Another pea in the pod

At the helm of her small relatively small vessel still loaded with the Phrik ore they had recovered recently in the Gromas system Siara’s hands flew over the controls. It had been a relatively quiet ride to Exocron she hadn’t crossed paths with [member="Kiln"] very many times since they had finished loading the ore there wasn’t much privacy on a ship as small as hers but if someone didn’t want to be seen they could certainly pull it off.

This had been the case with Siara, she had spent most of the time in the cockpit but any time not spent there had been spent in one of the three barrack style sleeping area keeping it locked for privacy. Reaching across the panel she drew back the lever reverting the small freighter from hyperspace into the Exocron system. The reaction to her sudden reversion was to be expected, she hadn’t bothered to announce her approach so even though the vessel was distinctly Morossian the defense fleet reacted and was on the little freighter before she could advance far into the system.

“Unidentified freighter you are trespassing, power down your engines and prepare to dock with an inspection vessel.” A sharp no nonsense voice ordered over the comm.

“Whoa there, cool your jets. This is Deimos Vorru, transmitting identity files now.” Siara replied. “I expect you to forward a message to Crusader [member="Crystal"] I have someone she needs to meet.”

“Apologies Deimos, we were not expecting your arrival, we will forward your message.” The voice had lost its edge but she could tell the man on the other end was annoyed by her methods. It didn’t bother her that she didn’t fit in with most of the pod people as long as they followed her commands when it counted.

“Sounds like your fleet is prime for an inspection then, once I am done with my meeting with Crusader Crystal I will be returning to orbit to conduct a full inspection.” Siara smirked to herself, just because she didn’t carry a high rank didn’t mean she couldn’t keep those above her on their toes, she wasn’t really an official part of the military structure anyway. She guided the vessel into orbit as landing coordinates were fed into her navigation system from the nearest vessel. There was no further communication apparently the pod people serving in the defense fleet were so focused on ensuring their vessels would be ready for inspection that they didn’t have time to respond to her threat.

Bringing the small freighter down from orbit to the coordinates provided by ground control the Kiffar mercenary landed quite close to the temple itself she expected that Crystal would meet them at the landing pad. Siara powered down the engines and got on the internal comm. “Well we are here, hope you are ready to prove your worth.”

Kiln

The Survivor
Kiln was sleeping in one of the barracks when Siara's voice came over the comm. He had spent most of the trip resting and trying to sleep, but it was never long before the nightmares came. He slowly opens his eyes and sits up on the edge of his bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes before standing up and stretching his recently mended arm. It was still a bit stiff, but the hit on his head had healed fine and his blaster wound was nothing but a scar. Putting his shirt on and grabbing his shield, Kiln walked out of the room and up to the cockpit where Siara was.

"You failed to mention how I would be 'proving my worth'. "

Crystal was munching happily in the mess hall, watching those around her as she liked to do when she had down time. She was approached. Already the Sith Princess knew that play time was over, and so she stood to greet the messenger.

“Crusader Carter,” she was greeted with a bow before he continued “Deimos Vorru has asked that a message be delivered to you.”

Crystal nodded. “What is the message?”

The man almost stuttered, but instead paused to compose himself. “She has someone that you need to meet.”

Crystal tilted her head in typical Crystal fashion. “Hmm,” she said as she considered the wording of the message. Need to meet. Interesting. “Thank you, I will meet her.”

Perhaps play time wasn’t over after all….

Crystal stood on the landing pad with her hands resting at the small of her back. Right on top of her lightsaber. But, she wouldn’t need it for a first meeting, or Siara wouldn’t have brought whoever their guest was. In fact, she was intrigued. Siara hadn’t made a point of introducing her to anyone, so the person must be of interest to her.

Gathering her belt and holster off the back of her pilots chair the Kiffar strapped it onto her hips as [member="Kiln"] stepped into the cockpit. She giggled at his comment, she didn’t have a clue how the Sith Sorceress would test the man she hadn’t ever had to face the trials the force users around here faced because she didn’t have any of those abilities. “That is not for me to decide and having never faced the trials she will put you through myself I don’t really have a clue what she will have you doing. No better way to find out than go down the ramp.”

