STRENGTHS
  • High-Capacity Rapid Troop Transport - Designed to carry up to 800 Mandalorians and 200 Droids alongside heavy equipment, the Shaadlar-type enables mass deployment of ground forces in a single landing cycle. The Shaadlar-type can also be modified to carry speeder bikes, light walkers, and light repulsorlifts along with a smaller complement of Mandalorians and Droids.
  • Enhanced Defensive Survivability - Layered Mandalorian iron hull plating, redundant shield generators, and a damage-reduction system allow the vessel to withstand sustained orbital and atmospheric fire during contested landings.
  • Improved Speed for a Troopship - Upgraded ion drives and mass-optimized internal layout allow the Shaadlar-type to reach landing zones faster than most transports of comparable size, reducing exposure to enemy interdiction.
  • Effective Landing-Zone Suppression Armament - Turbolasers, ion cannons, missile launchers, and concussion and fragmentation munitions provide reliable bombardment of fortifications, anti-air batteries, and armored ground targets during deployment.
  • Stable Six-Leg Landing Platform - Six heavy landing struts distribute the ship's mass evenly, allowing safe touchdowns on uneven terrain, urban rubble, snowfields, and partially prepared landing zones.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Starfighter Hangar Capacity - The Shaadlar-type cannot deploy or recover fighter squadrons, leaving it dependent on escort carriers or fleet protection.
  • No Single-Craft Docking Facility - Inability to host shuttles or gunships limits resupply flexibility, casualty evacuation options, and special-operations deployment.
  • Only Average Ship-to-Ship Firepower - Its weapons are optimized for surface bombardment and suppression rather than prolonged engagements with warships.
  • Large Target Profile - The wide troop compartments and reinforced hull create a massive sensor and visual signature, making the ship easy to track during approach.
  • Vulnerable During Planetfall - Despite strong defenses, the descent phase concentrates the ship's trajectory and limits evasive options, making it susceptible to coordinated anti-air fire.
  • High Strategic Value Loss Risk - Destruction of a fully loaded Shaadlar-type represents catastrophic personnel and materiel losses.
  • Leg Assemblies Are Structural Weak Points - Damage to the six landing struts can prevent safe touchdown or takeoff, potentially trapping the vessel planetside.
DESCRIPTION
The Shaadlar-type Troopship is the Mandalorian Empire's primary instrument for large-scale planetary insertion. Extensively modernized by Aether Systems, the updated design abandons the concept of a lightly protected transport in favor of a fast, armored assault carrier capable of delivering entire battalions directly into hostile territory. Measuring 130 meters in length, the Shaadlar-type is built around vast internal troop decks, armored cargo bays, and vehicle holds rather than hangars or flight operations facilities. Every cubic meter not dedicated to personnel or supplies is allocated to shielding systems, structural reinforcement, and propulsion upgrades, giving the vessel unusually high speed and maneuverability for its size class.

During combat landings, the ship functions as both transport and fire-support platform. Its turbolasers and missile systems are tuned for suppressing surface defenses, crippling shield generators, and neutralizing anti-air emplacements in the moments leading up to touchdown. Ion cannons disable hostile armor and power grids, allowing Mandalorian forces to disembark into controlled kill-zones rather than contested chaos.

The vessel's most recognizable feature is its six-legged landing system, inspired by the original Basilisk design that was more insectoid in appearance. These massive reinforced struts extend from the underside of the hull, lifting the ship clear of unstable terrain and distributing its weight across a wide footprint. This allows the Shaadlar-type to land in dense urban environments, shattered battlefields, icy tundra, or rocky deserts where conventional landing pads are unavailable or destroyed.

Once grounded, the ship effectively becomes a fortified forward base. Troop ramps deploy from multiple levels, cargo elevators unload vehicles and heavy weapons, and internal command decks coordinate surface operations. With a year's worth of consumables and extensive cargo storage, the Shaadlar-type can sustain prolonged campaigns without immediate resupply. In Mandalorian hands, the Shaadlar-type is not merely a transport. It is a falling fortress - a warship designed to descend through fire, crush into hostile soil, and disgorge an army at the exact point the enemy least wants it.

blQsPJr.png

STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Gunship-Grade Firepower - Despite its compact size, the Shereshoy-type mounts a weapon package comparable to much larger patrol craft, including heavy laser cannons, rotating blasters, proton torpedoes, and a ventral turret, allowing it to overpower starfighters and light freighters with sustained frontal and all-angle fire.
  • Exceptional Durability for Its Class - Layered Mandalorian iron composites, carbon-durasteel armor, redundant shields, and a damage reduction system give the ship survivability far beyond standard assault ships, allowing it to remain combat-effective after taking punishment that would cripple similar vessels.
  • High Speed and Pursuit Maneuverability - Upgraded engines, inertial compensation, and reinforced structural bracing allow the Shereshoy-type to rapidly close distances, maintain pursuit through asteroid fields or atmosphere, and execute aggressive attack runs ideal for interception and capture missions.
  • Anti-Electronic Warfare Resilience - The integrated Cap Drain device enables the ship to counter Conner Nets, EMP effects, and power-disruption weapons by forcibly restoring systems' energy flow, making it unusually resistant to capture or immobilization tactics commonly used against bounty hunters and patrol craft.
  • Prisoner Capture and Transport Capability - Its onboard carbon-freezing chamber allows up to six high-value targets to be immobilized indefinitely, enabling long-range transport of dangerous or Force-sensitive prisoners without the need for additional escort vessels.
WEAKNESSES
  • Solo Deployment - Designed to operate as a single vessel per squadron, the Shereshoy-type lacks the mutual defensive coverage and overlapping sensor networks of multi-ship formations, making it vulnerable to coordinated enemy squadrons or massed fighter attacks.
  • Restricted Passenger and Troop Transport - Although capable of carrying prisoners, its small interior volume limits troop deployment, boarding parties, or evacuation operations, reducing flexibility during prolonged planetary assaults or large-scale engagements.
  • High Maintenance Demands - Advanced armor composites, redundant shielding, and specialized systems such as the Cap Drain and carbon-freezing chamber require frequent calibration and skilled technicians, increasing downtime and operational costs.
  • Limited Heavy Strike Capability Against Capital Ships - While dangerous to starfighters and light vessels, its torpedo load and reactor output are insufficient to threaten properly shielded frigates or capital ships without external support.
  • Internal Space Prioritized for Systems Over Comfort - The dense concentration of weapons, armor, and electronics leaves little room for crew amenities, making long deployments physically taxing for pilots and reducing combat efficiency over extended missions.
DESCRIPTION
The Shereshoy-type Assault Ship is a heavily modernized derivative of the venerable ST-70 platform, re-engineered by Aether Systems to meet the brutal operational doctrines of the Mandalorian Empire. Designed as a hybrid gunship and assault craft, it fills the niche between starfighter and corvette, serving as both a local patrol vessel and a fearsome bounty-hunter interceptor. Externally, the ship retains the rugged, angular profile of its predecessor, but beneath its hull lies a dense framework of duralloy and titanium reinforced with Mandalorian iron composites and carbon-durasteel plating. This construction grants the Shereshoy-type a level of durability rare among vessels of its size, allowing it to endure sustained engagements in environments where conventional patrol ships would be forced to disengage.

