself, and hygiene. She was created on Kamino by Kaminoan cloners under the aegis of the rogue Jedi Master Je'gan Olra'en (Varanin's grandfather) and the rogue Sith Master Velok. After Varanin was made aware of her clone's existence, but before she could be claimed, the Confederacy of Independent Systems raided the clone facility, and Ashiin was awakened.
