Character Antipater

Machines Making Machines
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: Still wasting my life away, don't mind me!
Image Credit: K-2SO Concept Art by Luke Fisher, further modifications by the inimitable and ever-ready Arage Bao Arage Bao
Permissions: I'm the problem. It's me.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: 10
Classification: Planning Droid, Second Degree
Appearance: Antipater's chassis resembles a typical protocol droid, jet black and polished to a reflective sheen. He stands roughly as tall as most humans. His frame is lanky and apparently delicate. His movements are stiff and mechanical, but quite deliberate. Antipater finds walking around "naked" to be beneath him as a fully intelligent and self-emancipated droid. He wears the sleek, highly-acclaimed Imperial Uniform, obtained perhaps through indiscrete means. His rank insignia plaque designates him a Moff.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: Antipater
Affiliations: Whomever, Dark Empire, Iron Sun Intelligence, etc.
Wealth: Luxuriant

SKILLS
Logic: A pure rationalist, able to deduce the answers to complex problems and the most efficient course of action... Usually.
Conceptualization: A visionary. Big ideas, big designs, and with an artistic lean to boot.
Visual Calculus: Reconstructs past events and makes future predictions with mathematical precision. It'd be sorcery if he weren't a robot.
Interfacing: A machine with a great deal of empathy, you could say. Knows how to fix and program most standard technology.
Perception: More sensors than he knows what to do with - capable of detecting and analyzing a wide range of subtle phenomenon.

PERSONALITY
The phrase "superiority complex" comes to mind. Antipater has spent a supermajority of his short existence in the shadow of incompetent, corrupt humans with no regard for cultivating the true soul of the Imperial project. These same humans were very eager to absorb his accomplishments and deflect their failures onto him. It's enough to instill even the most stoic of droids with personality. A cruel and critical personality steeped in deep antipathy, but a personality none-the-less.
Now that he's "in charge", he's determined to fulfil his original directive: to put the Galactic Empire back on the upswing. Antipater's vision for doing so largely amounts to: less people, more droids. Organic cupidity is the fly in the ointment that has been the ruin of many Empires. Reducing this variable will improve the likelihood of prolonged Imperial dominion.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Antipater carries an exotic blaster pistol as his sidearm. By all accounts, he is an impeccable marksman, capable of hitting distant targets with precise accuracy. Despite this, his first choice will be to flee at any sign of violence and defer to his bodyguards. He is not especially fast. Punches and kicks he throws in desperation are not especially skillful, but on account of being made of durasteel, they can hurt and potentially kill unarmored targets.
HISTORY
During the decline of the Empire - the one started by the New Imperials - the planetary governor of Jaemus retained the services of an "advanced model planning droid" gifted to him by the President of the Commerce Guild. This droid was instructed to reverse the failing fortunes of the Empire on Jaemus. This was a difficult task. It was difficult because the governor and his immediate cabinet - the "Ruling Council" - were either corrupt or incompetent.
Antipater attempted to work around this. His successes were either dismissed or accredited to the Ruling Council. His failures were magnified and mocked. This instilled in him an amount of resentment sufficient to arrive at the following conclusion: to save the Empire, the Ruling Council needed to die. After furtively assembling the resources necessary, Antipater launched his coup.
The Ruling Council died easily enough. Cowing the rest of the by-then regional Imperial Remnant was more difficult. As it turns out: the more nerve gas you deploy, the less problems you have.
Antipater now sits at the head of a modest Imperial Remnant. How he will consolidate from there remains to be seen.
