Arming the Det. (Clan Ordo and Firemane)

@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] @[member="Tegaea Alcori"] @[member="Anija Ordo"] @Anyone in Firemane @Clan Ordo

KAESHANA
FIREMANE OFFICES.

Ordo walked towars the offices his Heavy suit of Black Beskar'gam was a stark contrast the the elegance of the native peoples. The Clan, rank and symbols signifying his various engagements stood out brightly in Orange paint. He carried his black beskad and Mandalorian Ripper as was his custom and his battered leather wrapped light saber sat at the small of his back. His new Fett Kal blade was sheath in his chest H-harness. It was all just custom. He was here for business nothing more. Firemane was a top arms producer and his clan was preparing for war.

His gray-green eyes scanned the area as he entered the lobby. They hopefully still expected him. He pulled off his helmet and held it in one hand as he approached the reception desk.

"Allit'buir Ordo to see Mrs. Alcori, please." He said in his deep resonating voice. Now just to wait.

To say that @[member="Ordo"] was a bit intimidating was an understatement. The full armour, blade, weapons, insignia, not the mention the Mandalorian’s presence was miles apart from the slight Eldorai he passed. To the more conservative Eldorai females he was a grim reminder that just maybe males could do their own thing. To the more liberal Eldorai of both genders he was an object of considerable admiration.

At the reception desk the secretary stared at him for a moment before keying her communicator.
“Lady Alcori, there is a Mr Ordo here to see you,” she said. She didn’t even try to pronounce his title.
“Show him in, Keysa,” Tegaea replied.
Keysa stood and gestured Ordo to follow her to an ornate meeting room overlooking the distant white city of Kaeshana.
Tegaea rose and extended a hand to the Mandalorian. “Welcome to Kaeshana, Allit'buir Ordo,” she said, probably mangling the pronunciation. “This is my wife @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"].”

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="Ordo"]

Siobhan Kerrigan, Butcher of Roche and Gehenna, slaughterer of Reavers, card-carrying femnazi and all-around Eldorai fangirl, was obviously not intimidated. She might be dressed beautifully as an elegant businesswoman and enjoy the high life, but the vicious scars on her face showed just how she had gotten to the position she now occupied. Along with the general force aura of what was pretty much a barely tamed predator on a leash. Even if said predator had spent more time than should be allowed debating the very important question which colour nail polish matched her eyes.

A lightsabre dangled at the side of her suit. Obviously beskar and the beskad were very resistant to that, as she well knew, but then her standard method for a fight consisted of the use of super telekinesis. Of the throw someone through a wall variety. With enough power to throw a tank with her mind - hence her being called a battering ram.

She did not like people showing up fully armed in her wife's presence. It was nothing personal - she had no reason to have a personal problem with Mandalorians, the fact that they had spent the last couple years bashing Sith skulls endeared them to her - just the simple protectiveness of a spouse. But Tegaea was being friendly and they wanted to do business.

"A pleasure meeting you, Field Marshal," she spoke friendly, trying to neatly sidestep the fact that in all likelihood she would get the pronounciation wrong by using his rank. Languages were not her strongest point after all. It occurs to this writer that technically they had already met back at the Temple when friends were gathering to help Coryth. Or had that already happened? The thread was ongoing after all. As usual a potential rift in the space-time continuum shall be avoided with handwavium!

Considering the fact that Siobhan had made a life out of fighting Sith and darkside cultists it was ironic that her paths had crossed so little with Mandalorians given their series of wars with the Empire, though she had fought alongside Mia Monroe on a number of Rebel missions. Back when she had been Exarch the Protectorate had sent military aid to help them during the Sith invasion of Yaga Minor, partly at her insistence.

Unfortunately it had not sufficed, however the balance of power had shifted dramatically. The Empire had fallen like a house of cards, and the Mandalorians were one of those profiting from the scramble for the rim.