Stepping out of the cockpit she headed for the already lowered landing ramp strutting down towards @Crystal. “What no big reception? No grand feast? No marching band for the returning hero of the Crusade?” Siara smirked as she stopped at the bottom of the ramp. “As my message indicated I have someone for you to meet, I believe he has skills you will value and given that I expect that should he prove his worth you will pay out a bonus. I have need for additional credits for a little project I am working on.”

Kiln put his hood up and followed Siara out of the ship as she walked out onto a landing pad where there was an older looking woman waiting for them. Kiln was a bit nervous, not knowing where he was or who these people were. He stood at the bottom of the ramp silently while they began talking to each other, wondering if it was even his place to introduce himself. It didn't matter though. He was a short spoken man and would prefer to let his actions speak for him.

Crystal laughed. “Big reception? You’re lucky I’m standing here.” She grinned. “Lovely to see you in one piece.” Her gaze turned to their guest as Siara went on speaking of him as though he were a bounty or something. “Yes of course. Send me the specifics and I’ll see you’re funded.” Crystal responded, without shifting her gaze away from Kiln.

She tilted her head. Of course the Sith could find the information she sought, but where was the fun in that. Plus, Siara said meet, which typically involved introductions. But Siara never did follow social customs.

The Sith Princess offered her hand to Kiln. “Since our associate has neglected to introduce us, let me introduce myself. I’m Crystal of House Carter.” No, she didn’t expect him to recognize her name. Most people outside of Tapani did not, which was the way they preferred it in Tapani. “And you have the favour of the Gods I see.” Crystal smiled.

The average human male sat in the air vents and listened to the 'Reception' going on below, he was a trained mercenary and stealth was one of his specialties. so this felt no different that before, but for some reason, it did feel different, those were sith down there not bounty hunters or jedi. "Im going to regret this" Mit muttered as he slowly opened the grate and dropped to the floor with a soft thud.

"Why hello there." he called as he stood up and, as a precaution, held his hand over his trusty blaster.

Seeing a man drop from a nearby vent Siara’s hand went instantly to her blaster and it was drawn before he even hit the ground. She narrowed her eyes on him as he approached intruding on the introduction between [member="Kiln"] and [member="Crystal"] . She didn’t like surprise guests and she disliked snoops even more.

“I suggest you keep your hand away from your blaster or I will burn a hole in your forehead friend.” Siara stated coldly keeping her attention on the uninvited guest as she spoke to Crystal. “I don’t recall inviting anyone else to this little party did you put this together for me? A surprise welcome home is really unorthodox, really could get someone shot.”

“What is your business here friend?” Siara asked, her weapon still trained on the other man ready to fire but she would give him the benefit of the doubt until he actually laid hand on his weapon. If he did she would drop him so fast he wouldn’t even have time to protest.

"Oh im sorry, did I interrupt something? Hope it was nothing important..." he said and then stopped dead, seeing the blaster, "Ok ok no need to be hasty..." he slowly lowered his hand from his weapon. "I, saw an unusual shuttle land and, being my normal paranoid self, I came to check it out..."

As [member="Crystal"] introduced herself, Kiln looked at her hand for a moment before shaking it with his Mechanical hand. "Kiln." He said, smirking at her comment about the gods.

Suddenly someone called out from behind them and Siara pulled a blaster on him. Kiln wasnt sure what was going on and reached for his shield, wondering who the man was and why Siara was so immediatley hostile to him.

He turned and started to walk towards the man with a shield, seeing that he was less aggressive, but kept his hand near his blaster all the same

Shaking her head as the intrusive man as he circled around towards [member="Kiln"] the mercenary woman saw a pair of Crusaders in their heavy armor approaching, they were armed to the teeth looking to investigate the disturbance. There was no need for her to keep her weapon trained on the man anymore if he was going to try anything these highly trained soldiers would put him down almost as quickly as she could.

“Not interrupting at all friend, but you may want to consider a different way to of approaching new people, coming out of ventilation systems in a spaceport on the hub world of the Moross Crusade could get a man shot quite quickly.” Siara stepped away from [member="Crystal"] and Kiln taking the elbow of [member="Mit Tuxaire"] guiding him away from the meeting between the Sith Sorceress and her companion from Gromas as the soldiers followed behind. “So, what brings you to Exocron?”

