Loovria. A planet that was so far out of the way that Aedric typically wouldn't even think of travelling to, if not for a single fact. Gladiator Pits. Perhaps there was easier and closer options for him, but Aedric wasn't one to plan that far ahead, and so he found someone willing to take him, and departed for Loovria immedietely.

Joining the next fight was an easy feat for Aedric, the pits owners jumping at the oppurtunity to enlist more fighters for their next event, which coincidentally was somewhat of a battle royale. 30 fighters would be entered into a single fight to, presumbly, their deaths until a single fighter remained. Despite their willingless to accept him, Aedrics sign up had been met with laughs. What could a seemingly normal kid do against seasoned veterans of the gladitoral pits? It was like he was being fed to the wolves, which wasn't helped by the sole weapon on him being a training saber, not even the real deal.

However despite the seemingly hopeless situation, there was a wide grin on Aedrics face as he moved into his position within the arena. While the arena was somewhat sizable, it was made to feel small when filled with all 30 fighters, each fighter stood around the edge barley an even 10 feet apart. All the fighters around Aedric appeared to be well over thirty, and large seasoned veterans of the pits or various wars, riddled with scars. Despite this, none seemed to hold particualrly intimidating weapons, many simply having mundane steel blades, nets, spears or the normal weapons one would find in an arena.

The crowd was an assortment of nobles from surronding planets, wealthy businessmen and slavers who owned some of the fighters, who were all roaring their approval for the event. A sudden silence washed over the crowd when one man rose from his seat, and held up his hand.

"Welcome all to my event! I will not bore you with a speech, all I have to say is to sit back and enjoy. Any bets are to be made now, otherwise.. Begin!" The man lowered back onto his seat, and the crowds roars returned, louder than ever. Within the arena, the fighters set upon each other immedietely. Aedric was rooted to the spot in a moment, having expected a bit more build up, and was suprised as the men either side of him both darted at him, likely picking him for an easy target.

A battle royal.

It was a perfect place to really try out her growing power. Outside Sith space, being a Sith was a pretty much instant death. She didn't like dying, so that meant it was time to hide who she was. Battle royals had that effect. The more people there were, the easier it'd be to hide herself, her power. When the numbers thinned, she'd just have to be more careful about showing off. She reached out for a blade as if she was going to pick it up.

Instead, she crafted a replica. The metal substance she could freely manipulate with the Force could make crude shapes, but she'd never tried to replicate an already crafted weapon. She hummed as she did craft something similar, but it wasn't identical.

It'd have to do.

Weapon in hand she looked around, smiling faintly. The blue of her eyes stayed, but that was contacts. No one could know she was Sith if she wanted to survive. Then she moved. Faster than a normal person she set upon her first target. They had their back to her, but that didn't matter. One quick strike would take them down, and who needed honor?

Just winning. That's all that mattered. Though she blinked in surprise as she saw a kid of all people in the ring too. Someone that looked like he was probably the now dead dude's target. And there was another coming for him.

Well, if he died that was one less enemy.

The sight of one of his attackers being swiftly dispatched was all that it needed to break Aedric out of his momentary lapse of focus, immedietly he dashed off his mark towards the other attacker, not yet bothering to find a weapon. Compared to padawans and masters he'd trained with, the brutes swing at him seemed slow and sluggish, allowing him to easily slip under the mans wild slash. All it took to drop the man was a clean punch to his liver, causing him to crumple over to the floor. Perhaps unnessaarily, Aedric followed up by stomping his foot straight down onto the back of the mans head.

He leant down to pick up the mans sword, glancing around at the arena with a frown. Suprisingly, only two men had been fallen in this short sequence, one by him and, strangengly, one by a girl who looked to be around his age. There was no attempt at hiding his expression, very much showing his shock and confusion on his face. However, it was only for a moment before he dashed towards his next opponent. There was a bit more resitence from this man, managing to block and evade a few of Aedrics attack, however it was a one sided onslaught from start to end, only a matter of time before Aedric forced one of his attacks through the mans guard. When it did slip through, he'd turn his blade over at the last second, smashing the flat side of the blade into the mans throat, before following up with a flurry of kicks and smashes with the flat side of the blade once more.

"Boring." He said aloud after knocking down, and subsequently out, a third opponent, glancing around at the thinning field of combatants. As much as he loved a fight, there was no joy in beating on people who could hardly fight back. That girl had looked pretty tough, perhaps he could ggo after her if they were near each other once again, but for the time being, he would just continue to thin out the field, looking for any kind of resistence.

