Canon: No
Links: N/A
City Name: Arce City
Classification: Urban Center
Location: Osseriton
Affiliation: Fel Kingdom
Demographics: The city is mainly human with little diversity, though the people are open to the ideas of aliens. Being in the outer regions however, not much immigration occurs.
Wealth: Medium. The medium cost of living, successful businesses, and nationalized mining industries allow for a relatively strong local economy, even interesting some larger nearby powers with the newly discovered oil and iron deposits. Along with the recent discovery of resources, the local market maintains a stable currency called the crown. The coin currency is made of silver and gold, with an etched crown and marking of its value. The mix between a stable currency, control of inflation, and a booming local market lead to a relatively large middle class, capable of a comfortable lifestyle.
Stability: High. Following the recent Fel civil war lead by Lord Revere in his attempt to set up a military junta, the city was partially destroyed. Unified in their support of the Premier, A war hero and Supreme Commander of the military, the population is currently seeing little internal turmoil. The People are fairly free and supportive of the local government, with support for the king rising.
Description: Arce City is situated in a large valley between two mountains and a sea. On one side, the tall mountains hold a few abandoned military installations and ancient structures which are common tourist destinations. The wooded mountains are littered with overlooks where you can see the entire city. The city contains no high rise structures, and is rather large. Overlooking the city is the Fel Royal Palace which has been inhabited for generations by the throne pretenders and, as of recent, Restored monarchs of the Fel Imperium.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The Fel Palace: Acting as the home of the established monarchy, The palace was created over the site of an ancient castle. The Palace contains a courtyard open to the public, a number of beautiful gardens, stained glass windows, and balconies to overlook scenic areas such as the courtyard and local countryside.

The Old Parliament Building: Though the old parliament has been replaced by the Imperial council, the building of the parliament still remains and is used to hold meeting of the current government. The Centre, the main chamber where summits and government meetings are carried out, is a large dome that rises above the roofs of the average buildings of Arce City. The Parliament building also contains Large windows along the curved rear wall of the Centre and multiple portraits of old monarchs hung near the entrance in the main hall wrapping around much of the Centre, providing multiple entrances to the main chamber. The main entrance to the structure is up the large staircase from the main street. From there you are greeted by the massive portico supported by 8 pillars. The building is constructed of cobblestone and sits near the center of town with the building on a hill, much like the palace, allowing a view of the southern section of the city from the main chamber. The floors of the main halls are made of a fine white granite while quartz and gold make up the walls.

Old Imperial Authority Building: North of the city, hidden in the mountains lays the abandoned Imperial Authority building. The structure, created during the reign of Toran Fel, was the temporary center of government operations. After Toran's arrest on charges of treason, and execution following an attempted return to power, the structure was completely abandoned, returning the government back to Arce City. This structure, though not open to the public, is a common destination for explorers and scavengers of older imperial equipment that was left during the Imperial collapse of 848 aby.

Main Imperial Garrison: Situated in the mountains just west of the city lays the main garrison. This Military base contains the Barracks of the 3rd Mixed Infantry division and series of hangers where fighters can be quickly scrambled in the event of an attack. The compound is of course only open to military personnel, but it’s location and strategic importance are noteworthy.
SECURITY
Medium. The city is surveyed by an extension of the military police who are outfitted with speeders and light weapons and armor to combat threats and maintain the peace on the streets. The government buildings and Palace are guarded by special regiments of the military guard, while the palace in particular also has the added bonus of the OSF imperial guards. Also, scattered around the city are anti air installations on top of government owned rooftops.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Arce City (Pronounced Arch) Was named Arce after the Latin word for castle. The Palace itself was built atop the location of a massive ancient walled castle, and the city below was built upon a village, hence the name Arce City. First developed around 340 BBY, Arce city was one of the first major modern establishments on the planet. The Fels first came to the world around 423 BBY and established the First Kingdom of Arce. The Kingdom ruled for just over a century before being dissolved in 536 BBY when King Julius Horrible was overthrown after 20 years in power due to refusing to feed his poor populace. The Fel dynasty attempted multiple times to retake power until, in 601 BBY, King George Fel II, known as George the Redeemer, took power.

