LFG Any Interest in a Dark Jedi Group?

For me I just really like the idea of an organization that seeks a middle ground between both historically extremely hostile to one another factions. And I see it as a an opportunity to better themselves. There are sides to both the sith and jedi that are unhealthy for a person and lead to complications in interpersonal relationships.

Ryudo I do not see it as a faction. I'll check out the Wookie article. Maybe borrow some of that lore etc. It looks like they are mostly a Tython organization

That's kinda what I liked too. Darksiders and LIghtsiders working together for the knowledge of the Force

They were originally based on tython however they stopped being an order due to a Civil war that gave birth to the Jedi Order. While their origins are 100% from Tython it would be possible to rebuild them elseware due to them being dead since before the republic existed. Wookiepedia covers it pretty well. Je'daii

Also not to get political but with the polarization of todays politics I would really enjoy RPing a role in which both sides seek to find a middle ground. It might be heated and be some drama but ultimately leaving the topics open for discussion. I know I'll find it very enjoyable.

There are a lot of factions right now doing the split views too.

I joined the Gray Forces to try and figure out if they are sorta doing what we are saying. But so far I'm not sure if its active

As mentioned, the Matukai are focused on grasping the Force through a focus on the body. Cleanliness and mediation, even combat, are seen as ways to communicate with the Force. The organization focuses on blotting out the dark side from the galaxy, and even go so far as to wear meditation bands to prevent external dark side influence, leaving only their own hearts as a potential corruption.

" and like minded individuals. " Here's where I find issue. There is little personal growth and expanding of ones horizons to be had surrounding yourself with people who think the same way. I want of a faction of like minded goals and diverse individuals. Different views on life and principles.

I'm with kitty on this, a less refined group would lead to more interesting and diverse RP. My worry on the ones presented is that they are very focused in specific things, or not well informative of what they're about.

I'm talking with Kaleleon right now and he's been considering starting a dark Jedi group. I'm trying to see if that is more like what the two of you were thinking too

There was a Je'daii Faction about two years ago. However they were heavily Lightsided, and more focused on Balance. They were stationed over a different planet due to the map climate at the time. In fact, I was an admin of this Je'daii Faction and my character Ignis was the Steward of Vur Tepe(Metal craft, Forging)