Anija wasn't far behind Ordo, her own buy'ce clipped to her waist. While she didn't personally know these people, she got the feeling buir knew them well. So she was willing to extend a little trust on his behalf. She was finding herself to be less of the "Let's kill them!" type, and more of the type to want to discuss something until a solution was found. That was why she'd volunteered for the Sereanno mission. She still wasn't quite sure what the outcome of that would be yet. It had certainly been... interesting.

She looked around the room for a moment, merely observing. She could feel the barely-restrained desire to protect from@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"], and while she understood it, the feeling gave her chills. She'd never felt it in such a...ferocious form before. Yanking her focus back to the present, she hung back slightly, and let Ordo take the lead, as this was his meeting. She was here for support - or backup if needed.

Ordo nodded to Siobhan, who his writer thought Ordo probably knew but didn't feel like doing the math or over thinkinf the issue, and offered a hand to both. His bid frame made bigger by the layer of beskar'gam was less heavily armed than he may have been at other times but he had a very brief moment where he thought he should have scaled back. He turned to his adopted daughter.

"This is my daughter Anija." He said by way of introduction. "She's here to help me keep my feet our of my mouth."

His idea of business was always use manners and tell it like it was but sometimes he tended to do more of the later and less of the former.

"I wanted to talk to you about your products." He began simply, "I have heard a lot aboit your bolters, but I'm interested in what else you have."

Tegaea cordially greeted both the Mandalorians. She had heard about Anija before, and of course the leader of Clan Ordo too. Both were respected warriors and extremely skilled as well.
"A pleasure to meet you both," she said warmly.
"The bolter is a remarkable weapon, and I think it would be perfect for your warriors. I'm sure you know or have heard of all the technical details, but did you want to try them out? We have a firing range under this office where we test out new munitions. We'd be happy to demonstrate and let you test them, or any of our other weapons. We also have some other products that might interest you such as Anti-Force user grenades, the Manticore and Typhoon support units and the Reaver class battle tank. We also have a walker. Now I know you have your own tanks and artillery pieces, but these do have some unique features you might find useful. My wife will also discuss some 'special' items we obtained from the Sith before they collapsed."

[SIZE=10pt]@[member="Anija Ordo"], @[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="Ordo"][/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]"The Typhoon is a self-propelled, multiple rocket launcher designed to act as a grid square remover and supporting a variety of munition types. The Manticore is a heavy support vehicle intended to act as an armour buster from afar through the use of twin rail guns. The Reaver is our newest product and intended as an assault tank - equipped with a mass driver cannon to destroy armour, repeaters and a flamethrower for anti-infantry use," Siobhan elaborated further. She was lacking in business savvy, but she seemed to relax and brighten when it came to talking about weapons, but then the girl liked her big guns. The Typhoon had first been tested during the battle of Gehenna, where it had bombarded the armies of the Bando Gora and Reavers during their last stand against the Protectorate, paving the way for the army she had then commanded as Exarch. The Reaver-class was named after the ferocious monsters that had been the warrior-fanatics of the dark Cult.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]"As for the special items, we have a stockpile of Gorgon web rifles designed as a way to incapacitate and capture force-users by spraying a mist-net like solution and deploying an electrical charge able to immobilise the average person or animal. Likewise we have metal-eating insect grenades that upon contact release parasites that systematically eat through armour, weapons, anything metal. We can also offer anti-personnel electro-magnetic mines that upon triggered release a powerful electro-magnet that can immobilise infantry wearing heavy metallic armour, wreck havoc and fry any sort of electronic systems such as droids."[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]These devices, which were limited edition presently, and some other toys had been acquired during a raid on a secret Sith research facility by the now defunct Rebel Alliance, with which Siobhan had at the time been affiliated. Suffice to say that being a telekinesis master quite comfortable with levitating plenty of heavy crates filled with toys had come in handy during the shopping trip. "In addition we have a very limited number of Sith chainswords that are resistant to lightsabres and can absorb blasts of force lightning."[/SIZE]

Anija listened closely as @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] described each of the weapons. She found herself untouched and wanting to know more about a few of them. She wasn't well versed in some of the larger things like tanks, but small arms she knew well. The bolter sounded interesting, And she was curious to give it a try on the range. "I'd like to test the bolter," she said after a moment, trading a look with @[member="Ordo"].