Its weapons layout emphasizes aggressive forward assaults and all-directional coverage. Heavy laser cannons form the core of its frontal battery, supported by twin rotating blasters for anti-fighter defense, a ventral turret for ground-attack or pursuit suppression, and assault-grade proton torpedoes for cracking hardened targets. Defensive countermeasures, including missile deactivation transmitters, chaff, flares, and layered shielding, further reinforce its reputation as a difficult ship to disable.

A defining feature of the Shereshoy-type is its specialized bounty-hunting and capture suite. The integrated carbon-freezing chamber allows operators to secure up to six prisoners in suspended animation, ensuring safe transport of dangerous targets across hostile regions. Complementing this capability is the ship's Cap Drain system, which enables it to rapidly recover from energy-disrupting weapons such as Conner Nets and EMP blasts, preventing immobilization during high-risk pursuits.

Though typically piloted by a single operator, the Shereshoy-type is designed to function as a self-contained hunter-killer platform. Long-range sensors, tractor beams, and extended consumables allow it to patrol frontier systems for months at a time, enforcing local security or tracking high-value bounties without external support. In Mandalorian service, the Shereshoy-type has earned a reputation as a relentless enforcer - too heavily armed to ignore, too resilient to destroy easily, and too fast to outrun - an unmistakable symbol of authority in contested space lanes and lawless systems alike.

STRENGTHS
  • High-Speed Escort Capability - The Arquitens-type's powerful ion engines and refined maneuvering thrusters allow it to keep pace with fast carrier groups, rapidly reposition within a battlespace, and respond to threats far quicker than most cruisers of comparable size.
  • Large Light-Carrier Hangar Capacity - With hangar space for a full wing of starfighters and a squadron of support craft, the vessel can project fighter coverage, conduct reconnaissance, perform rapid-response interceptions, and support fleet operations well beyond the limits of its own weapon range.
  • Flexible Multi-Role Command Platform - Outfitted with advanced communications suites, holotransmission systems, and fleet coordination software, the ship can function as a sector patrol flagship or temporary command cruiser, directing both starfighter operations and escort formations.
  • Excellent Anti-Starfighter Defense Network - While its heavy armament is limited, its dense grid of point-defense cannons, quad lasers, antimissile systems, and missile deactivation transmitters makes it extremely effective at protecting itself and nearby vessels from bomber and missile saturation attacks.
  • Durable Mandalorian-Enhanced Construction - Reinforced beskar-alloy hull sections, carbon-durasteel armor, and a damage reduction system provide resilience beyond that of its predecessor Arquitens-class vessels, allowing it to endure prolonged escort duties under hostile fire.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very Limited Capital-Grade Firepower - With only a small number of heavy turbolasers, the ship lacks the offensive output required to engage enemy cruisers or capital ships directly and must rely on starfighters or heavier allies for major engagements.
  • Average Defensive Shielding for Its Size - Although reinforced, its shield generators are not rated for sustained capital-ship duels, making prolonged exposure to heavy turbolaser fire dangerous despite its armored hull.
  • Heavy Dependence on Starfighter Wings - Much of its combat effectiveness relies on embarked squadrons; if its hangars are damaged or its fighters neutralized, the ship's battlefield influence drops sharply.
  • Vulnerability During Launch and Recovery Operations - While deploying or retrieving starfighters, portions of the hangar structure and internal traffic corridors become exposed, temporarily reducing defensive coverage and increasing risk during combat.
  • Not Suited for Frontline Fleet Actions - The ship is optimized for escort, patrol, and command support rather than line-of-battle engagements, making it ill-suited to serve as a primary combatant in major fleet clashes.
DESCRIPTION
The Arquitens-type Light Cruiser represents a comprehensive modernization of the venerable Arquitens design, refocused by Aether Systems to meet the Mandalorian Empire's need for fast, adaptable escort and command vessels capable of independent operations across contested space. Stretched to six hundred meters and extensively reworked internally, this variant trades traditional cruiser-lever firepower for superior mobility, expanded hangar capacity, and advanced fleet coordination systems. Its sleek profile and reinforced engine assemblies allow it to maneuver with surprising agility for a vessel of its size, enabling it to screen capital ships, intercept hostile formations, or rapidly redeploy between engagements.

Unlike standard light cruisers, the Arquitens-type functions as a true hybrid platform. Its internal hangar complex can accommodate a full wing of starfighters alongside a dedicated support squadron, allowing it to act as a mobile fighter base during patrol operations or as a force multiplier within carrier task groups. This capability makes the ship particularly valuable in frontier regions where dedicated fleet carriers are scarce or impractical to deploy. In its role as a command cruiser, the vessel is equipped with enhanced sensor arrays, holocommunications, and fleet management suites, allowing it to coordinate escort formations, direct starfighter engagements, and serve as a forward operational headquarters for Mandalorian battlegroups.

Defensively, the cruiser relies on layered armor, redundant shields, and an extensive anti-fighter and anti-missile network rather than brute-force weaponry. While incapable of standing toe-to-toe with heavier warships, it excels at protecting vital assets, suppressing enemy strike craft, and maintaining tactical control of fast-moving engagements. Within the Mandalorian fleet, the Arquitens-type is regarded as a cornerstone escort and command vessel - swift, versatile, and strategically indispensable - bridging the gap between frontline capital ships and the starfighter squadrons that dominate many large fleet engagements.

