Weaknesses:
-Death: If an Angelus is killed they become like a Force Ghost, but more like a remnant. Unlike a Force Ghost they have no control when they show up, but they show up when their cause of death repeats. I.E. if they die in a war, they appear only in wars. If they die saving someone's life they show up when a life is indanger, but the flip of the coin is they are weaker each time until they are completely wiped from existence.

-If their wing is removed they are knocked down to half strength until the wing is removed.
-Emotions- Though they are not free from force alignment their emotions make up for it. If they are happy they experience it on a greater level, if anger they feel it on a greater level. Anger would blind them from logic if left unchecked.
-No morality: If the Force asks them to save the Galaxy, they will. If the Force asks them to wipe it clean and destroy the Galaxy they will. Their morality is only one code, listen to the Force. This can be exploited.

History:
Long ago in a Galaxy....this Galaxy, there was the Force. The Force has always been. Before there were Jedi, before there were Sith, before the light side or dark side the Force was just the Force and there were beings to keep the balance. These beings are very mysterious due to no longer existing and the purge of all knowledge of them. It is rumored that these beings had such power with the Force they could create or destroy worlds. This is only half true.
These beings were guardians or balances of the Force. The Force is the light and the dark side and must remain balanced or the Galaxy becomes Chaos. If the Force wanted the Galaxy to be at peace and flourish, the Angelus would protect the peace and serve as advocaters of the Light. If the Light side was becoming stronger or the Galaxy was falling into Chaos, the Angelus would end the chaos even if it meant wiping the Galaxy clean. This is where the rumor of creating or destroying worlds came from; metaphorical.
The Angelus did not use weapons commonly found and were around long before the lightsaber. Instead they used weapons made from Force Crystals. Each Angelus was given a crystal and when they Angelus touched one it became a melee weapon bond to them and would forever stay the same weapon, but they could turn it from weapon to crystal at will. These weapons were extensions of the Angelus and could harness the Angelus power (sword and Force Lightning makes Lightning sword) The unique ability from the weapons was Force Scars. The practitioneer would harness the Force into their weapon and then swing it casing a streak of the Force to be launched from it and cut through a target or ticket substance. (like part of a building. Materials that it could not cut through were Mandalorian Iron, force resistant metals, or armor (unless hit multiple time ie multiple posts)
The Angelus served their roles with honor and some saw them with their great power as gods and a threat to the Galaxy. A Force race similar to the Jedi sought to end the Angelus and a war was created, but the Angelus were superior and were not defeated. During one war, a brave hero sacrifcied their life and found out that if you cut an Angelus wings they would weaken and so began the Purge. This Purge completely wiped out the race, except one member took the cells from a fallen Angelus for studying.
The Angelus kept returning as Force Ghosts and being defeated until they were completely wiped out. The scientist who gained the cells began experimenting, but was quickly found and imprisoned and the cells went missing. 23 years ago, the cells were found again, by a group of Sith. They sith began experimenting and trying to create the perfect warrior, but were not successful, until Hakora. Hakora was born as a pure Echani and when he was born he was injected with the cells. The cells binded and he survived becoming half Echani and Half Angelus Statera. One of the scientists who created him saw that Hakora could grow to destroy the Galaxy if left in the hands of the Sith so he kidnapped Hakora. This man was Alexandra Cinthra's father and raised Hakora as their own with only Alex knowing the truth of Hakora's origins.
During Hakora's Knighthood trail Alex and Hakora went searching for a hidden treasure from their murdered parents. Alex was first to see the treasure was Hakora's Force Crystal. Alex knocked out Hakora before Hakora could see it and hid the crystal in hopes that Hakora would not learn his identity. Hakora is not as powerful as the Angelus Statera and only has a single wing, but he is still powerful in the force and has a fraction of all the strengths and weaknesses.

OCC note: I created this with the idea of," how to create the greatest villain in this Galaxy." The greatest type of villains are the ones that believe their actions are good and one prime example is Sephiroth. Hakora will one day find out about his origin and the force will call him to do something evil with good intentions. I rather keep that secret from public knowledge so PM if this needs to be known by the judge.
