DESCRIPTION

Directly after the death of Emperor Rurik Fel during the Shatterpoint Event on Tython; Aschwin Vethres based his new curved lightsaber off of the one wielded by Count Dooku of Serenno because of his makashi mastery and better control using the fluid like motions to parry and deflect blows instead of trying to meet them head on where the form lacked strength. Although Aschwin himself has been trained in the templar class of the Imperial Knights which allow him to compensate for this weakness with immense physical training to match even the most powerful of jedi and sith who would harm the Empire. The curved lightsaber has many modifications upon it to allow it to serve as a noble weapon; such as being able to work under the water and being unharmed by cortosis due to not having a certain circuit. Although the weapon's multiple krystals can overload the power causing it to shut down temporarily which leaves its user vulnerable to being attacked. The deflection emitter is also more suitable for a form III user and not Form II that the user is. The curved nature of the lightsaber also means that it has less overall power behind each strike compared to a traditional blade.