STRENGTHS
  • Exceptional Defensive Survivability for Its Size - Layered Mandalorian iron plating, carbon-durasteel armor, redundant deflector shields, and a damage-reduction system allow the vessel to absorb punishment far beyond what most light cruisers or raiders can endure, enabling it to remain operational while under sustained fire.
  • High Speed and Maneuverability - Powerful ion drives, reinforced inertial compensation, and a streamlined hull profile give the ship rapid acceleration and tight handling, allowing it to outmaneuver heavier warships, disengage from superior forces, or overtake most civilian and military transports.
  • Dedicated Boarding and Capture Capability - Assault tubes, heavy tractor beams, and plasma-cut boarding devices allow the cruiser to forcible breach disabled vessels, delivering its contingent of Mandalorian shock troops and droids directly into enemy hulls for rapid seizure of ships, cargo, or prisoners.
  • Starfighter Carrier Flexibility - External racks for a full squadron and an internal hangar for a utility craft allow the ship to provide reconnaissance, interception, and escort coverage while remaining far smaller and faster than traditional carriers.
  • Low Crew Requirements Through Automation - Extensive shipwide automation, advanced damage control systems, and integrated fire-control networks reduce required crew size, lowering life-support demand, training costs, and operational logistics while maintaining combat effectiveness.
  • Strong Raiding and Interdiction Utility - High cargo capacity, long-range sensors, fast hyperdrive response, and tractor beam arrays make the cruiser well-suited for convoy interception, rapid loot extraction, and extended piracy or privateer-style operations.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very Limited Heavy Firepower - With only two quad turbolasers and light torpedo armament, the ship lacks the offensive output to threaten proper capital ships or fortified stations without additional bomber or fleet support.
  • Reliance on Boarding Success - Its combat profile favors disabling and capturing targets; if enemy vessels resist boarding or maintain shield integrity, the cruiser's effectiveness drops sharply.
  • Vulnerability of External Starfighter Racks - Carried squadrons are partially exposed while docked externally, making them susceptible to damage from flak, debris, or precision strikes before launch.
  • Limited Internal Hangar Space - Only a single craft can be stored internally, restricting repair, refit, or recovery operations for damaged fighters during extended missions.
  • Small Boarding Detachment - While elite, the 20 Mandalorians and 10 Battle Droids are insufficient for seizing large or heavily defended vessels without prolonged engagements or additional support.
  • Automation Vulnerability - Heavy reliance on automed systems makes the ship more susceptible to advanced slicing, electronic warfare, or strikes from Ion-based and EMP-based weaponry.
  • Not Designed for Line-of-Battle Combat - Despite strong defenses, the vessel lacks the sustained firepower and reactor output to function effectively in fleet-line engagements against true warships.
DESCRIPTION
The Gozanti-type Light Cruiser is a heavily modernized Mandalorian reinterpretation of the venerable Gozanit design, engineered by Aether Systems to fulfill a specialized hybrid role as a fast raiding vessel, fleet support ship, and compact starfighter carrier. Unlike traditional light cruisers built around direct firepower, this variant prioritizes survivability, speed, and operational flexibility. Its hull is extensively reinforced with Mandalorian iron composites, carbon-durasteel armor, and layered shielding, allowing it to survive encounters that would cripple civilian-grade cruisers or older patrol conversions. Combined with a damage-reduction system and redundant shield generators, the ship is optimized to remain intact long enough to disengage, reposition, or complete boarding operations.

The cruiser's propulsion system is tuned for rapid interception and evasive maneuvering, enabling it to chase down convoys, outrun heavier warships, and weave through asteroid fields or dense orbital traffic with relative ease. This mobility forms the backbone of its raiding technique - strike quickly, disable the target, deploy boarding forces, and withdraw before enemy reinforcements arrive. Starfighter support is provided through a set of reinforced external docking racks capable of carrying a full squadron, supplemented by a small internal hangar for a shuttle, gunship, or utility craft. While modest compared to true carriers, this capability allows the vessel to project fighter screens, conduct reconnaissance, and provide limited air superiority during raids or escort missions.

Its most distinctive feature is its boarding specialization. Heavy tractor beam projectors lock targets in place while assault tubes equipped with plasma-cut boarding devices carve entry points through enemy hulls. Once breached, a compact but elite detachment of Mandalorian warriors and Battle Droids storms critical compartments, aiming to seize control of the bridge, engineering sections, or cargo holds with ruthless efficiency. Internally, the cruiser is designed around automation. Advanced navigation, gunnery control, damage response, and engineering systems reduce the need for large crews, allowing the ship to operate with a relatively small complement while maintaining full functionality. This not only lowers logistical strain but also frees internal volume for cargo, prisoners, and boarding equipment.

Within the Mandalorian fleet, the Gozanti-type Light Cruiser is regarded as a precision tool rather than a blunt instrument - a fast, resilient predator that thrives on disruption, capture, and rapid force projection. While ill-suited for standing battles against capital ships, it excels at destabilizing supply lines, hunting isolated targets, and supporting larger fleet actions from the periphery, embodying a preference for tactical dominance through speed, resilience, and calculated aggression.

STRENGTHS
  • Extremely Heavy Starfighter-Grade Firepower - With four heavy laser cannons, four ion cannons, concussion missiles, and a large homing missile payload, the Cabur-type can cripple bombers, disable corvettes, or overwhelm most starfighters in a single attack pass.
  • High-Speed and Intercept Performance - Advanced drive engines, sublight acceleration systems, and thrust-vectoring control enable the craft to rapidly close distances, disengage at will, or conduct high-speed pursuit and interception missions.
  • Excellent Maneuverability for a Heavy Fighter - Despite its weapon mass, the reinforced inertial compensators and agile control surfaces allow it to dogfight effectively against light fighters when flown by skilled pilots.
  • Multirole Mission Flexibility - Equally effective as a space-superiority fighter, bomber, interceptor, strike craft, or escort, the Cabur-type reduces the need for specialized squadrons and simplifies carrier force composition.
  • Strong Anti-Ship Disabling Capability - Its ion cannons and missile loadout allow it to neutralize shields, engines, and weapon systems on transports and light warships, making it ideal for capture operations and coordinated fleet assaults.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very Low Defensive Protection - Minimal armor plating and limited shield strength leave the Cabur-type highly vulnerable to sustained laser fire, flak, or proximity detonations.
  • Small Squadron Size - With only eight craft per squadron, losses are difficult to replace quickly, and formations lack the numerical dominance of standard twelve-fighter units.
  • Reduced Effectiveness After Ammunition Depletion - Once missiles and concussion weapons are expended, the craft's strike capability drops sharply against hardened targets.
  • Larger Target Profile - Its size and weapon protrusions make it easier to track and target than smaller interceptors, particularly in dense combat environments.
  • Crew Vulnerability - With three crew members and little internal protection, cockpit penetration often results in immediate mission failure or total loss.
DESCRIPTION
The Cabur-type Starfighter is a Mandalorian-engineered evolution of the original Cabur-class design, rebuilt by Aether Systems to serve as a brutally efficient multirole combat platform capable of fulfilling the roles of interceptor, heavy fighter, and strike craft within a single frame. Where traditional starfighters favor speed or agility at the expense of firepower, the Cabur-type embraces excess. Its reinforced weapons pylons mount an arsenal more commonly associated with light gunships - heavy laser cannons for sustained dogfighting, ion cannons for subsystem neutralization, and a formidable missile loadout designed to overwhelm shields or obliterate hardened targets in coordinated volleys.

