PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Clothing
  • Weight: Very Light
  • Resistances:
    • Energy: High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Low
    • EMP/ION: Low
    • Environmental: High
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Anti-Shank Cloth provides protection against kinetic force and energy weapons.
  • Duraflex Fabric provides environmental protection as well as regulating body temperature.
STRENGTHS
  • Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this cloak is very durable against blaster fire, able to withstand even direct hits.
  • Sleeps With Vibroblades: The cloak boasts exceptional defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades. The faster the sharp object is moving, the stronger the cloth will be against it. It also has shock absorption.
  • Protection From the Elements: The duraflex fabric used in the inner lining of the cloak provides protection from environmental factors and has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged. In addition, it features technology that regulates the wearer's body temperature so that they are never too warm or too cold.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lightsabers and Ion: The cloak has no real durability against lightsabers and EMP/ION. The prevailing wisdom of this is that, as a Jedi, if you can't block your opponent's lightsaber or grind Sith lightning, you're doing something wrong and your cloak can't save you anyway.
  • Mere Clothing: While the fabric is quite durable, this is still only clothing and should not be considered on par with armor.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Durable and protects the wearer
  • Force-imbued?
STRENGTHS
  • Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this cloak is exceptionally durable against blaster fire in particular, able to withstand even direct hits. It is not indestructible, however—one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting is still to run for cover.
  • Sleeps With Vibroblades: The cloak also boasts some defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades, albeit to a lesser extent than energy. It could probably withstand a glancing blow, but a direct hit would be pushing it.
  • Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
  • Fireproof: The cloak is resistant to fire damage.
WEAKNESSES
  • Ionic: The cloak has no protection against Ion energy. Stay away from lightning while wearing it.
  • Lightsabers: The cloak has no real durability against lightsabers.
  • Revealing: The cloak leaves a fair amount of bare skin exposed. Anywhere that isn't covered up will remain unprotected.
  • Force Voids: Any Force-voiding material or substance will render the blessing inert until it is removed from the vicinity.
DESCRIPTION
A certain customer commissioned Thelma to create a wedding outfit, including a custom betrothal cloak, a type of garment which fulfills a similar role to an engagement ring. It is gifted to one's beloved, serving as a marriage proposal and symbolizing the giver placing the receiver under their protection.

Thelma eagerly got to work on an elaborate design tailored to the customer's specifications. The result is one of her favorite creations: a white satin wedding gown and cloak made from an ultra lightweight material covered in tiny iridescent jewels that sparkle in the light. The cloak is connected to the hood by a very narrow strip of cloth at the back of the neck; two strings of beads drape over the shoulders, which are left bare, joined by a delicate filigree silver clasp. A single drop pearl hangs from the front clasp, the final elegant touch of a spectacular piece.
