DESCRIPTION
The Ascania Medal of Altrusim was created as a token of appreciation to those who answered Ukatis' call for aid in the aftermath of the Mandalorian Enclave's invasion of the planet. Comprised of a platinum base, House Ascania's crest is beveled into the surface and inlaid with shells harvested from Illumeni oysters. Only found in a few bodies of water on Ukatis, these rare mollusks are prized for their highly iridescent shells, which are used to create jewelry and ornamentation for Ukatian aristocrats.

This medal was awarded to both offworlders who made contributions to the relief fund through donations or labor, and Ukatian civilians who played a part in the planet's restoration.