Despite its mass, the craft retains high maneuverability through aggressive engine tuning, inertial compensation, and sublight acceleration motors, allowing skilled pilots to engage lighter fighters on nearly equal terms while maintaining the speed required for interception or deep strike missions. Defensively, the Cabur-type makes deliberate compromises. Armor and shield strength are kept minimal to preserve speed and weapon capacity, relying instead on countermeasures, damage-reduction systems, and pilot skill to survive engagements. As a result, the fighter is devastating in short, violent encounters but poorly suited to prolonged attrition warfare.

The Mandalorian Empire deploys the Cabur-type in compact eight-ship squadrons, emphasizing precision strikes, rapid fleet support, and the neutralization of high-value targets such as bombers, corvettes, and command craft. These squadrons are frequently used to punch holes in enemy formations, disable escort vessels, or spearhead boarding operations by crippling a target before capture.

Among Mandalorian pilots, the Cabur-type has earned a reputation as both a predator and a liability - unmatched in offensive potential for its size, yet unforgiving to those who overstay their attack runs. In the hands of veterans, however, it is regarded as one of the most dangerous strike fighters; a fast-moving weapons platform designed to end battles before the enemy can properly respond.

STRENGTHS
  • Exceptional Defensive Survivability - Layered deflector and ion shields, reinforced Mandalorian iron hull plating, carbon-durasteel armor, and a damage reduction system allow the Pursuer-type to endure sustained punishment far beyond most ships of its size.
  • Purpose-Built Prisoner Containment Systems - Five individual holding cells, a dedicated carbon-freezing chamber for up to ten prisoners, and two integrated force cages allow the vessel to securely transport everything from petty criminals to highly dangerous Force-sensitive individuals.
  • High-Speed Pursuit and Maneuver Combat Profile - Mil-Star IV engines, x41 maneuvering thrusters, and a Class 1 hyperdrive give the ship outstanding sublight agility and hyperspace response time, ideal for chasing smugglers, pirates, and bounty targets across system borders.
  • Advanced Law Enforcement Sensor & Surveillance Suite - Hyperwave interception, broadcast relays, holocams, weapon detectors, and multi-layer sensor arrays provide unmatched situational awareness, tracking, and evidence-gathering capability during arrests and interdictions.
  • Psychological Deterrence Factor - Knowledge that these vessels are equipped with a carbon-freezing chamber, force cages, and their reputation for inescapable detention often compels targets to surrender without prolonged engagements.
WEAKNESSES
  • Minimal Direct Firepower - With very limited weapon systems, the ship is poorly suited for stand-up combat against dedicated warships or heavy starfighters and must rely on defenses, tractor beams, or allied support.
  • Structural Vulnerability in Support Strut Assembly - The large support strut linking the main fuselage to the maneuvering thruster stabilizer brace represents a critical weak point; concentrated fire or collision damage here can severely impair mobility or cause partial structural failure.
  • No Squadron Redundancy - Deployed only as a single-ship unit, the loss or disabling of a Pursuer-type leaves no immediate replacement craft within its operational squadron, reducing mission resilience.
  • Heavy Internal Volume Dedicated to Detention Systems - Large portions of the hull are consumed by cells, carbon-freezing equipment, and security infrastructure, limiting modular upgrades, weapon expansion, or additional modifications.
  • Reduced Effectiveness in Fleet Engagements - The ship's design philosophy favors capture and enforcement over combat dominance, making it ill-suited for line battles or large-scale fleet warfare.
DESCRIPTION
The Pursuer-type Enforcement Ship is a heavily specialized evolution of the classic Pursuer-class design, reengineered by Aether Systems to serve as a premier bounty hunting, prisoner transport, and law enforcement platform for the Mandalorian Empire. Unlike traditional patrol craft that emphasize overwhelming firepower, the Pursuer-type focuses on control, survivability, and capture. Its reinforced hull, advanced shielding systems, and layered defensive technologies allow it to survive encounters that would cripple most ships of comparable size, while its high-performance engines and maneuvering thrusters make it a relentless hunter across both subspace and hyperspace.

Internally, the vessel resembles a mobile detention complex more than a conventional starship. Individual holding cells line its secure decks, while a fully integrated carbon-freezing chamber enables the long-term transport of up to ten additional prisoners in suspended animation. Two dedicated force cages provide containment for Jedi, Sith, or other Force-sensitive detainees, ensuring even the most dangerous quarry remains secured. Rather than destroying targets, the Pursuer-type disables them. Heavy tractor beams and advanced sensor tracking allow it to halt fleeing ships, isolate engines, and conduct boarding actions with methodical precision. Once captured, prisoners are processed, restrained, and cataloged under constant surveillance from internal holocames and security sensors.

However, this specialization comes at a cost. Its light armament forces it to avoid direct engagements with military-grade opponents, and a prominent structural support strut linking the fuselage to the thruster assembly presents a known vulnerability under concentrated fire. Additionally, operating as a lone vessel without squadron support leaves little margin for error.

In Mandalorian service, the Pursuer-type has earned a reputation not as a battlefield predator - but as an inescapable warden of the void, a ship whose arrival marks the end of the hunt and the beginning of captivity.

STRENGTHS
  • Extreme Close-Quarters Lethality - The reinforced four-digit manipulator claws can tear through infantry, powered armor, light vehicles, and even starfighter hull plating, compensating for the droid's limited ranged weapons.
  • Very High Speed and Maneuverability - Upgraded repulsorlift and sublight engines allow rapid acceleration, sharp turns, and agile low-altitude or ground movement, making the unit difficult to track or target.
  • Exceptional Durability - Layered Mandalorian iron alloys, starfighter-grade shielding, and a field disruptor provide strong resistance to blasters, plasma weapons, ballistics, and shrapnel.
  • Psychological Warfare Capability - The Shriek-hawk sound emitter induces fear, hesitation, and battlefield disorganization, particularly among inexperienced troops and organic mounts.
  • Semi-Sentient Adaptive Behavior - With intelligence comparable to a dog or young child, the droid can learn terrain, recognize recurring threats, protect its rider, and adapt to changing combat conditions.
  • Space and Zero-Gravity Effectiveness - Designed to function optimally in a vacuum and microgravity, it excels in orbital insertions, boarding actions, and hull-to-hull combat.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Ranged Firepower - Compared to other Basilisk variants, its offensive capability at medium and long range is modest, forcing reliance on closing distance to engage effectively.
  • Vulnerability to Ion and EMP Weaponry - Despite internal agrinium shielding to provide additional protection against radiation and EMP-based attacks, electrical and ionized attacks can severely disrupt or disable its systems, bypassing much of its conventional armor protection.
  • Low Resistance to Lightsabers - Jedi or Sith equipped with lightsabers can penetrate their armor and shielding far more easily than standard infantry weapons.
  • Emotional Bonding Instability - If its pilot is killed, the droid may become erratic, overly aggressive, withdrawn, or unresponsive, reducing tactical reliability until recalibrated.
  • High Maintenance Complexity - Dense armor layers, shield systems, and advanced processors require specialized Mandalorian facilities and skilled technicians to repair and maintain.
  • Large Physical Profile - Despite being light for its class, its size makes concealment difficult and increases vulnerability to heavy weapons in open terrain.
DESCRIPTION
The Jai'galaar-type Basilisk War Droid is a specialized Mandalorian assault mount engineered for shock warfare, rapid strikes, and brutal close-quarters dominance. Unlike traditional Basilisk variants that emphasize heavy integrated weaponry, the Jai'galaar model sacrifices extensive armament in favor of superior speed, agility, and reinforced structural defenses. Its primary weapons are its massive four-digit manipulator claws, capable of tearing through armored troops, light vehicles, and fortified positions with savage efficiency. These claws, combined with its quadrupedal stability and repulsorlift-assisted mobility, allow it to pounce, grapple, and dismantle targets in seconds before disengaging or redirecting to the next threat.

