DESCRIPTION
As someone responsible for the wellbeing of his clan and the wider Mandalorian community, Ki'an developed a serum which targeted the short-term memory of users in response to the effects of stress from battle that evidently effected some people. It should be administered by injection as soon as possible after the event as everyone is affected differently and the effects can range from 8-12 hours of memory loss from the first dose which is maintained through further dosage. After this time, it is not advisable to administer as the intended memory will not be forgotten and increasing the potency to do so would be dangerous. Someone who has been administered this drug is usually offered a stimulant to help combat the drowsiness side effect. Memories, though lost to the individual, can be retrieved by a skilled enough Force user.

When modified to decrease potency, the substance can be used to coat darts and when fired at enemies has the potential to temporarily erase memories of the last 6 hours which will then be returned to the affected person 3 hours after the substance has been administered. The drug can cause confusion in enemies which allows for a break in fighting which allows for a non-lethal way of taking them down, making it useful for bounty hunters.

Interesting sub, but I have some concerns. The intent seems like an interesting medical tool for dealing with shell shock victims, but the features seem to indicate something that could be weaponized to make characters completely forget who they are (assuming it gets altered?).

That might be a problem. Could this instead be altered slightly to need multiple doses over a few days to take permanent effect, while long range injections would be limited to the temporary effects?

Also, are the memories completely erased or can they come back with effort? Does this also knock people out when weaponized or just make them forget what they were doing?

I just have one concern with this submission, that being the language is very absolute. As always on Chaos, it is the person who the drug is used on who will determine the effectiveness of its use. As it currently reads the serum appears not to leave any wiggle room for the person it is used upon. Could you soften the language so it is "potentially able to" or is "theoretically capable of"
