Strengths & Weaknesses

(+) Voidwalker:
The Voidwalkers are the last of the Force-Sensitive Zhornee. Recent events on Vullain have nearly eliminated this subrace from the population, with the royal bloodline considered the strongest of these few remaining vestiges. Ashaiya has a natural and strong connection to the Force.

(+) Swordswoman: Ashaiya is good with a sword. She was trained since she was young, and can wield it effectively.

(-) Snow Native: She comes from a world that is made of ice and snow. She does not do well in high temperatures.

(-) Xenophobe: Ashaiya has not yet accepted that aliens are equal to Zhornee. She is willing to work with them, but there is a level of standoffishness that is ever present.

Personality

Ashaiya Mar'Dikan is the last of the Mar'Dikans, the royal bloodline of Vullain. When she dies, the Empire dies. She takes this responsibility seriously, and it shows in her personality. She is deadly serious and cold at all times, with little humor in her. She does not understand jokes or humor at all, and hardly laughs. She is determined to become the best possible leader for her people, and will allow nothing to come between her and that goal.

Biography
For 1,000 years, the Mar'Dikans have ruled the Zhornee people. Claiming the title of Empress, and the Chosen of the Goddess of the Snow, they have led the Zhornee through thick and thin. For 1,000 years, Vullain was plagued by disease, war, and disaster, but the Mar'Dikans weathered it all. Until the One Sith came, that is. The One Sith came to Vullain and conquered, giving the planet the order and peace it needed with blaster, lightsaber, and starship. The Mar'Dikans were established as puppets, and the title of Empress meant nothing.
Then the One Sith went away as well, and chaos reigned once more.
Ashaiya Mar'Dikan was fifteen when the One Sith collapsed, leaving the snowy world to fend for itself. Her parents, cousins to the current Empress, were killed in the ensuing chaos as the power vacuum left by the Sith destroyed the Empire. She lived at the Empress' Palace as one of her guard, a Holy Crusader. Until the Empress died as well, six months ago, with no living relatives; except Ashaiya.
Ashaiya claimed the Snow Throne, and looked out upon her world, and her people. She knew she could not help them, she did know how to rule, how to fight, how to project strength. She remembered the Sith, and longed for their touch once more, their assistance. Until a trader came to the world with news: The rise of the Sith Empire.
Ashaiya had to make a decision, a controversial one. She left Vullain, a regent ruling in her stead, to join the Sith Empire, and become better, stronger. She could not help her people, and the Sith had no intention of coming to them. So she would have to go to them.
