Long ago he'd met a Jedi on his homeworld that had told him that the truth of the galaxy was that all beings were corrupt. That same Jedi had told him that if he ever wanted to learn, he needed to seek out all branches of the Force. Shakrin had found the Jedi to be wise beyond the bounds of his Order. Perhaps it was the bounds of his Order that had enlightened him to the true nature of the galaxy. He'd never gotten the chance to ask the man since he had dies shortly after making the lone revelation. Shakrin had taken up the mans blade and killed those that had killed him, and then buried the weapon with its creator. It had seem fitting.

Now, many years after that, he set foot on Tython. The world was ancient in terms of the Force and its presence there. The Jedi were supposed to be bastions of light, but every book he'd read had exposed at least some form of corruption within their system. He wasn't overly eager to be subject to it. At the same time, he didn't plan to subjugate himself to anyone. If he was going to learn, it was going to have to be on his terms. He didn't care how powerful the Jedi were. He'd rather them beat him senseless than allow one of them to command him. It was going to make things really interesting.

A temple loomed before him and he started toward it. Might as well get the show on the road, as they say.

Tython meant much to the Jedi and the order's history, apparently. It didn't mean much to Flint. Having been trained and raised at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, he had never been all too familiar with the temple on Tython. Why bother coming here? That was the question. Flint had come here to just further his understanding of the Force. Tython after all, was an extremely Force-connected planet. Whatever that meant.

Flint had decided to take some time to explore the nature of Tython. Thus he was walking around the temple, observing the wood surrounding the temple. He sighed as he smelled the fresh air. Flint knew he'd miss Tython once he was back in Coruscant, breathing the planet's polluted air.

He probably stuck out like a sore thumb, to put it bluntly. All the aura's he felt on the planet were so, well, people said they were "good", that he felt seriously of place. He didn't see the aura's as good, he just saw them as intentions. In fact, that allowed him to see further than what other people saw. Most saw good, bad, or neutral. He saw shades of grey. All of the shades he saw wouldn't do him any harm under normal circumstances, but these were far from normal. A being with a conflicted aura had landed on their planet. His aura shook itself through every shade of grey possible, black to white.

Emotions ran high here, despite what people said. They were muted, but he could feel them even when people tried to hide them. It always let him see the truth in what people said. Sometimes it was a blessing, when it saved his life. Other times it was a curse, when it made people distrust him. He shook those thoughts away and continued to walk, just waiting for someone to accost him because of his aura. He knew it would happen at some point.

Indeed, Shakrin did stand out. On the Jedi-filled planet, it was not too hard to miss the aura of a differently affiliated Force-User. Flint silently moved around, allowing the Force to guide him towards the uninidentified presence in the area. Soon the Jedi Knight was able to locate the source of the conflicted aura that had arrived on the planet. Trying to not sound as aggressive as possible, Flint spoke, from right next to Shakrin.

"Perhaps you are lost, friend?"

"Lost on Tython? Would be a strange place to get lost to, wouldn't it?"

Nobody accidentally came to Tython, as far as he figured. Why would they? The world had no significant value outside of those that could use the Force. Even then it was home to the Jedi, not the Sith or any of the numerous other orders of cultists. He was there deliberately. This was just the humans way of politely asking why one such as him happened to be on the world. He shook his head at the man and looked around them. Plenty of people were looking his way. Some had stopped to gawp at him, but not a soul approached except for this human in front of him.

"I came here deliberately to seek knowledge."
