Made by Wookiees for centuries, Arri’arra or “Strong-Hide” is a common choice fabric for those who seek lives of adventure and danger. Resistant to energy weapons, plasma and lightsaber-type weapons, kinetic damage of every kind, and environmental dangers, the reddish-brown material can be woven into garments, designed to give wearers a great deal of piece of mind. It does not protect or shield wearers from the awesome abilities of Force-users or the natural abilities of some species such as telepathy, but it makes for comfortable clothing well-suited for adventurers. VisTech has contracted Dagata’s Wookiee population to make the cloth for them, and limited amounts are created annually and used in some of VisTech’s more sought-after clothing.
