PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Clothing
  • Weight: Very Light
  • Resistances:
    • Energy: High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Low
    • EMP/ION: Low
    • Environmental: High
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Anti-Shank Cloth provides protection against kinetic force and energy weapons.
  • Duraflex Fabric provides environmental protection as well as regulating body temperature.
STRENGTHS
  • Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this cloak is very durable against blaster fire, able to withstand even direct hits.
  • Sleeps With Vibroblades: The cloak boasts exceptional defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades. The faster the sharp object is moving, the stronger the cloth will be against it. It also has shock absorption.
  • Protection From the Elements: The duraflex fabric used in the inner lining of the cloak provides protection from environmental factors and has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged. In addition, it features technology that regulates the wearer's body temperature so that they are never too warm or too cold.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightsabers and Ion: The cloak has no real durability against lightsabers and EMP/ION. The prevailing wisdom of this is that, as a Jedi, if you can't block your opponent's lightsaber or grind Sith lightning, you're doing something wrong and your cloak can't save you anyway.
  • Mere Clothing: While the fabric is quite durable, this is still only clothing and should not be considered on par with armor.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Gothic Silk special features
  • Outfit includes a gold choker necklace designed by Thelma to match the pattern of the blouse, creating a lengthened and unified silhouette
STRENGTHS
  • Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this outfit is very durable against blaster fire, able to withstand even direct hits.
  • Sleeps With Vibroblades: The outfit boasts exceptional defense against blows from weapons such as vibroblades and lightsabers.
  • Like Water Off a Duck's Back: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when wet. In addition, it features technology that regulates the wearer's body temperature so that they are never too warm or too cold.
  • Self-Repairing: The fabric can repair itself over time, though some of the decoration/embellishment may be lost in the process.
WEAKNESSES
  • Disrupters, Ion, and Vacuum: The fabric lacks durability against disrupters, EMP/ION, and vacuum.
  • Requires Connection to the Force: For the imbued effects to function within it the material needs to be able to feel the Force energies around it. Vong tech, yalisimiri, voidstone, and dampening fields are all counter to what the material can handle.
  • Self-Repairing: The process of repairing itself can take hours to days depending on the level of damage sustained.
  • Mere Clothing: While the list of resistances may look long and robust, keep in mind that this is not armor and should not be treated as such. It is not designed to protect the person wearing it from harm so much as it is designed to preserve the clothing itself against damage. You could be lying on the floor dying from your wounds, but at least your drip will still be immaculate.
DESCRIPTION

Thelma was commissioned to create this outfit by Efret Farr, who requested a more elaborate version of her usual plain black saree. As she was unfamiliar with the techniques used in making this type of garment, the project required extra research. The resulting ensemble is an elegant and glamorous take on another culture's traditional wear. The blouse covering the upper body is made from raw unstitched Gothic Silk featuring gold gota work. The saree features Gothic Silk in a georgette weave, embellished with a gold foil print depicting vases - a motif symbolizing abundance and prosperity. The border of the saree is likewise decorated with gold and tiny mirrors sewn into the fabric to add reflective sparkle. Finally, small black tassels trail from the embroidered corners of the cloth.

DESCRIPTION

Isolda's sense of practicality and protection is still present in her starlight-inspired wedding dress, which is the most elaborate piece of clothing she will ever own or wear. Constructed from light gray Kytrand silk in a gauzy weave, the gown is simple and modest, with long sleeves and a high collar decorated with three diamond beads around a six pointed silver star. Over the dress she wears a fitted breastplate made from phrik alloy. The armor is decorated with gold accents, but it is far from decorative; it provides ample protection to the vulnerable heart and other organs. In place of a veil she wears an intricately woven cowl made from a fabric reminiscent of a spider's web, held in place by a silver circlet inlaid with a single large diamond. An overdress made from the same fabric hangs from the shoulders and waist, providing a buffer between the breastplate and gown and trailing elegantly behind her when she moves.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Necropolitan traditional betrothal cloak and wedding dress
  • Durable and protects the wearer
  • Force-imbued?
STRENGTHS
  • Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this cloak is exceptionally durable against blaster fire in particular, able to withstand even direct hits. It is not indestructible, however—one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting is still to run for cover.
  • Sleeps With Vibroblades: The cloak also boasts some defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades, albeit to a lesser extent than energy. It could probably withstand a glancing blow, but a direct hit would be pushing it.
  • Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
  • Fireproof: The cloak is resistant to fire damage.
WEAKNESSES
  • Ionic: The cloak has no protection against Ion energy. Stay away from lightning while wearing it.
  • Lightsabers: The cloak has no real durability against lightsabers.
  • Revealing: The cloak leaves a fair amount of bare skin exposed. Anywhere that isn't covered up will remain unprotected.
  • Force Voids: Any Force-voiding material or substance will render the blessing inert until it is removed from the vicinity.
DESCRIPTION
A certain customer commissioned Thelma to create a wedding outfit, including a custom betrothal cloak, a type of garment which fulfills a similar role to an engagement ring. It is gifted to one's beloved, serving as a marriage proposal and symbolizing the giver placing the receiver under their protection.

Thelma eagerly got to work on an elaborate design tailored to the customer's specifications. The result is one of her favorite creations: a white satin wedding gown and cloak made from an ultra lightweight material covered in tiny iridescent jewels that sparkle in the light. The cloak is connected to the hood by a very narrow strip of cloth at the back of the neck; two strings of beads drape over the shoulders, which are left bare, joined by a delicate filigree silver clasp. A single drop pearl hangs from the front clasp, the final elegant touch of a spectacular piece.
