- Name: Anchi’baburu
- Designation: non-sentient
- Origins: Myrkr (extinct on myrkr), Vanquo
- Average Lifespan: 18 years
- Estimated Population: Planetary
- Description: The Anchi’baburu are a green scaleless reptile with a rather pudgy body and a long tail. They all have green eyes, the outer part of the iris being darker than the ring around the pupil. At a glance the Lizard has dark green patches over its body, unless a force sensitive being approaches it then those patches of skin become a bioluminescent red as a reaction. On each foot it has strong nails used for climbing trees or rough rock surfaces. The lower law is longer making visible a row of sharp teeth.

- Average Height of Adults: [F]19cm [M] 14cm
- Average Length of Adults: [F]40cm [M]35cm
- Skin color: Green and can change to red in darker spots.
- Hair color: N/a
- Distinctions:
- The Anchi’baburu are a type of scaleless reptile that prey on animals that are herbivores, large insects and smaller predators, however it is not limited to meat as it can survive off leafy green plants. There is a size difference between male and female Anchi’baburu, that being the females are larger and taller. The females also come off as more dominant and aggressive than males. When in jungle-like terrain they prefer to glide from tree to tree to avoid larger predators on the floor, the only time you can catch them on the ground is when they are in need of water, killing prey or laying clutches of eggs.
When they are not gliding, the extra skin makes them look rather round and some would describe them as grumpy looking. On each foot they have claws that help with climbing rough objects like bark of a tree and rough rocks. They also have long tails that can detach and wriggle about to confuse predators. However it takes about three months to grow back and is the only part of the body on these reptiles that can grow back. - Races:
- Domesticated - The domesticated Anchi’baburu are more tame and less aggressive in nature making for a good pet or asset in the battlefield.
- Wild - More skittish of larger creatures and rather aggressive when approached. They warn other creatures off with a hiss.
- Force Sensitivity: All

- Anchi’baburu possess the ability to counter the Force negating bubbles of Ysalamir allowing anything with force sensitivity to exert influence over the force. The more there are in an area the larger the bubble, much like Ysalamir. A single Anchi'Baburu's bubble tops out to 10 meters.
- They can sense force sensitive creatures that cause spots on their skin to glow red.
- Besides its pudgy looks the lizard is quick on its feet reaching speeds up to 22 mph
- The Anchi’baburu’s extra skin stretches out allowing them to glide long distances.
- Cold environments cause the lizard to slow down and become vastly weak. Prolonged exposure would cause forced hibernation and death after five days.
- When around other force sensitive creatures patches of darker skin turn red with a bioluminescent glow. Which can make them easily seen during the night. Other predators can use this to hunt them.
- Their eggs also glow even brighter due to the clutch being tightly packed. If the Anchi’baburu does not cover their clutch or another animal uncovers it. They will become a quick snack.
- If there is more than three to one Ysalamir the effective area shortens
- 4 to 6 - 8 meters
- 7 to 9 - 6 meters
- 10 to 12 - 3 meters
- 13+ - 1 meter
- The Anchi'baburu are rather gluttonous and requires a lot nutrition due to the constant energy they burn. This means they have a fast metabolism and can quickly become malnourished and die without regular food/care.
- Diet: Omnivore
- Communication: Head bobbing, aggressive hiss
- Technology level: N/A
- Religion/Beliefs: N/A
- General behavior:
- The Anchi’baburu don’t generally raise their young. Once a clutch has been laid and buried the parents move on. They are not a very social creature with their own kind and try to avoid each other until mating season.
- Females show dominance and interest by head bobbing, eventually chasing the male until she can catch him and subdue him. Within eight to ten weeks, the female will dig a nest and lay clutches of up to 50 eggs in a burrow of loose soil. These eggs hatch in 90 days with the bright green babies digging their way out of the soft ground.
- The fundamental role that Anchi’baburu play in the ecosystem is a simple one. As one part of the greater food chain, they prevent overpopulation and provide food for hungry predators, especially when they are young.
- The Anchi’baburu spend most of their time hunting out in the wild their diet mostly meat and insects. Before becoming extinct on Mykr the Anchi’baburu mostly only ate Ysalamir due to them being easy prey.
- Anchi’baburu often stay in the area they are born, they are not known to explore beyond. Domesticated Anchi’baburu see more than its wild kin.
- The Anchi’baburu are diurnal for most of the average year until mating season when they become more nocturnal to make it easier to hide.
The Anchi’baburu originated on Myrkr back in the time of the old republic. Its natural home was mostly jungle and rocky terrain and choice of prey was Ysalamir and other smaller herbivores. In fact the lizards' evolution over generations made them adapt to certain strengths and weaknesses based around hunting and killing the Ysalamir. However this evolution became their downfall. The creature became widely hunted by Vornskr. Some time after the mandalorian wars the lizard was introduced to the world of Vanquo and for a long time was an invasive species. With no natural predator they reproduced rapidly, It was around thirty years later that the Anchi’baburu became extinct on Myrkr.
Since the colonization of Vanquo by the mandalorians of Clan Solus these lizards have even been bred into domestication. Their cute dominer makes for a good pet around the home. The warriors have also experimented with its natural abilities to negate the force to combat Ysalamir in the field.