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"] @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] @[member="Anija Ordo"] ((sorry so slow))

Ordo listened to the list and smiled. Well "I know we want the Bolters." He said his voice relaxed as he listened to the list.

It was a shmoregesboard of pretty new toys. He was tempted to take some of everything but he had to keep his mind on needs more than wants.

"The gorgons, grenades, and EM mines we will take in bulk. Say 30 crates each?" He checked his numbers again. "20 chainswords for the Ori'ramikad to play with, and how many of those tanks? Lets say 10 of the Typhoon and 10 Reavers for now with the option to resupply at 10% over cost. Is that acceptable?"

Ordo leaned back and folded his hands across his stomach and waited calmly for the ladies to respond.

To say that Tegaea was pleased with the ease with which the sales had been concluded would be an understatement. This deal would be worth millions of credits, tens of millions actually. And they’d not even got to the bolters yet.
“I regret we can only supply 20 of the Gorgon web rifles. The rest of the order can be filled quickly. I think this can all be settled quite easily. Now, I will send you the cost of all these items so that we can begin production and shipping. We will ask for half up front to cover costs of production, but aside from that we can have all of this ready for pickup in a month.”
She looked at Siobhan. “My wife will show you the bolters, and you can see how many of those, and what types you wish to order as well. They are my pride and joy, so I hope you enjoy them!” she said, stepping aside for Siobhan to lead them on.

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="Anija Ordo"], @[member="Ordo"]

Siobhan seemed in a very chipper mood and gave Tegaea's hand a gentle squeeze before getting up, gesturing for the others to follow as she guided them out of the office. "You'll really like the bolters. We're very proud of them," she said happily. To say that Siobhan loved her guns more than a normal person might consider healthy was probably an understatement. Well, she obviously still loved her wife more! And space elves.

But they came right after! That's how cool they were.

In any case she led them down the corridor that had originally taken the Mandalorians to the office, then they took a turbolift down a few levels before reaching the firing range. It was part of the section where weapons were tested out, though there were also halls for Firemane mercenaries to train. Presumably in one of those Siobhan also gave her new apprentice Tempest instructions in how to use the Force. Regardless one would note plenty of racks filled to the brim with weapons, training dummies and targets to fire at on the shooting ranges.

As if in preparation of the business meeting, there was a table upon which one would find bolters - both of the MK1 and MK2 variant - and a variety of different ammunitions. Siobhan took ahold of an MK1, presenting it for the Mandalorians to see. There were a number of guns spread out, so they would not lack for weapons to try out.

"There we are. I imagine you're familiar with the technical specifications, but nonetheless some words. The MK1's our pride. Designed to be a hard hitting, reliable boomstick for anti-forcer combat, as standard munition it fires 30mm x 45 mm explosive bolts that are armed on launch and explode on impact. Any forcer who tries a force push against them is bound to get them explode in his face. Even with force shield, there's damage from blast and shrapnel. Bolt has a 2 m casualty zone, up to 6 m damage by blast and shrapnel. Low ammo capacity and rate of fire, but very deadly. In the old days the Pyre decimated Reaver hordes with this gun. I used it successfully against Sith lords. Special ammunition types are buckshot rounds for close range combat and crowd control, solid durasteel slugs fired at high velocity against armoured targets at short to medium range, blinds that create a barrier to both visible slight and most scanners, flares and ion rounds," she elaborated, presenting each magazine in turn before handing the bolter over, then presented the MK2.

"The MK2 was developed later to provide a less complex, mass-produced variant. Semiautomatic and with a larger magazine capacity. More easily available, but the tradeoff it only supports explosive bolts and buckshot, both with a reduced lethality and range and it cannot chamber individual rounds. It was the standard weapon for most Protectorate troops due to being cheaper and easier to use. We have both in very substantial quantities." Lots and lots in the warehouses, just begging to be used. Broadly speaking the MK2 was more easily available, less heavy and bulky, making it easier to use, but the MK1 was the superior weapon when it came to fighting forcers, hence why Siobhan preferred it. Force-enhanced strength allowed her to dual wield two of them.

