An Unwilling Day

It was often said that people who would one day, be the best of friensd, would often meet in the most unfortunate of circumstances. For someone who had lived over 200 years, Krayzen was skeptical about it, mostly because he had never had it happen to him. He did however appreciate the insight such a statement could give.

Csilla, ancient homeworld of the Chiss, and the capital of the Iron Empire had recently become his knew home. He looked over the sky, as he saw snow continuously drop on the planet. Ever since he had returned to known space, he had adjusted to the life in Csilla, although even he had to admit, he hated the snow.

"Does it ever not snow in Csilla?" he asked, some frustration evident in his voice.

"Yes sir, but only for a few days. Most of Csilla throughout the year, as you know, snows. "

The Anzat simply just nodded. He was fortunate enough not to fill the snow due to his cybernetics, and his body was always warm, but even then, the General had to admit that if it were sunny, they could finish building their outpost much more quickly.

As he turned around, he observed the patrol patterns in which he had deployed his troops in the 3D hologram. He had decided to try something unconventional, as the recent assassination attempt on his life by a Sith Assassin(@Krest), as well as on the Emperor([member="Isamu Baelor"]), had left him much more cautious than before, and he began to feel distrust toward his colleagues.

Krayzen continued to observe the construction of the outpost, wondering to himself why he had even taken up such a job.

Alara Slayn

An Existentialist Enigma.
Csilla, Chiss Space

Of all the pretenders to interstellar dominance and righteousness, the Iron Empire was perhaps one of the more subtle. Pretentious as Alara may have thought them, at least they seemed to submit to principles generally revolving around preservation, rather than evangelizing whatever it was that they believed in. The acolyte was visiting the Chiss world this time, not to take out high-value targets, but to do some recon work on this fledgling but nonetheless major faction. Csilla was a cold world, but the unrelenting tundra did have one advantage - it bred the Chiss.

Alara now stood by the foot of what was the beginning of a small range of hills - all covered in snow. Nearby she spied the construction equipment of what was perhaps a new imperial outpost for the Iron Empire on this world, as it it wasn't fortified enough already.

The emperor's tightening the reigns around you Chiss, Alara mumbled to herself as she peered through the thick, snow-laden air with her amber eyes. For the most part she kept to the shadows, preferring to stay completely undetected.

Build activity. It looks like they're rushing to finish this listening post pretty soon.

Krayzen's unconventional patrol movements he had set up had made the building process of the outpost relatively safe. He knew that Chiss extremists did occupy this mountains, although from the intelligence reports, the numbers were few. As he looked in the 3-D hologram, he saw that everything had been done as he specified. That was until Krayzen had noticed something peculiar.

"Come here." Krayzen commanded.

"What is it sir?" the Chiss soldier replied.

"What happened to the soldiers here? Why is it there are a high number of casualties here, but not in other areas around our perimeter!" he yelled.

The Chiss soldier didn't answer, most likely because he didn't have an answer. His eyes were as shocked, perhaps even more shocked than Krayzen.

The Anzat grabbed the DKS-401 armor, along as his standard weaponry, and prepared himself for a fight. There was something mysterious that was going on, something the former Sith Knight would find out.

"Initiate Protocol Alpha. I want a patrol unit to come with me. Notify upper command to send in reinforcements." Krayzen said.

It was time to confront whatever had occurred, and put a stop to it.