The king implemented a number of programs to help the people and develop the infrastructure, becoming the first King in almost 90 years to put the people first. After his death, his son George Fel III Took power and married the widowed queen of a kingdom on Tantorous This marriage unified the kingdoms and lead to the Creation of the 1st Fel Empire. The Empire quickly expanded its territory, leaving its administrative capital to Arce. Citizens of Arce were conscripted to fight in the first Fel invasion of Tantorous. The invasion partially succeeded in some of it’s smaller tasks but in the end seen a defeated Fel army return to Osseriton, and a disgruntled population of Arce once again turn it’s back on the Fel monarchs. After the birth of the kings twin sons, a succession crisis began. Due to the closeness of times of birth, and no official records stating which son was born first, no clear heir was found.

After the death of George III in 643 ABY, with a kingdom still divided, both boys tried to seize power. During the civil war that ensued, much of Arce was destroyed and the first Fel empire collapsed completely. After the war, with George III’s son Alexander Fel-Luther stood victorious. His son was succeeded him after his short rule of 18 years. Alexander Fel-Luther’s son Jonathan Fel was crowned King of unified Osseriton in 661 BBY and was responsible for many renovations to not only the castle, but the city. Jonathon’s reign seen the creation of a parliament and democratization of the Fel Kingdom for the first time ever. For the next 163 years, neither the city, the palace, or the kingdom itself saw many reforms or innovations, and beside the building of more homes for a rising population, the status quo mostly remained. Finally in 824 ABY, With the ascension of Toran Fel to the throne, the kingdom got some much needed renovations. Ancient rotting structures were knocked down, The palace was renovating, and the sprawling slums of southern Arce were removed. The economy stimulated, the people happy, and the kingdom expanding to the Second Fel Empire, Arce city became the capital of a major galactic power. This period seen large amounts of mostly human immigrations and the drastic expansion of the city itself.

The palace was no longer the residence of some faceless king, but the home of the beloved Emperor Toran, and a culture which was open to limited visitation and tourism. Following Toran’s fall to corruption however, there was a period of great instability. Toran Fel, making a series of bad calls in opposition to advice of his advisors, and beginning to horde federal funds for himself was Arrested for treason and corruption. The second empire finally met its end after William Harris took power in an attempt to stop the decline that was becoming more and more evident. As he finally stabilized the Empire, Toran was broken out of jail by monarchists and striked back in an attempt to take back power. This action pushed the Fel empire, and more specifically, Arce, into a period of rioting and civic unrest, damaging some historical sites. The Emperor was hated, but the people still didn’t agree with the execution of their monarch. Harris, seeing the Rapidly destabilizing state began the search for a successor to Toran. After two months of a military junta, Harris had transformed the government into a constitutional monarchy without a king, and had named himself Regent. He in this time nationalized local resources, standardized the crown as the primary currency, separate from the galactic credit, increased pride of the people, expanded the military, and increased revenues from exported goods.

After finding of Toran’s first cousin Alexander Mikhailov, He was crowned king. With the monarchy restored, the government strong, and William Harris being elected into the office of Grand premier, all seemed well until an assassination attempt on Harris. When he was shot and, the King went to take constitutional power as he should, the Supreme Commander of the military attacked, He focused his attack on the city. The attacks devastated particularly the parliament building, the palace, and the western industrial sections of the military. Some buildings flattened, and in the case of the palace, bombed beyond recognition in some parts. After the recent toppling of his Regime, Harris and Alexander I have restored the former glory of this ancient city and are preparing to once again open it up to the galactic Stage.

While nothing is wrong with this, I would suggest maybe breaking the historical information section into multiple paragraphs as one giant block of text can be hard to read
