- Large: Aryn is very obviously quite large, his sword matches that size quite well. The blade is nearly two meters long, it weighs more then most small children, and in general it's all around quite massive. The sword's strength inherently lies within this mass and Aryn's ability to move it. Since he is stronger then pretty much any human, even those who enhance themselves with the force, Aryn is capable of easily moving the bulk of his weapon with simple flicks and movements of his wrists. This immense weight being hefted and moved to swiftly can obviously cause a massive amount of damage. By sheer force of strength and momentum Aryn's blade can slice through entire limbs, and even when stopped by armor the weapon is large and heavy enough to cause serious kinetic damage simply from impact.
- Low Quality Steel: In the end, Aryn's sword is just a sword. There is nothing special about the blade. It is not enchanted with the Force, it is not a vibroblade, and it isn't even made of Beskar or any other special material, in fact the blade is made of what most would call incredibly poor quality Durasteel. Forged from a metal spike that had once been a fence-post surrounding the Death Camps on Togoria the blade itself is not very hardy. There are dozens of nicks, and small blunted portions of the blade that were created from natural wear and tear. The blade could easily be broken with enough force, and probably has been before only to later be repaired.
Aryn's sword is not legendary, it's not special, and really it's not even very good.
The blade was crafted from a fence post that Aryn took with him from the Death Camps of Togoria. When the aged Togorian made his escape from the Camps he was met with steep resistance from the guards. Though he used his own maw, claws, and raw strength Aryn eventually had to resort to more refined needs. He tore one of the fence posts from the ground, using the massive hunk of steel to smash through row upon row of guards, impaling several men upon it until eventually he managed to brute force his way free of the cordoned off area.
As he wandered through the ruined plains of Togoria Aryn kept this piece of metal, whether for it was for his own defense or some kind of misguided attachment he didn't know. When Sera Spar found him the post was the only thing that she found the Togorian with. When he was dragged aboard the Clan Chiefs ship he took the post with, keeping the metal hunk even then.
Eventually as Aryn took his place within Clan Spar he became more and enamored with the odd weapon he had taken for himself. As his training in the ways of combat began, and as he donned the Beskar armor given to him by Sera he felt a need to craft the spike into something slightly more refined. He took the hunk of metal to a nearby blacksmith upon Concordia, asking for the man to craft him a weapon. Although the man protested heavily due to the spikes poor quality, he eventually complied with Aryn's request.
The blade was crafted, honed, and eventually bloodied. Aryn carrying it into combat at all times.
