A message had been dispatched to the world of Mandalore regarding an offer of assistance to the rebuilding of the planet. The name attached to the message, Vanessa Vantai, was familiar enough, a name that would ring at least somewhat positively with the recipient. Though she had been aligned with the Sith Empire, Vanessa had been most displeased by their choice to turn on an otherwise loyal ally, and had, after the Empire's collapse, sought to assist them how she could. And here Mandalore was being rebuilt yet again, something that the enterprising head of DCMM viewed as a valuable opportunity to engage in some amicable business.

A meeting with one of the Mandalorian leaders would help make this a reality - and perhaps lead to even better relationships in the future.

It wasn't often Drego got business calls. His job as the new warmaster of the Protectors had him swimming in paperwork, and maybe it was that made him interested in this new idea a stranger had proposed to him. Some sort of war simulator. He was sure the foundlings would enjoy it at least.

Anything to help in the reconstruction, he guessed.

For now though, he'd meet with this person. His new office, given to him as part of his new job, sat mostly undecorated. Whomever this person was, they offered credits. Now he'd just have to wait for them.

The blonde woman who entered the room offered Drego a smile as well as a handshake. “Thank you for accepting my message. Vanessa Vantai, of Defiance Consolidated Multipurpose Manufacturing.” She said, in a cordial mood to say the least. There were a number of aliases she felt capable of using even today, and this one was well established, the only alias directly associated with the Mandalorians in any sort of positive sense.

“I recently returned from a corporate sabbatical to find that Mandalore was looking for… significant investment capital, to say the least, and wanted to see if perhaps we could come to something that could provide both a trifle for myself as well as provide the Mandalorian Protectors with the capital and resources they need to restore their world to its former glory.” She smiled, taking out a datapad from within her robes. The question now was what they could come up with.