"Feel free to test them out."

Ordo avoided jumping up and down and clapping like a school girl when the red haired woman said she could fill the order in a month, but it wasn't easy. After he played with the Bolter and ordered them he would make sure to give them each the gifts he brought.

On his ship he had brought a bottle of home brew tihaar, a pair of the Mandalorian Ripper MK II's and two sets of crushgaunts.

The sale would cost nearly everything he hadn't invested in MandalMotors but he had a few things in the works to make up for it without much trouble. He got up smiling and follow Siobhan with a bit of a skip in his step.

He followed her all the way to the range and listened with barely contained glee while she detailed the weapon. Putting on a mask of seriousness he nudged Anija.

"You first Ad'ika." He said happliy.

She had listened intently as @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"] had described the various weapons. And then @[member="Ordo"] hashing out the sale itself. She had to admit, it wasn't a bad deal at all. And, Ordo really needed the hardware. grinning, she elbowed Ordo in the ribs, and stepped up to the table which held the bolters. She reached out and hefted on of them, looking it over for a moment as she tried to get a feel for how it felt to hold one in her hands. And then... she started grinning like a kid in a sweet shop. She could just imagine how it would feel to use one on the battlefield. She hefted the bolter again, sighting down the long barrel as she aimed at the target and pressed the firing stud. There was a bit of a kickback, but she braced her feet and fired again, her grin widening. She then looked sideways at Ordo and grinned, nodding her approval.

(Any credit amounts in here I’m vaguely comparing to $US for reference)
Whilst the two Mandalorians tried out their explosive toys, Tegaea was upstairs working out some pricing. The amounts were stacking up, but the Mandalorians wanted the best, and they would get them.
The Mk1 bolters they would sell for 1,000 credits a piece, the Mk2 for 500. The buckshot and regular magazines were easy enough to produce and would sell for 40 and 20 credits respectively, the special ammo for 100 credits a magazine.
The Gorgon web rifles, being special and technically illegal obtained weapons they would sell for 5,000 each, for a total of 100,000.
The grenades and mines would sell at 10,000 per crate, each crate containing 100 of them. Thus 300,000 credits.
The chainswords were again rather specialised and unique and would be let go at 10,000 credits each for a total of 200,000.
The big news of the order though were the vehicles. Each one would be sold at 5,000,000 credits, giving a total of 100,000,000 for them. The tanks could be reordered at 3,000,000 in future.

Thus, depending on the number of bolters and how much ammo was purchased, the order would come to at least 100,600,000.

Immediately Tegaea put these figures onto a datapad and took them down to the armoury to show the buyers….

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="Ordo"], @[member="Anija Ordo"]

Upon being fired the bolts would explode, well, explosively upon impacting on a target. This writer pleads the lateness of the hour as an excuse for badly punned lines. However, as shown the boltgun did pack quite a punch. While it was heavy and came with quite a bit of recoil, it was deadly and especially in the case of the MK1 extremely versatile. Besides, who did not like blowing things up? Nothing more fun than blowing up bad guys with your boomstick. Well, there were other things that were fun...but this thread is family-friendly and will thus not mention anything that is not PG-13.

Siobhan for her part picked up on Anija's and Ordo's evident enthusiasm and smiled rather broadly. "They are shiny guns. We're very proud of them and glad to deliver. " Then saw Tegaea entered. "Been showing our friends my weapons. I take you got the price figured out, dear," she said happily before turning back to address the Mandalorians.

"If our conditions are agreeable there's a purchasing request we'd like to make for something we know Mandalorians excel at. Namely two sets of beskar armour. You can subtract the costs for them from the price. They'd be very appreciated," she spoke. It went unsaid, but the armour would be mainly for personal use. One for Siobhan, one for Tempest, her apprentice. That word still sounded a bit foreign to her, but she had started instructing the girl in using the Force. That beskar armour was awesome did not need any special elaboration. Besides, she would look good in it!

