  • Anomaly #2393459 is located in the southern equator of the planet Kalist VI within walking distance of A City Lost to Time.

Although the southern continent of Kalist is considered to be the coolest region across the planet's surface it is still incredibly hot in the vicinity around this anomalous object. Such are the scorching temperatures that can be recorded during the day time that it becomes inaccessible to Humanoids when the sun is at it's highest because it becomes too hot for anyone to be in the desert that stretches (seemingly endlessly) in all directions coming too or leading away from this place.

At night the temperatures drop to below freezing and regardless of the time of day it is subject to torrential windstorms or sandstorms that can kick up a multitude of debris (such as rocks, sand, dust) that could prove fatal without seeking shelter. It is entirely possible that a skilled climber could navigate the base of the rock, from which the object can be found upon, up to it's mouth and then lower themselves down into it if they were to plan such an excursion to take into account the abnormal weather patterns which make Kalist VI unhabitual to most life forms as well as the esoteric effects placed upon time.
  • Description:
  • Sat atop the base of rock, shaped like a Humanoid's neck and mouth, rests the anomaly. In spite of torrential weather, and decay that could normally be associated to erosion given to time, the anomaly is pristine in spite of the fact that the people who constructed it have long since disappeared. Shapes reminiscent of Human eyes and ears have been carved into the rock to give the overall object the shape of a head. However, where the mouth should be, and parts of the noise, is a wide open jagged gap exposing the innards of something that looks inhumane. It is distinctly alien, and foreboding.
POINTS OF INTEREST

THE MOUNTAINSIDE:-

Kalist-VI-Mountainside.png

Located on Kalist VI's southern continent, where it is the coolest on the planet's surface, is the mountainside. When the sun is at it's highest the mountainside shields those fortunate enough to be caught within it's shadow. Jagged rock and a steep climb to it's summit make it a dangerous proposition even to the most agile and adept of climbers. If one were to make it to the top of it's peak they would bare witness to the seemingly endless and unforgiving landscape of the planet's surface which is entirely made up of desert, dunes and other terrestrial objects much like the mountainside.

Constructed into the rock is a City Lost to Time. Nearby, the anomaly is in walking distance to this long abandoned city, and the mountainside which provides the only refuge or shelter when the son is hot and at it's most torrid.

THE HEAD:-

The Head (according to the visual of most people) is a foreboding object located in the desert. The Force is strong here but does not have an allegiance to neither the light or dark side, and despite it's presence being felt in the vicinity of this anomaly, this place is not a Force Nexus nor is it as powerful as a Vergence in the Force. Therefore the place, according to logic, must be artificial and so was built by someone. Nevertheless it is clear and distinctly felt by those who are Force-sensitive. Time seems to stop here when you are close enough. Approach by day, and no matter how many hours seem to pass, it will remain scorching hot and torrid, with the sun never setting until you find the energy to get away enough to see it set. The same is true for the night time, when the planet, and therefore surrounding landscape, falls below freezing temperatures. Yet, stand at a far enough distance away from the anomaly and the world seems to spin like it would normally do. How odd.

If you were to get close enough to the jagged, cracked gap where the mouth (and parts of the nose) should be, you will see into a place that looks reminiscent of space filled with nebulae and other astronomical phenomena. Although there are no nearby landmarks, signs or even people to warn you otherwise, it becomes quite clear to anyone thinking about climbing into that place will know that they will never come out of it again. At least, that is what most people feel. Humanoids, regardless of their species, are difficult to read. Who knows what will really happen if you dared to climb up and fall in?

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

In 851 ABY a Sith Lord called Darth Ayra Darth Ayra made a pilgrimage to A City Lost to Time (alongside Alicia Drey Alicia Drey ) to free herself from an infection that caused most of her body to become infested by a parasitic weapon that Freedon Nadd would call ' Orbalisks '.

In the hopes of finding a cure for the infection they would, together, explore the abandoned city where Ella Nova Ella Nova would later speculate (half-a-century after their pilgrimage) that they had both failed to discover the technology, medical science, or miracles that became the stuff of myth and legend surrounding a race of Humanoids (referred to by only a few as ' The Builders ' ) where they had sought to cure and subsequently heal Ayra from her infection.

During their exploration of the city it is said that both pilgrims found a man who they referred to as ' The Nomad '. Further speculation (later passed onto Ella Nova Ella Nova by Darth Ayra Darth Ayra as the latter taught the former in the Rule of Two) indicated that this person was the last living survivor, and thereby descendant, of the Humanoid race who were believed to have built
Childhood: a place where pilgrims from across the galaxy would travel to during the Four-Hundred Year Darkness in the hopes of being cured of the Gulag Plague.

After Alicia Drey Alicia Drey cremated Darth Ayra Darth Ayra (as she later subsumed to the infection and died) the Nomad told her about a place located near the city that would be of interest to them. There Ella Nova (a former Jedi Knight, who Ayra freed at the end of the ' One Sith Wars ', and who would later become known by the Sith Lord's alter alias in the Empire of the Lost) travelled to ' The Head ' to scatter Ayra's ashes in the dirt to pay their respects to a woman who, during the height of the Old Republic, had been her enemy, and now, in death, had become her saviour.

After laying Ayra to rest, Nova stole her Sith Holocron from The Nomad and fled Kalist VI. Outside the bounds of the Deep Core she discovered that the Galactic Alliance had been reconstituted after they had defeated the Ninth Sith Empire, or as it is commonly referred to by most, as ' The One Sith ' . Here she would join the Alliance and became a representative to Humbarine as a Senator and would use their position to instigate a terrorist plot during a diplomatic summit on New Alderaan. Nova would be caught during the attack, and was later transferred to the custody of the New Jedi Order, who sentenced the former Knight of the Old Republic to an indefinite time in cryostasis for her crimes, and until such a time that they felt that she could be redeemed back to the Light Side of the Force.

Long after The Nomad left Kalist VI to begin his own pilgrimage (so as to discover the secrets of ever-lasting life) a strange phenomena, speculated to be a form of time paradox, occurred at The Head.

Darth Ayra Darth Ayra , who had subsumed to the Orbalisk infection, and subsequently died from her injuries, appeared in the dirt again. Following Nova out of the Deep Core half-a-century later Ayra discovered that the last surviving Builder had gone onto become a mysterious Sith Lord called Darth Kakus. It is said that Kakus had come to see the errors of the Sith, and after abandoning their ideology, he would go onto form the tenets that led to the creation of Pax Astrum. This religious belief, turned political, would lead to the formation of a new star empire that called itself The Diarchy.

At some unknown point after The Head, somewhere around 900 ABY, when the Empire of the Lost was founded, Ayra would discover Ella Nova Ella Nova . Together they would begin a new Rule of Two which would see them create a conspiracy that stretched across a multitude of star sectors found in the Outer Rim systems, through to the Mid Rim, and across the a newly consecrated Imperial Centre under the domain of the Galactic Empire.