True to its name, the droid is equipped with a specialized sound emitter that replicates the piercing cry of the Shriek-hawk, also known as the Jai'galaar. This artificial scream is often unleashed moments before an attack, sowing panic, breaking formations, and psychologically softening enemies before physical contact is made.

Unlike most war machines, the Jai'galaar-type is semi-sentient. Its advanced personality matrix and heuristic processors grant it intelligence comparable to that of a trained animal or very young child. It can recognize its rider, respond to tone and gesture, display territorial behavior, and even exhibit loyalty. Field reports note that some units show signs of distress or grief when their pilot is killed, occasionally refusing new riders or entering unstable behavioral states until memory conditioning is performed.

To the Mandalorians, the Jai'galaar is not merely a droid or vehicle of conveyance, but a war-beast of steel - an aggressive, fiercely protective companion designed to crash through enemy lines, scatter defenders with terror, and leave only twisted wreckage in its wake.

  • Tactical Inflexibility - The Kyr'bes is best suited to frontal assault and siege warfare, as its titanic size makes it less effective in reconnaissance, rapid response, or pursuit missions.
  • Vulnerable to Coordinated Ion Attacks - Although resistant to conventional weapons, and despite internal agrinium shielding to provide additional protection against radiation and EMP-based attacks, sustained Ion-based or EMP-based strikes can still cripple key systems.
  • Cold and Radiation Susceptibility - Sub-zero environments and heavy radiation zones can degrade internal systems faster than on more specialized and shielded Basilisk models.
  • Risk of Collateral Damage - Its firepower can devastate friendly positions if misdirected or emotionally compromised.
DESCRIPTION
The Kyr'bes-type Basilisk War Droid is a walking apocalypse engine - an armored siege beast forged in Mandalorian Iron and designed to embody unstoppable destruction. Where lighter Basilisk variants rely on speed and precision, the Kyr'bes advances like a mobile fortress, slow but inexorable, drowning the battlefield in fire and thunder. Its towering quadrupedal frame carries an arsenal rivaling that of a small warship - missile racks, turbolasers, sonic cannons, ion weaponry, and pulse-wave artillery embedded across its armored hull. At range, it unleashes this devastating arsenal, enabling it to dominate airspace and ground targets simultaneously. When enemies survive its barrages, they face its most feared feature - two colossal five-digit manipulator claws, capable of crushing walkers, tearing open bunkers, or dismantling starships during boarding operations.

Adding to its terror is a specialized acoustic emitter that recreates the thunderous subterranean roar of the Trinitaur, a legendary creature believed to have stalked the depths of Mandalore after the Great Purge. Veterans describe the sound as something felt in the bones more than heard, often preceding mass panic or desertion among enemy troops, which often mistakes its arrival for the approach of something alive, ancient, and unstoppable.

Despite its monstrous presence, the Kyr'bes is not mindless. Its semi-sentient droid brain grants it the intelligence of a trained animal or small child. It recognizes its rider as pack-leader and protector, displaying loyalty bordering on emotional attachment. They have been known to show emotional reactions to praise or distress, and often form powerful bonds with their rider over time. When a pilot falls, the droid has been recorded releasing prolonged, echoing roars - an imitation of grief - before either charging recklessly into enemy lines, withdrawing into near-silence, or fiercely protecting the body of its pilot, refusing to leave their side even in death.

Due to its extreme size, weight, and resource demands, the Kyr'bes-type is produced only in limited numbers. Each unit is treated less as equipment and more as a strategic asset - a living siege engine of Mandalorian Iron and code, unleashed only when Mandalore intends to remind the galaxy what true war sounds like as cities are shattered, fortresses erased, and enemy morale broken beyond recovery.

Where it walks, the ground trembles.
Where it roars, armies falter.
And where it stops... nothing remains standing.

STRENGTHS
  • Devastating Bomber Payload - These droids are known to carry an extensive complement of missiles, proton bombs, and seismic charges, which are capable of leveling fortified positions, armored columns, and starship installations in a single attack run.
  • Extremely High Sustained Firepower - Multiple heavy cannons, missile systems, and auxiliary weapons allow continuous bombardment without immediate rearmament.
  • Heavy Defensive Construction - Layered Mandalorian iron alloys, reinforced internal structure, starfighter-grade shields, and a damage reduction system provide the Bes'bavar exceptional survivability under intense fire.
  • Psychological Warfare Capability - The Drexl sound emitter reproduces the shrieking cry of the Dxun predator, often triggering fear responses, broken formations, and reduced enemy morale.
  • Semi-sentient Adaptive Intelligence - Like previous Basilisk War Droids, the Bes'bavar is capable of learning terrain patterns, recognizing hostile behavior, prioritizing targets, and protecting its riders autonomously.
  • Strong Rider Bonding Behavior - The Bes'bavar is known to form protective emotional attachments to both pilot and gunner, increasing battlefield cohesion and reaction speed in combat scenarios.
  • Modular Weapons Architecture - Armaments can be reconfigured for strategic bombing, saturation strikes, or electronic-warfare-heavy loadouts.
  • Dual-Crew Combat Efficiency - Separate pilot and dedicated gunner enable superior situational awareness, targeting accuracy, and weapon management compared to single-rider Basilisk War Droids.
WEAKNESSES
  • Very Low Speed - The Bes'bavar is incapable of rapid pursuit, interception, or disengagement from fast aerial or starfighter-class targets.
  • Poor Maneuverability - These droids struggle with tight turns, dense urban environments, asteroid fields, and complex terrain more than lighter, more agile Basilisk variants.
  • Vulnerability to Ion and EMP Weaponry - Although resistant to conventional weapons, and despite internal agrinium shielding to provide additional protection against radiation and EMP-based attacks, electrical disruption can bypass armor and severely degrade or disable the systems of these droids.
  • Low Resistance to Lightsabers - Jedi, Sith, or Force-users equipped with lightsabers can breach armor plating in close combat with relative ease, far more easily than standard infantry weapons.
  • Ineffective in Close-Quarters Combat - The Bes'bavar lacks the agility and limb dexterity of lighter Basilisk variants and is more suited for bomber and strike roles.
  • Emotional Instability Upon Rider Death - These droids will often halt combat operations to emit prolonged Drexl-like howls, become aggressive, or become unresponsive, often protecting or refusing to leave the body of their deceased pilot or gunner. Some have noted that in the case where both pilot and gunner have died, the droid will often depart the area with the bodies, only to be found in remote regions of a star system or deep space, months or years later.
  • Large and Conspicuous Target Profile - Its size and heat signature make concealment nearly impossible.
  • Terrain Limitations - The Bes'bavar is known to perform poorly in forests, caves, narrow canyons, or unstable ground where it has the potential to become stuck or easily ambushed.
DESCRIPTION
The Bes'bavar-type Basilisk War Droid is a heavy strike platform engineered to serve as the Mandalorian Empire's airborne siege engine and terror bomber. Where lighter Basilisk variants rely on speed or close-quarters brutality, the Bes'bavar sacrifices agility in exchange for overwhelming payload capacity and defensive resilience. Its massive frame houses missile batteries, proton bomb racks, and seismic charge dispensers capable of annihilating hardened fortifications, armored battalions, and starship installations with sustained saturation bombardment.