Oh, he was actually skilled.

Or at least better than the other guy. She only watched briefly as he struck down his opponent before she was attacked by another. Similar idea as her, it seemed. Strike from behind. But given his expression, he just wanted to beat up some kids. Disgusting. She didn't even look back as the metal of her blade morphed, shooting out as it extended right into his heart. It pulled back as she turned to at least look like she'd stabbed him with a normal blade.

Then she went on to the next. They weren't prepared for this kind of weapon, were they?

Things didn't go that well for her after that, though. The herd thinned, which meant her little tricks would only be easily seen by others. She had to use her blade on it's own. Her skill on it's own. And, well, there were actually skilled people here. Aliris gritted her teeth and forced a grin as she stared up at a swordsman who stood before her. He flicked his blade, letting her blood that had lined it's edge scatter across the ground.

Chit.

Her body burned from where he'd cut her. Somehow he'd gotten under her guard. He was faster than she assumed. That was her folly, then? Don't assume, just act. If not for the metal substance she controlled acting as a barrier to keep his blade from going too deep, she'd of died. She knew that much. So she crouched, bit back the pain that wanted her to run. Fear. It burned in the back of her mind, threatened to take over. But still she kept from giving in.

Rather, she forced herself to run. Sprint. The Force flowed through her as she channeled it, pulled on it with all the emotions burning through her mind. Blue eyes briefly turned yellow as she suddenly closed the distance. She was fast, faster than the man before him. Much, much faster. She leapt past, her blade cutting through the side of his neck. Lethal. She landed in a near stumble as his body fell.

"Okay, better."

Complacency was never a good trait, and the dangers of complacency in a fight hit Aedric in the face. Or rather, a fist hit Aedric in the face, but that revelaton followed shortly afterwards. Complacency had lead Aedric to fighting in a pattern, and despite his physicality being above almost everyone present, there were fighters skilled enough to pick apart Aedrics patterns. Despite his outwardly rather violent fighting style, there were clear avoidances that Aedric took to avoid a fatal blow. He would twist his blade over at the last second, or redirect the strike to land a non-fatal strike. It was during one of these redirections when Aedric had leant slightly too far forward as to redirect the attack from his opponents neck, to his shoulder, when the other fighter had acted in this split second and landed a clean punch onto Aedrics nose.

"Oh." His eyes widened as blood splurted from his nose, the boy staggering back confusedly. "Annoying." He muttered to himself, very much wearing that annoyance on his face as he wiped some of the blood clean from his lips and nose. He darted forward, faster than before, closing the distance between him and continuing past the man. There was a quick slash as he past, cutting across the back of the mans knees, who simply crumpled awkwardly.

The field continued to thin, but Aedrics involvement in thinning out the herd almost entirly stopped, only fighting one more man afterwards, who had opened a very shallow cut on Aedrics shoulder. Similarly, there had been a flash of annoyance passing over the Padawan, and then the perpetrator had received an unnessarily long curb stomping.

"Right then.." He began to cross the arena towards the girl, his sword swinging idly by the side, very much inviting himself to be attacked by anyone he passed. However, most of the remaining fighters were locked up into little scuffles around the arena, and Aedric had lost interest in those smaller fights, he wanted to fight someone he expected to be much more interesting.

Aliris let out a heavy sigh at the fall of her next opponent. That wasn't as easy, that was for sure. But, she still lifted her blade, glanced it over before looking around the ring. Most were already engaged. She could just stop, wait for the others to be done before picking off those who did remain. Or.. She glanced towards the boy from before. He was just finishing off another in.. Oh, wow, he was a very angry sort, wasn't he?

She raised her blade, pointing it towards him. Grinned.

"You ready for another fight or do you want to get some kicks in?"

Aedric Aedric

Aedric mirrored her grin as she pointed her blade at him, his grip tightening around the hilt of his blade.

"Bit of both probably." He replied, beginning to circle off towards the left as he got closer. He hadn't seen enough of her fighting to be able to put together any kind of fighting style, so he knew that he should be defensive until he figured her out and would be able to start his own offence. However, he was too excited by the prospect of the fight, and was quick to dash forward towards her.

"How old are you? You look close to my age, and I didn't think anyone hear would be." He asked, as he swung his blade overhead straight down towards her.
