An Odd Alliance

The dark woods of the forest planet blocked out most of the sun, the fading sunset providing only a dim light. All there was to guide him was the glow of his blade and his feel through the force. Shadows moved below every tree sometimes animals, sometimes nondescript plant life or even some human or other species silently watching him from a safe distance. His only thought was his ship, getting back to it safely and as fast as possible was his only prerogative. He had been on this planet long enough, it was time to leave, leave behind his trace of failure and any ties with the Jen'ari Empire. A ghost, a phantom of the night, no one to be mentioned or remembered. His thoughts completely his own as he continued into the night...

Odin had been on this strange planet, acquiring a particular plant for a classified mission, it was at this moment he saw out of the corner of his eye a red blade. Knowing this color matched that of his own blade he decided to follow the figure, being cautious to not be seen.

A single ship entered the outer atmosphere, his contacts had told him a Jedi, or some force users, was headed to this forest planet. The pilot was the last of his people, and was bent on taking revenge, and many of his people had died at the Jedi's hand.

Continuing his journey through the woods, Alec kept his mind and eyes open, searching for a sense, looking for his ship. The darkness held many secrets, it always did. Many of these could be utilized to one's advantage yet some were hindrances, Alec's lack of sight was bothering him, especially lacking his right eye on top of the fact. The glow of his red saber providing minimal comfort from the shadow-scape beyond, Alec felt a tingling beginning at his neck and running down his spine. Another life form, trailing him, following him,but for how long he didn't know. Slightly angered by his dulled senses he whipped around blade ready to strike and mind attuned for battle...

Odin, still keeping watch saw another figure, following the one with the red blade, he stopped abruptly and, knowing the figure in front had a red blade, he took the chance that he was a fellow sith and began to approach the second figure preparing for a duel.

Alan Marek's sensors locked on to an X-Wing class fighter, he would start his search there. Setting his ship down a few miles away he began heading in that direction cautiously, using his years of experience in stealth and evasion; Jedi were fierce enemies, not to be taken lightly.

Marek found the fighter desserted, but the engines were still warm. He set himself up with monitoring equipment about a quarter mile away, setting his trap for the Jedi.

Alec ran at the figure who had just dropped from the trees, full sprint with his saber held behind. Covering the distance quickly as most force users do, Alec was there nearly quicker than the eye could follow. With a yell he brought his saber down toward the man. As the figure blocked, Alec spun counterattacking to the right side with a quick slash followed by a quick jab, both either blocked or evaded by the darkly clad figure. Slightly frustrated, Alec pressed his attack. Who ever had been following him could not have good intentions, Alec would have to take the initiative and kill him first.

Marek's scanner picked two life forms only a mile to the west. Perhaps the Jedi had a Padawan? But no, there was only one ship. The Jedi had no doubt found another enemy, now was the time to strike. Grabbing his rifle and an assortment of explosive devises Marek took off with grim determination, he had done this before, and he would do it again, until all the Jedi were extinct.