Designed to be crewed by two riders - a pilot and a dedicated gunner - the Bes'bavar enables true multi-operator warfare. The pilot manages navigation, positioning, and evasive maneuvering, while the gunner controls its vast weapons suite, coordinating missile salvos and bombing runs with ruthless precision. This dual-crew configuration significantly increases battlefield effectiveness but also deepens the machine's psychological imprinting. Unlike most war droids, the Bes'bavar is semi-sentient, and its advanced personality matrix and heuristic processors grant it intelligence comparable to a trained animal or young child. Over time, it forms emotional bonds with both riders, recognizing their voices, flight patterns, and combat behavior. It will often prioritize shielding them with its own bulk, even when doing so contradicts optimal tactical logic.

To magnify its terror, the droid is equipped with a specialized sound emitter capable of reproducing the piercing cry of the Drexl - the winged predator of Dxun once used as a living mount by ancient Mandalorians. When broadcast during bombing runs or low-altitude approaches, the sound has been documented to cause panic, hesitation, and moral collapse among unprepared forces.

When one or both of its riders are killed, the Bes'bavar frequently enters a grief state. It will emit prolonged, distorted howls mimicking a wounded Drexl, sometimes circling the battlefield or hovering near the fallen bodies. In extreme cases, it may refuse command, become violently aggressive toward nearby units, or shut down entirely - in rare instances, it will often collect the fallen bodies and flee into space. Only to be found months or years later.

To the Mandalorians, the Bes'bavar is not merely a weapon platform - it is a living instrument of destruction. It is deployed when cities must burn, fortresses must fall, and enemies must be broken not only by fire, but by fear itself.

STRENGTHS
  • Fleet-Level Electronic Warfare Dominance - The combination of Jamming Beams, the 220-SIG Tactical Combat Jammer, and the 995 Stormcloud ECM Suite allows the Susulur-type to cripple enemy sensor networks, disrupt targeting solutions, and degrade battlefield coordination across entire task forces.
  • Interdiction Supremacy - Four gravity well projectors enable the ship to forcibly pull vessels from hyperspace and prevent escape, making it a decisive tool for ambushes, system blockades, and large-scale containment operations.
  • Cloak Detection Capability - A highly expensive and specialized sensor system, the Crystal Gravfield Trap provides the only reliable means to detect vessels using active cloaking devices, giving the Susulur-type unmatched counter-stealth utility.
  • Massive Carrier Capacity - With hangar facilities for three starfighter wings - organized into three squadrons per wing - and an additional three support squadrons, the Susulur-type can deploy sufficient aerospace force while remaining focused on electronic warfare and interdiction.
  • Fire-Control Suppression Systems - Jamming Beams can "paint" hostile vessels and directly interfere with targeting computers, drastically reducing enemy accuracy and missile lock reliability during engagements.
  • Missile and Strike Craft Neutralization - Missile deactivation transmitters, anti-missile octets, point-defense lasers, and point-defense ion cannons create a dense defensive envelope against saturation attacks.
  • Sensor and Signal Superiority - Multiple active and passive sensor arrays, hyperspectral imaging, hyperwave interception, and long-range signal dishes provide exceptional battlefield awareness and communications interception.
  • Force Multiplier for Allied Fleets - When operating alongside Mandalorian warships, the Susulur-type dramatically increases allied lethality by degrading enemy coordination while protecting friendly forces from electronic attack.
  • Psychological and Strategic Deterrence - The presence of a Susulur-type in a system signals total electronic surveillance, interdiction, and isolation, often forcing adversaries to withdraw or avoid engagement entirely.
  • Extreme Defensive Durability - Layered deflector and ion shields, carbon-durasteel armor, beskar-reinforced hull plating, and a damage-reduction system allow the vessel to survive prolonged exposure to capital-grade weaponry.
WEAKNESSES
  • Extremely Limited Direct Firepower - The ship lacks sufficient heavy weaponry to meaningfully threaten capital ships on its own and is dependent on escorts or embarked starfighters for offensive action.
  • Reliance on Electronic Systems - Its combat effectiveness is heavily dependent on complex jamming, sensor, and ECM infrastructure; specialized anti-electronics weapons or rare counter-ECM technologies can reduce its advantage.
  • Large Strategic Target - As an interdictor and fleet support vessel, the Susulur-type is often prioritized by enemy forces for destruction or sabotage.
  • Automated - Internal systems are automated to allow for a smaller crew complement to operate the vessel. However, this renders them vulnerable to Ion-based weaponry and EMP-based strikes designed to disable or overwhelm electrical systems. If these systems were disabled or destroyed, it would place a higher demand on the limited crew and have the potential to render the vessel inoperable.
  • Enormous Maintenance Burden - Advanced sensors, gravity wells, and jamming arrays require constant calibration and specialized parts, straining logistics even for the Mandalorian military, reducing the overall production of these vessels and limiting their deployment en masse.
  • Vulnerability When Isolated - Without escorting warships or its starfighter wings deployed, the vessel is vulnerable to concentrated assaults by dedicated combat fleets.
  • Reduced Effectiveness in Close-Range Brawls - At knife-fight distances, its electronic advantages diminish while its lack of heavy turbolaser coverage becomes critical.
  • Tactical Predictability - Enemy commanders often assume the ship's role as an interdictor and ECM platform, allowing prepared forces to develop specialized counter-strategies.
  • Limited Planetary Bombardment Capability - The Susulur-type is unsuited for surface suppression or siege operations, and its small contingent of Mandalorians and supporting Droids is only effective for limited boarding operations against smaller Cruisers, Frigates, and lightly defended Stations.
  • Energy Consumption - Gravity wells, shield projectors, and ECM systems place a massive strain on reactor output, limiting sustained maximum-power operation.
DESCRIPTION
The Susulur-type Countermeasures Ship is the Mandalorian Empire's definitive expression of electronic warfare, developed by Aether Systems as a successor to the Cuirassier-class platform. Where traditional warships dominate through overwhelming firepower, the Susulur-type conquers through control of the battlespace itself.

