SPECIAL FEATURES
- Simple: This armor has no tech. It’s simply made up of leather and highly resistant chitin plating.
- High Modularity: Essentially, this armor is a husk. No internal functions or technology within. However, there is room within to install these things. The armor has been left bare so that the user may customize it to their liking. The user may even take the plating and apply it to another armor if they wish.
- Lightsaber Resistance: Naturally, due to being made from a mandalorian wyrm, this armor is resistant to lightsabers thanks to the chitin plates
- Durable Yet Light: Despite being chitin from an organic creature, the plates that cover this armor are as durable as beskar, yet much lighter due to their organic nature.
- Warm: While not resilient to cryo, the armor does provide warmth when in cold environments due to the leather it’s made from being able to keep in the body heat.
- Just Armor: Out of the box, it’s just armor, a completely empty husk meant to be upgraded or used in other armor sets. Wearing just this armor alone is not recommended.
Following the wyrm hunt, Talohn had no shortage of chitin to make use of. Thus, he got to work carving it into sets of armor for those who were brave enough to join the hunt. To make these sets, he made use of ancient catharese armor techniques, as his people often made armor from the rough chitin of the kiltik. Each armor piece had to be carved into the proper shape in order to function properly, making these sets quite the achievement of craftsmanship.
