It wasn't often that Valery's assignments brought her back to Coruscant, but when they did, they tended to take much longer than expected. It was supposed to be just another simple mission to uncover a criminal plot forming within the lower levels, but it always escalated fast. So now, it was already late in the evening, and she no longer had the energy to take a ship and travel for hours to get somewhere else.
She was going to have to stay here for the night and find a place to eat something as well. This quickly brought the woman to one of the many cantinas closer to the surface, where she'd be able to rent a room for the night as well.
"One meal of the day, and some water, please. I'd also like to rent a room for the night," Valery said as she stepped up to the barkeeper, still dressed in her usual outfit and with her two lightsabers displayed on her belt. The bartender looked her up and down and chuckled once.
"Don't get Jedi here often."
"I don't plan to make it a habit," Valery said with a soft smile, to which he responded with one of his own, "300 credits, and your meal will be brought to your table," he said and as she paid him, he grabbed a key for her room and placed it in front of her, "Enjoy your stay."
Valery dipped her head once more and finally turned around to lean back against the bar and look around the room. Much of it was the usual — people enjoying drinks and meals after work, the occasional drunk, and some shady types she preferred to avoid for the day. But there was something else too. Something she couldn't see yet, but the feeling in the Force was strange.