Mit chuckled inwardly at how well the mercenary- atleast thats what he thought she was- had evaded the guards, "Oh the usual, just wandering the streets, poking ant hills, same as always" he nodded at the guards as they passed, trying to act nonchalant, even though the girl that had held a blaster to his head a second ago was chatting as if nothing had happened, as the crusaders went by he pulled of his
helmet, revealing his silver hair and gold eyes, in an effort to look more 'in place' incase they passed more guards.

(ooc: sorry about the slow reply, was at the movies, saw the maze runner, its so sad 3': )

Today wasn't going so well for Oka. He seemed to have wandered somewhere in the galaxy with his cloaking system on. Or else he might not have survived. Anyways, he approached a temple which he was going to crash into before seeing a landing pad. Getting past security was easy with high quality cloaking systems but Oka didn't really plan to be here. A FT-18 Pillar was small so it'd be easy to land without causing too much trouble.

This area was kinda unusual. Very different from where Oka usually goes. Either way, he had to do something. He jumped outta his ship and signaled his droid to fly off somewhere safe. Hopefully, people were in a good mood. Oka seen a bunch up ahead and went to talk.

"Hey there!" Oka yelled.

Kiln stares at [member="Mit Tuxaire"] as Siara takes him away, following some other gaurds. Looking back at [member="Crystal"] with a puzzled expression, he rests his shield back over his shoulder revealing the lightsaber attached to the back of it.

[member="Siara Vorru"] [member="Oka Osaa"]

Glancing over her shoulder at the guards as yet another person stepped out into the landing pad into what should have been a quiet meeting Siara gave a little nod indicating they should intercept the new contact who had seemingly come out of nowhere. This was starting to get a little frustrating for the Deimos, clearly there was something wrong with the security here particularly with the fleet, she made a mental note to follow through with the threat she had made in orbit. Nothing frustrated her more than incompetence and today she seemed to be surrounded by it. The two guards that had been monitoring her and the man who had approached first broke away to intercept [member="Oka Osaa"].

“Welcome to Exocron sir. May we escort you to the temple so you may pay proper tribute to the gods?” The first of the two guards asked Oka.

Looking away from the new disturbance for now Siara looked back at [member="Mit Tuxaire"] who had since taken off his helmet revealing his striking gold eyes and silver hair, it was a sharp contrast that threw her for a brief moment before she continued. “You picked quite the planet to go poking around on, have you been to the temple yet or were you here on a contract?”

"I visit the temple all the time, you just happened to walk in while i was poking around, I don't do assassin contracts, they aren't my style" He looked over his shoulder at [member="Oka Osaa"], someone he knew quite well. then looked back at [member="Siara Vorru"] "It was just the fact that two sith and a mercenary were at the temple that I felt like joining in your, extremely pleasant conversation." he said with a grin,

"Eh no... I'd appreciate it if I can just receive some info on where I am. I seemed to have misplaced my ship so I may be here for awhile. I've never been to Exocron in fact." Oka said moving forward past the guards. He noticed the man with silver hair, he looks familiar, Oka thought. The only person he knows with silver hair is Mit. That must be him.

Raising her brow ever so slightly as [member="Mit Tuxaire"] mentioned assassination contracts without being prompted, he wasn’t exactly discrete certainly didn’t seem the type to be an assassin but perhaps it was all an act to throw her off the scent. “I don’t recall mentioning anything about assassination. I would hate for someone to get the idea that you were here for that purpose, best keep words like that out of your vocabulary, especially in the presence of a Crusader and so many Morrossian soldiers. Words like that can make people a little jumpy.”

Glancing over her shoulder at the guards again she noticed how the man they were intercepting was trying to press past them. “Excuse me for a moment friend.” Siara stepped aside just out of range of normal human hearing and tapped her earpiece to communicate with the guards. “Do not let him past, detain him if necessary, this isn’t a public gathering here.”

“That wasn’t a suggestion sir.” The two guards closed on [member="Oka Osaa"] baring his advance. “You have been flagged for inspection, if you would be so kind as to follow us we can get this out of the way quickly and let you be on your way as soon as possible.”