At 1,600 meters in length, the vessel occupies the upper boundary between Light Destroyer and full Star Destroyer, yet its purpose is neither direct assault nor fleet command. Instead, it serves as a mobile fortress of sensors, signal warfare, and interdiction technology - capable of isolating entire star systems from escape while rendering hostile fleets effectively blind and disorganized. Its four gravity well projectors allow it to tear vessels from hyperspace lanes and prevent retreat, while its Crystal Gravfield Trap provides unparalleled detection of cloaked craft, a capability possessed by few ships in the galaxy. These systems alone make the Susulur-type invaluable for hunting stealth fleets, rogue task forces, and covert infiltration groups.

In combat, the ship rarely fires first. Instead, its Jamming Beams mark hostile targets and scramble their fire-control systems, causing weapons to drift off target, missiles to lose lock, and fleet coordination to fracture. The 220-SIG Tactical Combat Jammer and 995 Stormcloud ECM Suite blanket entire regions of space in electronic interference, overwhelming sensor arrays and reducing enemy formations to fragmented, confused elements.

Defensively, the Susulur-type is built like a siege engine in reverse - designed not to break fortresses, but to withstand them. Its layered shields, beskar-reinforced hull, carbon-durasteel armor, and damage reduction systems allow it to absorb punishment long enough for its electronic warfare to turn the tide of battle. Dense point-defense networks and missile countermeasure systems further protect it from bomber swarms and saturation attacks. Internally, the ship functions as both an electronic warfare command center and a fleet carrier, housing facilities for three full wings of starfighters and three squadrons of support craft. These embarked forces provide the kinetic striking power the ship itself lacks, allowing it to dictate the flow of battle while allied pilots deliver the killing blow.

Among the Mandalorians, the Susulur-type is known as 'The Silent Cage' - a vessel that does not merely fight its enemies, but traps them in darkness, strips away their senses, and leaves them helpless in the void.

STRENGTHS
  • Devastating Missile Saturation Capability - With hundreds of missile launchers and warhead types, the Duraanir-type can overwhelm even the densest point-defense networks through sheer volume and variety of munitions.
  • T-33 Plasma Torpedo Shield-Breaker - Its signature plasma torpedoes release a cone of radiation at shield impact that rivals or exceeds capital-scale ion batteries, making the cruiser exceptionally effective at collapsing ray shields and disabling protected targets.
  • Interdiction Functionality - Two gravity well projectors allow the ship to forcibly extract vessels from hyperspace and prevent escape, making it ideal for ambushes, blockades, and system denial.
  • Cloak Detection Capability - A highly expensive and specialized sensor system, the Crystal Gravfield Trap provides the only reliable means to detect vessels using active cloaking devices, giving the Duraanir-type unmatched counter-stealth utility.
  • Extreme Electronic Warfare Suite - Jamming Beams, the 220-SIG Tactical Combat Jammer, and the 995 Stormcloud ECM Suite combine to degrade enemy sensors, fire-control solutions, missile guidance, and fleet coordination.
  • Fire-Control Suppression Weaponry - Jamming Beams can "paint" hostile vessels and disrupt their targeting systems directly, reducing accuracy and neutralizing precision weapons.
  • Precision Targeting Infrastructure - Multiple advanced targeting arrays, holo-targeting suites, and ranging lasers enable extremely accurate long-range missile and torpedo strikes.
  • Multi-Layered Area Denial - Ion missiles, discord missiles, cluster bombs, and concussion warheads allow the Duraanir-type to control large volumes of space and punish tight enemy formations.
  • Fleet Support Disruption Role - When operating alongside Mandalorian battle groups, the ship cripples enemy logistics and coordination before direct engagement begins.
  • Capital-Ship Killer - Designed to engage larger warships, the cruiser excels at stripping shields, disabling systems, and finishing targets through repeated guided salvos.
WEAKNESSES
  • Low Speed & Poor Maneuverability - The Duraanir-type cannot reposition quickly and is vulnerable to being outmaneuvered by faster capital ships, while its massive missile infrastructure and reinforced hull limit turning performance and evasive capability.
  • Minimal Starfighter Capacity - With only a single squadron, the ship has limited organic fighter screening and must rely on escorts for additional protection, or force projection.
  • Heavy Dependence on Munitions - Once missile reserves are depleted, its offensive power drops sharply, requiring resupply by a fleet tender, which can often be dangerous during pitched or prolonged engagements.
  • Vulnerability to Close-Range Brawling - At short ranges, its missile advantage diminishes, and faster warships can exploit its sluggish handling.
  • Reactor Strain During Full Operations - Running gravity wells, ECM systems, shields, and missile launchers simultaneously, heavily taxes the power grid, limiting sustained maximum-power operation.
  • Limited Pursuit Capability - Once a target escapes the range of its active Gravity Wells, the cruiser cannot effectively give chase to hunt down the enemy vessel.
  • Tactical Predictability - Enemy commanders often assume the role of the ship as an interdictor and missile platform, allowing prepared forces to develop and deploy specialized counter-strategies.
  • Enormous Maintenance Burden - Advanced sensors, gravity wells, jamming arrays, and targeting systems require constant calibration and specialized parts, straining logistics even for the Mandalorian military, which reduces the overall production of these vessels and limits their deployment en masse.
  • High Crew and Logistics Demand - Thousands of crew and ordnance specialists increase operational complexity and vulnerability to casualties, while missile launch systems and targeting arrays require constant calibration and specialized technicians.
  • Large Target Profile - The ship's bulk and launcher arrays make it easy to track and difficult to conceal.
DESCRIPTION
The Duraanir-type Guided Missile Cruiser represents a philosophy of overwhelming, methodical destruction through superior technology and calculated brutality. Developed by Aether Systems for the Mandalorian Empire, the cruiser was conceived as a successor to earlier missile cruisers, combining interdictor capabilities with extreme long-range firepower and advanced electronic warfare. At one thousand meters in length, the Duraanir-type is built around its colossal missile architecture. Much of its internal volume is dedicated to magazines, launch systems, targeting processors, and redundant fire-control networks, allowing it to unleash sustained barrages over extended engagements. Where conventional cruisers rely on turbolasers, the Duraanir-type wages war through waves of guided death.

