OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Arquti-siqsa - High Sith for Inferno Demon
  • Designation: Non-sentient
  • Origins: Amaltanna
  • Average Lifespan: Because they are summoned forth from the obsidian anchor, they can exist in the world for as long as their anchor remains intact. When awakened, they can remain summoned for several days before the animating spell ends and they once become dormant within their anchor.
  • Estimated Population: Planetary
  • Description: Arquit-siqsa are large fiery monsters that retain the shape of the dreaded terentatek they originally were, but now formed from obsidian and bright flames that flare with their anger. The creatures are every bit as dangerous as their original forms, perhaps even more so
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: As they are made of fire and obsidian, they do not need to breathe and can survive in any environment that has fuel for their flames
  • Average Height of Adults: 3.5 meters
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A
  • Skin color: While they technically have no skin, the flames are generally the hues of red, orange, and yellow while the physical aspects of the create are formed from alchemized obsidian.
  • Hair color: No hair
  • Distinctions: While all the creatures have the same general shape of the terentatek, the summoner can modify the appearance based on the obsidian anchor they used for the summoning spell. That can include additional horns or spikes, fangs, etc. to the summoner's preference. The summoner can also alter the color of the flames of the Arquti-siqsa, but this would require additional Sith sorcery to accomplish.
  • Races: No other races
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Sensitive
Strengths:
  • Arquti-siqsa can manipulate the flames that form their bodies, incorporating them into attacks and spreading it with a breath attack or even flaring its form to light an area on fire. The flames are incredibly hot and can quickly burn unprotected organic matter to ash in seconds.
  • Arquti-siqsa, due to being formed out of the alchemized obsidian anchor or totem used in their ritual, have an increased resistance to attacks. Blaster, slugthrowers, and other small arms weapons won't do much damage, if anything, while physical attacks like with a melee weapon or claws/teeth will do nothing. Normal lightsabers will take several cuts to go through it, although those powered by Solari Crystals will cut through the obsidian like butter.
  • Arquti-siqsa, based on inspiration from their previous form and through the use of Sith alchemy in the anchor totem, are resistant to Force Powers outside of abilities that stem from Force Light or manipulating water with Alter Environment.
Weaknesses:
  • If the obsidian anchor used in the summoning ritual is destroyed, typically through Force Light or a similarly Light Side imbued weapon, the fiery monster is destroyed forever.
  • Large amounts and bodies of water can douse their bodies, resulting in the creatures being rendered immediately dormant for several hours.
  • If exposed to vacuum or another environment that has no atmosphere, the fires of the creature will immediately go out and force the creature into dormancy until the anchor totem is removed from the negative environment.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Because they are a being of fire and alchemized obsidian, they do not require any normal sustenance. However, they do require an atmosphere that can fuel a fire is present.
  • Communication: Roars, and they can understand spoken or telepathic commands given by their summoner in any language the summoner knows
  • Technology level: No technology level
  • Religion/Beliefs: No religion or belief system
  • General behavior: Unless summoned out of their anchor totem, Arquti-siqsa are generally in a state of dormancy and appear as decoration to the untrained or uneducated eye in Sith runes and rituals. However, when they are summoned, they are the fiery wrath and bloodlust of the fused terentatek and living fire spirit. They are completely loyal to their summoner/creator, obeying their every command and attacking anything that their master deems a threat or that is attempting to hinder their master. If left to their own devices when summoned, such as when on the battlefield and they can't be micromanaged, they have a tendency to act like a wildfire, desiring nothing more than to burn and destroy anything in their path.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

With the proliferation of the Drengir as evidenced by their hunting of Ashin Cardé Varanin Ashin Cardé Varanin that was brought to light to Darth Arcanix from some of her agents, she began to turn some thoughts towards creating some more weapons to use against the plant monsters. Reading the reports from Svolten, and resting from the battles on Kesh to liberate it from the Bryn'adul, she sent a message to her followers on Amaltanna to begin some basic preparations for an idea she had.

Once she returned to the world, she began her experimental fusion of Sith magic, alchemy, and Dathomiri magick. Her Adepts had harvested obsidian from Upekzar and brought it to the world, shaping it into the shape of the skull of a terentatek and performing Sith alchemy to enhance the resistances of the skull to damage, while capturing several of the creatures themselves for the experiments. Using her command of sorcery, Arcanix summoned several orbs of living fire into existence and then, using her knowledge of Dathomiri magic and spirits, she sundered the ur-spirit of the Terentateks from their physical bodies. The angry red spirits of the Sithspawn, torn from the spirit realm, were fused through several incantations of Sith magic with the living fire before the combined entity was bound within the obsidian skull through Sith runes.

With one more spell, the new fire monster burst from the obsidian skulls, flames forming into the shape of their previous existence. Not entirely happy yet, Arcanix did a few alterations to the summoning and binding rituals so that when the creatures were summoned, a few bits would break off from the skull to form the claws and a few other physical aspects of the creature.
