An Afternoon in the Galactic City

"I just suggest you shut up..." growled Senator Brunswick to Ad-Viole-Cloud. Seriousely, that guy was getting on his nerves. And that was saying something when he had just luckily avoided death by mere inches. "Thanks." he said to the Force-user, not as drunk now that he knew his life, as well as his group's was at risk. "No, I'm doing fine... But we need to be cautious now." he muttered, watching his female escort suddenly shoot a few rounds into where the shots came from.

The snipers seem unfazed by the retaliation fire, and simply packed up their snipers and moved to a different position to find a better vantage point. Meanwhile, the assault team would have made it to the ground by now, and would create a half-perimeter around the alleyway where the backdoor was located and primed a couple of flashbang grenades. One of them would toss the grenades while the other two moved to a side entrance and prepared to breach the building, and when the signal was given the one with the flashbangs threw them in through whatever entrance was nearby, the still open door, windows, you name it. When the grenades went off with a blinding flash, the other two would enter through the doorway, and begin to open fire upon both civilians and staff-members, pulling off quick bursts from their blaster rifles and aiming for the head or upper chest, putting down whatever they came across in at least two shots or less as they made their way to the senator's location.

Darren knew that there would be more attemps to kill the Senator. He was not going to let the happen. He was glad that the Senator was alright. Darren had both of the lightsabers in his hands. He heard golass breaking followed by a loud bang. He was stuned for a moment Darren ingnited the blades. Men cam in thought the back way. He used a force push to ram them back out the door. Only one could fit at a time. He closed the door and used another force puch to hit the door at the oncoming men. He turend around to se men coming in though the windows and front door. he pucked up a chari manualy and threw it as a distraction he picked up the chancellor with the force and threw him behind the bar.

He would thank him later for saving him. Darren went to the back door to see two mare men try and come in. He rushed them. The first man tried to fire at him but missed to Darrens dodge. he sliced his head off clean letting ti drop to the floor. Darren followed up on the second man with the choke force. When he crushed his wind pipe. Darren jumpped behind the bar himself and used force shield on himself and the Senator.

The first one would actually survive the lightsaber attack, his http://starwarsrp.net/topic/1643-hydra-s-1-elite-commando-armor/]armor[/url] made of a material resistant to lightsaber blows and would retaliate with a barrage of plasma before retreating back outside. With one of their own slain, the two remaining assassins retreated momentarily to re-strategize and approach from a new vector, using cables to reach a ledge on a building adjacent to the cantina, they produced a new http://starwarsrp.net/topic/789-manticore-sienartech-grenademissile-launcher/]weapon[/url] and set aside their assault rifles. Keeping the weapon in missile mode, they loaded a single missile and fired it into an opening in the cantina, hoping to weaken the structural integrity of the building itself. Meanwhile, the snipers would be picking off civilians that were fleeing the scene, bodies flopping to the ground as their heads exploded in a shower of blood and gore from a well placed sniper round. The one who set up the jammer would be watching the scene unfold from the rooftops, his advanced HUD picking up the death of one of his team and himself organizing the new strategy. The assassins were not defeated, merely setback and their plan belayed slightly. This was far from over.

Delila watched the snipers leave but she doubted they went very far. It was always a dangerous situation,cat-and-mouse. She doubted the attempts on the Senators life were random and no way were they giving up, that was for sure. When two men stormed the room,the Force user quickly dispatched them, quite easily. Delila normally had a distaste for Force users but today it seemed to be coming in handy.

More firing, more bodies hitting the ground. The assassins were firing on civilians, most likely trying to draw out their group. If her and Davin laid down enough cover fire, the Force user and the Senator would have no problems escaping. Just as she was about to suggest her plan, a missile struck the building, dismantling a good portion of it and causing dust to rain down. The building was still shaking as she crawled over to the group.

"There goes one exit. They are going to focus on this one for sure now,unless we see a window off to one of the sides. I say we wait a moment, Davin and I provide cover. Darren and the Senator escape to safety, bring in backup"
