Historical Primary Terrain:
Lush forests and thick jungles grow across the world, separated only by small naturally grasslands and rolling hills. The world lacks any form of large standing body of water beyond a lake, and much of the face of the world is crisscrossed by an intricate system of waterways, rivers and creeks that are the life source of the inhabitants, the Tre'Shal. during its development the planet very rarely experienced seismic activity, resulting in a lack of mountain ranges or other such notable features such as volcanoes.

The equatorial belt region is surprisingly bare and open, with a large band of fertile marshes and tributaries, serving as the breadbasket of the planet. The southern hemisphere of the world is known for its many marshes and fertile farmlands, while the northern hemisphere is known for its thick jungles, forests and lakes. Both the Southern and Northern pole are completely covered in ice, with glaciers showing healthy grown.

Current Primary Terrain:
The air is thick with dust and debris as violent wind storms tear across the planet. The once lush forests and jungles give way to massive spires of glass and rock, markers of a bygone war that ravaged the planet. The lakes and rivers have all dried up, leaving barren stream and lake beds as the only reminders left of any form of liquid ever being present. The lack of trees and other native fauna have caused the top soil to easily be carried into the air, and the rising air speed pushes hot, scorching sandstorms across the surface. What little life, if any that remains, have all been forced into caves and dried underground river channels beneath the surface to survive.

Further scars are seen in the deep gorges and towering mountain rangers, signs of a cataclysmic seismic event that rapidly altered the climate of Arborea. Molten rivers of magma slowly creep across the surface, with few of theses lava flows taking over the once pristine creek beds that had thrived ages ago. The Southern hemisphere's marshlands are nothing more than remnants of fossilized wood and petrified calcium deposits. What little structures remain have all been abandoned and left to rot.

Culture:
Arborea was a technologically advanced society that used technology in harmony with their environment to keep their world pure and devoid of pollution and other harmful chemicals. Their culture was much like that of the Ithorians, with the Tre'Shals focused on revering and respecting nature in all forms. Many of their cities were not built, rather they were grown out of the very trees of the forests and jungles.

Religious worship was focused on "The Mother", a deified aspect of Nature itself. The Tre'Shal species looked to their shamans for guidance of how The Mother wanted her children to raise and protect their world. It was thought that droughts, pestilence and other such natural disasters were signs of The Mother's displeasure with her children.

A pacifistic people, the Tre'Shals united under a series of competing city states and founded a Democratically run Confederacy of City States that focused upon the desires of nature and its protection. The world itself had no standing military to speak of, and preferred a more cultured and diplomatic means to interact with their neighbors. Though indirectly, they would aid their allies in war time and were reliant upon these allies to offer their world protection as well from any aggressor.

Art and Society were focused upon nature, and many of the Tre'Shal people were botanist, artists, and cultivators who focused on the many aspects of nature.

Historical Level of Technology:

The people of Arborea were a highly advanced species in comparison to many of the Core Worlds of the Main Galaxy.

History:
Arborea was a little known world, and could be at times considered in the backwaters of the Yuuzhan Vong Galaxy. During its earlier years it met with a similar cataclysm that drove a rapid shift in the climate due to greenhouses gases and high levels of pollution caused by the native Tre'Shal people. During this era a radical zealot calling himself the "Prophet of the Mother" stepped forward and forced a rapid shift in thinking, which saw the destruction of the worlds industrial centers and infrastructure, returning the planet to a more rural and primitive style of living.

The Tre'Shal species adapted and learned how to care and nurture their world. This also lead to a shifting in political and militaristic theory, with large nations collapsing and smaller City States forming in their stead. Entire militaries were either disbanded or exiled from the world as a sweeping call for pacifism rose. These more nature-centric City-States formed a Confederacy, in which all members of the species had a voice in the politics of the world. This Confederacy saw a rapid rebuilding of the planets ecosystems and a recovery of the climate with the aid of technology from neighboring worlds.

Due to their pacifistic nature, the world was quickly overwhelmed by the Yuuzhan Vong, and the Tre'Shal species was wiped out, leaving Arborea as nothing more than a withered husk.