Its most feared weapon, the T-33 Plasma Torpedo, was designed specifically to counter modern shield technology. Detonating at the perimeter of a target's ray shields, the torpedo releases a focused radiation surge several times stronger than typical capital-grade ion batteries, overloading shield grids and exposing hulls to follow-up strikes. Entire battle lines have collapsed within minutes of coordinated plasma torpedo salvos.

Beyond raw firepower, the ship is a master of battlespace control. Twin gravity well projectors deny hyperspace escape, while the Crystal Gravfield Trap exposes even the most advanced cloaking devices. Enemy fleets encountering a Duraanir-type often find themselves trapped, blind, and disoriented before the first missiles are even launched. Its electronic warfare systems blanket the surrounding space in sensor noise and targeting distortion. Jamming Beams actively corrupt fire-control systems on painted targets, while the Stormcloud ECM Suite and 220-SIG jammer cripple coordination and missile guidance across entire formations. Against such conditions, disciplined fleets dissolve into scattered, vulnerable clusters.

Defensively, the cruiser is closer to a fortress than a conventional warship. Layered armor, redundant shielding, and a damage-reduction system allow it to endure punishment that would cripple lesser vessels, buying the time needed to grind enemies down through attrition. However, this power comes at a cost. Slow, ponderous, and demanding enormous logistical support, the Duraanir-type cannot operate effectively without escorts and careful positioning. It is not a hunter, but an executioner - meant to anchor battle lines, lock systems down, and annihilate anything unfortunate enough to be caught within its reach.

Among Mandalorian naval circles, the Duraanir-type is known as 'the Iron Noose' - a ship that tightens its grip slowly, inescapably, until resistance collapses under missile fire and electronic silence.

STRENGTHS
  • Fleet-Scale Carrier Capacity - Capable of deploying three full starfighter squadrons and two wings of support craft - organized into three squadrons per wing - the Jurir-type serves as a true fleet carrier, sustaining continuous strike, interception, and logistic operations far from friendly space.
  • Integrated Destroyer-Grade Firepower - Unlike traditional carriers, the Jurir-type mounts heavy turbolasers, agrocite cannons, ion batteries, and missile systems, allowing it to actively participate in line-of-battle engagements rather than remaining a rear-line asset.
  • Exceptional Defensive Layering - Redundant deflector shields, missile deactivation transmitters, antimissile octets, point-defense ion cannons, and beskar-reinforced armor grant the vessel extreme survivability against both capital weapons and starfighter swarms.
  • Massive Troop Deployment Capability - With capacity for 14,500 Mandalorians and 3,500 War Droids, equipment, vehicles, and four IM-455 modular garrisons, the carrier functions as a mobile invasion platform capable of launching full planetary assaults without external transports.
  • Optimized Support Craft Operations - Designed to routinely operate alongside Atiniir-type Q-Carriers, the Jurir-type excels at sustaining fuel, rearmament, repairs, and rapid redeployment of its embarked aerospace forces.
  • Advanced Small-Craft Command and Recovery - Three dedicated control towers allow precise monitoring, traffic control, emergency recovery, and automated recall of starfighters and support vessels, significantly reducing operational losses during high-intensity engagements.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Speed - The Jurir-type cannot rapidly redeploy or disengage, making it dependent on escorts for strategic mobility and pursuit operations.
  • Very Poor Maneuverability - Its size, hangar architecture, and armor mass severely restrict turning performance, making it vulnerable to flanking by fast capital ships.
  • Carrier Vulnerability During Flight Operations - While launching or recovering large numbers of craft, portions of the ship's hangar shielding must cycle, temporarily reducing defensive coverage.
  • Complex Command and Control Load - Coordinating multiple squadrons, support wings, troop deployments, and control towers requires elite officers; inexperience crews reduce effectiveness.
  • Large Target Profile - At 1.2 Kilometers long, the vessel is impossible to conceal and easily tracked by enemy sensor networks.
  • Reliance on Fighter Screen - Despite its heavy armament, the carrier performs best when protected by its own starfighters and escort vessels; isolation significantly increases risk.
DESCRIPTION
The Jurir-type Carrier represents the Mandalorian Empire's solution to modern fleet warfare - a warship that merges the strategic reach of a fleet carrier with the destructive authority of a light destroyer. Designed and mass-produced by Aether Systems, the class was conceived not merely as a vessel for launching starfighters but as a self-contained mobile war platform capable of conquering and holding entire systems. At twelve hundred meters in length, the Jurir-type is built around an expansive internal hangar complex, layered flight decks, and hardened deployment bays optimized for both atmospheric and deep-space operations. Three full squadrons of starfighters form its offensive spearhead, while two wings of support craft - most commonly Atiniir-type Q-Carriers - ensure constant resupply, repairs, and battlefield recovery.

Unlike traditional carriers, the Jurir-type is heavily armed. Octuple-barbette heavy turbolasers and agrocite cannons dominate its broadside batteries, while ion cannons, missile launchers, and torpedo tubes allow it to cripple enemy systems before its starfighters ever close to attack range. Dense point-defense grids and missile-countermeasure networks create a lethal perimeter, turning the carrier into a fortress against bomber formations and torpedo salvos. The vessel's true strategic value lies in its role as a mobile invasion hub. Capable of transporting over fourteen thousand Mandalorian warriors, thousands of war droids, and four IM-455 Modular Garrisons, the Jurir-type can arrive in orbit and deploy a fully operational planetary occupation force within hours. Entire cities can be secured, fortified, and governed directly from their onboard command decks.

Three elevated control towers dot the surface of the vessel, serving as the nerve centers of carrier operations. From these towers, flight controllers manage traffic patterns, emergency recalls, automated recovery of disabled craft, and real-time monitoring of every deployed starfighter and support vessel. In chaotic fleet battles, these towers often determine whether squadrons return home - or vanish into the void.

Heavily armored, slow, and ponderous, the Jurir-type is not built for pursuit. Instead, it anchors battle lines, projects aerospace dominance, and delivers armies where resistance must be broken. Among the Mandalorians into is known as the 'Iron Cradle' - a ship that carries both the warriors of conquest and the machinery to sustain it. Where the Jurir-type emerges from hyperspace, space superiority soon follows, and planetary submission is never far behind.