@[member="Anija Ordo"] @[member="Tegaea Alcori"] @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

Ordo watched the Bolter in action. That would be for the Ori'ramikad.

"We'll take 100 units of the MK I." He said with a grin.

Ordo was ready to start a long term arangement with Firemane after today. He accepted the datapad from the redheaded business woman and looked over the breakdown. He had expected the sum to be around that and he nodded his satisfaction. The transaction was going far more smoothly than he had expected.

"Ladies if you could have your people go to my ship's cargo hold and retreive the crate labled Firemane. We can finalize our arangements." Ordo said with a scar faced grin. "I brought you each one of our Rippers and a set of crushgaunts. As for the Beskar'gam unless you have specific request for customization I can have two sets here in the time it takes to jump to Hyperspace. Regular Beskar'gam is 30,000 credits each 45,000 if you want it customized (and I can sub it for you)."

Ordo waited for the crate. He had recently been involved in the sacking of an Imperial instalation on the Muun home world and had cleared their data base including imperial accounts held with the Banking Clan. Suffice to say. Clan Ordo had resources in cluding a 1m x 1m x 1m crate from a vault on mygeeto full of precious metals, crystals and gems. Ordo had appraised the lot at 200,000,000 credits give or take.

He waited for the crate to arrive with the gauntles, tihaar and Rippers on top.

"Go ahead." He said grinning "I rhink that should cover our order and continued business."

“The armour is not for me, but for my wife and her Apprentice, as she may have said. I’ll let them discuss the details, but your price is perfectly acceptable.”
Soon the items promised appeared, along with the payment. It was pleasing to Tegaea that the Mandalorians evidently wanted to pay everything up front.

“You do us great honour with your trust. We shall not fail you. We can provide the weapons and armour now, leaving only the tanks to be picked up later. If you would like any of the Mk2 bolters or extra ammunition, do let us know and we can throw this in as well. It’s great doing business with you, Chieftain.”

(If you could do the subs for us that would be great. :))

@[member="Tegaea Alcori"], @[member="Anija Ordo"], @[member="Ordo"]

Siobhan looked very pleased at the gifts Ordo had brought them. Rippers were nice, while she was more of a ranged combatant crushgaunts were pretty badass and as for the tihaar...she and Tegaea certainly had a lot to celebrate now, what with getting paid lots of money, so it would surely be appreciated!

"Thank you for your gifts. They're very appreciated. We look forward to doing business with you and your people in the future, Field Marshal. As for the beskar'gam, both my apprentice and I are obviously force-users, we'd require use of our powers while wearing the armour. My student is...rather fond of causing lightning and tempests." Hence why she was called Tempest! It would suck if she electrocuted herself, but then this writer has learned that forcers have used beskar armour.

@[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

Ordo nodded as his grey-green eyes looked over the woman. He was in calculation mode. Most people didn't know and Ordo rarely mentioned but he had graduated from the Corellian science academy and he was not nearly as dumb as he wanted people to think.

"I can have something drawn up and a working modle in your hands within the month." He said "I should have the prints drawn up before I even make it back to Mandalore."

Ordo looked between the women and felt like he had made a decent arrangment. He would now have to work on the Clans naval capabilities but it would have to wait for the moment. He was almost as excited to make the armor as he had been to play with the guns.

"Well I think I am a satisfied customer." He said sticking out a big hand for the two qomen. "And if you ever need me I would be more than happy to help."

Anija had remained quiet, but she listened closely. Personally, she wasn't a fan of a non-mandalorian possessing beskar'gam, but she supposed that was Ordo's call. It was indeed a lot of trust and credits that Ordo was investing, but from the sound of things, and from what she could sense from Ordo, it was quite a good deal. Personally, she was excited about the bolters. She couldn't wait to are how it performed on the field of battle. After a moment, she reached it to grip each woman's arm in turn. "Thank you very much."
